I use Salesgenie primarily to source leads for home healthcare acquisitions, and I’ve found it to be one of the most cost-effective and efficient tools out there. The volume of data it provides is impressive, and when I reach out to the leads, I’ve had a fairly high success rate with connecting to real business owners. The interface is simple to navigate, the list-building features are intuitive, and the ability to filter by industry, location, and other criteria makes it highly customizable. For my purposes, Salesgenie has played a big role in helping me identify and engage with potential sellers, and it’s been a key tool in building my outreach funnel. While Salesgenie is useful, there are some important downsides. The biggest issue is data accuracy—many times, the phone numbers are outdated or incorrect, which leads to a lot of wasted dials. Also, the business owner names are sometimes inaccurate or out of date, which makes it harder to connect with the right person. The revenue range estimates can also be misleading and are often not based on current or verifiable financials. Lastly, it’s very difficult to filter out franchises from the lead lists, which is a problem when you’re targeting independent businesses like I am in the home healthcare space.
