s a reverse mortgage loan officer, I appreciate how Salesgenie lets me target homeowners based on age, property value, mortgage status, and location. The filters help me identify prospects that fit my business model, saving me time and improving the quality of my outreach. The platform is easy to use, and the ability to save searches and manage records makes my marketing efforts much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

My biggest challenge with Salesgenie is that the large number of filters can feel overwhelming at times, especially when creating highly targeted lists. It would also be helpful to have clearer information on when records were last updated and stronger tools for identifying duplicate leads before purchase. Despite these issues, the platform remains a valuable source for prospecting.

Salesgenie helps me solve one of the biggest challenges in my business: finding the right prospects efficiently. **What do you like best about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

The user experience makes it very easy to navigate the website, and get to the exact filters you want. As far as pulling data from the same sheet is a little more complicated but still not crazy hard. The performance is top notch and can get lists easily. The pricing is standard to what we see across the industry. The support is really good and you can get someone on the phone as fast as you need.

**What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

It should be easier to pull from a huge list multiple times so I can pull data from it once a month. Example: a 10,000 lead list, I pull 1000 per month, its kind of difficult

**What problems is Salesgenie by Data Axle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping my business find the data for other businesses to help find better audiences to market to.

I really appreciate how Salesgenie by Data Axle has filtering that gets down to the finer details, allowing me to separate data from highest to lowest ICP and focus on the most important clients first. The onboarding process was simple, with easy training, and they were always quick to help out, which was excellent. The system provides a ton of information and lets me control it, which is great for budget constraints like ours at a startup. Being super simple to use, I can easily put in SIC codes, filter, and control data to maximize downloads. What stands out is the ease of how it allows me to dive into details and create a hierarchy within data, which makes my workflows more efficient. The initial setup was a cakewalk, incredibly easy, and the support was fantastic; my trainer was very kind and gave ample time to ensure I understood everything. It's loaded with information and the simplicity of using it is remarkable.

Nothing in particular stands out to me. Overall, I think it’s a mediocre tool that still needs a lot of work and improvement.

**What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

I'm very unhappy with the product. I've had a lot of trouble with creating audiences, uploading HTML emails, even sending emails. Everything seems to just get stuck. The email builder is difficult to use. Uploading HTML email has not worked for me. An email didn't go at the time that I scheduled it for. Basically, every part of it seems to be broken. The initial setup was really hard and not intuitive. When I reached out for help, I didn't get what I wanted.

**What problems is Salesgenie by Data Axle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesgenie by Data Axle is supposed to help us find our target demographic. It would benefit me greatly if they actually did that, but so far I haven’t found that they deliver on their promise.

I can pull a list in record time! I am producing lists for team members with very unique prospects and I have so many options to built upon.

**What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

I think this is more a user confidence thing. I haven't done many lists or had enough feedback from my sales people to know if the lists (I have only exported 3) are segmented optimally.

**What problems is Salesgenie by Data Axle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to eliminate a financially bloated platform that was being underused by our sales people. Now we can see who is looking and where and are able to guide the prospecting cycle from leads to emails, flyers and postcards!

The depth of information they have on the individuals & companies on the platform. Honestly amazing that they have credit scores, revenue, among many other filters.

There are a decent amount of business contacts that are incorrect. Enough that I feel like I can't fully trust it. Whether it's the business name, business address, or owner.... if I am generating the list for myself I feel the need to verify each business & contact manually which is extremely tedious

Generating leads for my own business & generating mailing lists for my clients.

I really like that Salesgenie by Data Axle is super simple and very user-friendly. It's able to hook up with our dialer, Kixie, so I can just click on a number on the screen, and it'll pop up. This makes it easy for us to go through a lot more leads because it integrates well with our dialer. As soon as there's a telephone number on the screen, we can click it, and it'll call directly from our Kixie dialer, which uses a local number, making it more likely for people to answer.

**What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

The data when you pay or when you download it, it pretty much comes out, it's hard for us to put it on a dialer. So even if we download our credits or whatever, it just makes it more time-consuming than just calling it.

I like that Salesgenie by Data Axle is easy to use, allowing us to create lots of different lists of contacts quickly. The email campaign capability is handy for testing out all the emails. A really nice feature is that they credit us back for any emails that bounce. The data quality is much better compared to other platforms we've used in the past, which is why we chose them. The initial setup was very simple; we were up and running within an hour.

**What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

The email campaign functionality only sends one email. We would like to be able to send an email drip sequence with a series of emails where the first one gets sent, then after a few days, a follow-up email is sent, and so on. Right now, one email is considered a campaign, which isn't very effective for us.

Salesgenie by Data Axle provides much better data quality than other platforms for contact information, making it easy to create different contact lists quickly. Their email campaign capability allows us to test emails, and they credit us back for bounced emails, which is nice.

I love how easy it is to use Salesgenie by Data Axle, and I love that there's always support available. If I have an issue, like the other day when I had a problem getting into my account, they immediately fixed it. The ability to filter my leads to target my prospects is amazing. It was incredibly easy to set up; they sent me an email with everything I needed to do, and I got it going in ten minutes.

I like the ease of the platform; the user interface is very simple and direct. You can even email within the platform once you have verified data. Even with all the AI, it keeps everything pretty simple. It's valuable because I can stay within one platform. Although it's not a full CRM, it allows me to start my prospecting from the email standpoint, with options for mailing addresses and sending business cards or flyers directly to businesses. I also like the simplicity that it's not a full CRM, with data easily shared through CSV or Excel spreadsheet. The initial setup was very easy, with my access set up within one or two business days, allowing me to start prospecting right away. Intent data is very valuable and you are able to enrich data.

I do wish it was a full CRM but you're able to upload with CSV.

I love the fantastic customer support and the levels of specificity to the data I can retrieve from Salesgenie by Data Axle. In the beginning, especially, having super prompt and great service from technical support was super important to quickly learn how to use the platform. I appreciate how the data can be niched down in literally hundreds of different ways, allowing me to get super creative with the kinds of lists I want to produce, plus the options are endless!

The search criteria is a little cumbersome when applying key words.  Their previous platform was more simple and easy to navigate.

I like Salesgenie by Data Axle's ability to segregate names and addresses and group them by age and location. The setup was very easy for me.

The number of phone numbers that were active and working was very limited. And there were very few mobile phone numbers provided.  In addition, the monthly service fee was high and downloading contact information or using the built-in email functionality costs extra.

I use Salesgenie by Data Axle to collect names and phone numbers, targeting a specific demographic for insurance purposes. I like the ability to segregate names and addresses, grouping them by age and location.  Although I didn't use the emails or physical addresses, this data could be helpful for marketing purposes.

How in depth your search can be. You can narrow it down based on company size, vertical marketing, general area- or all three. Compared to other systems, I have found the info provided is more accurate and up to date. This is a key difference maker when cold calling. You can also store info for your follow ups instead of having to move key information from Salesgenie to another system.

Compared to other systems, I have no complaints. It offered to solutions to issues I had previously encountered with other sales systems.

It's been a game changer- there are no excuses.

Additionally, I value its flexibility to use in any city, which benefits me as a life insurance broker. The demographic and geographical targeting features are incredibly useful for narrowing down leads.

I wish I could select leads and have them pre-routed directly within Salesgenie, as this would streamline my workflow. Additionally, the current system bundles street addresses together messily, especially when exporting to an Excel spreadsheet. If the software could organize street addresses and house numbers in order, it would be much more beneficial and improve data management significantly.

**What do you like best about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

I have a telemarketing company with multiple clients that require lead generation from multiple different industries. Salesgenie allows me to pull new data lists, label the lists and modify them as needed without the need to pull the data out of Salesgenie. The one set monthly fee is a huge cost savings for my company. In addition, I can put notes on each line item as the calls are being made, just as you would in any CRM. I am technically challenged and can get very frustrated when trying to learn a new CRM but there was very little learning curve needed and the customer service rep was available at a moment’s notice whenever I needed a question answered. Honestly, I am so glad that I have found their service.

**What do you dislike about Salesgenie by Data Axle?**

At the moment, the service works exactly as I need it to - so zero complaints.

**What problems is Salesgenie by Data Axle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I wasn’t using Salesgenie, I would have to purchase data lists, modify the lists for import into a CRM which costs a lot of time and money. Salesgenie provides all in one which is extremely helpful.
