As the Salesforce admin at World Central Kitchen, what I value most is how much I can build declaratively without code. Flow Builder lets me automate our volunteer intake, donation acknowledgments, and field response workflows so the team spends less time on manual data entry and more time getting meals to people. The reporting and dashboard tools are excellent for tracking meals served, active field operations, and donor engagement in real time, which makes it easy to give our leadership and program teams the numbers they need. The Nonprofit Cloud data model and the AppExchange ecosystem also mean I rarely have to reinvent the wheel, and the platform's flexibility lets me tailor page layouts and objects to how our disaster-response programs actually work. Even with nonprofit discounts, the licensing and add-on pricing adds up quickly for a lean organization, and it takes real budget planning to justify. The platform is powerful but has a steep learning curve, so onboarding new staff and volunteers takes time and I often end up building custom training. Some of the more advanced features effectively require a consultant or a lot of admin hours to configure well. Performance can lag on very large reports, and the frequent seasonal releases occasionally change behavior I've built around, so I have to keep an eye on release notes to avoid surprises. Before Salesforce, our donor, volunteer, and program data lived in scattered spreadsheets and disconnected tools, which made it hard to get a single, trustworthy view of our operations. Now we have one central system where we track donations, manage volunteers, and monitor field response programs, so our development, operations, and leadership teams are all working from the same data. Automating acknowledgments and intake with Flow has cut down significantly on manual work, and real-time dashboards let us report on meals served and donor impact without pulling numbers together by hand. The biggest benefit is speed and confidence in our data, which matters a lot when we're standing up disaster response quickly and need to act on accurate information. But now after around a year it is greatly focused on the AI, specifically Agentforce, side of development too. It provides capabilities for users and developers to develop and work on AI applications, agents and all related things which is a great enhancement in my opinion. One thing I’ve really appreciated is how the platform has continued to embrace a more API-first and composable approach. The improvements around developer tooling, integration capabilities, and support for modern frontend frameworks have made it much easier to build experiences that don’t feel tied to a traditional Salesforce UI. I also like that Salesforce has been investing more in performance, scalability, and interoperability. It allows frontend teams and Salesforce teams to work more independently, which has improved collaboration on larger projects. While there’s still room for improvement, it’s good to see the platform evolving in a direction that aligns with modern web development rather than trying to keep everything inside the Salesforce ecosystem. The first and foremost is debugging is very time taking like previously I used to work in C# so there debugging is so easy like you need to apply breakpoint and you are able to identify the issue fast but in Salesforce it is very hard as we need to apply logs and check the logs once everything runs. Other area where Salesforce Headless 360 could improve is the overall developer experience. While the platform is powerful, getting started can still feel overwhelming, especially for teams that are new to headless architecture. Clearer documentation, more end-to-end implementation guides, and practical real-world examples would make adoption much smoother. I’d also like to see better debugging and monitoring tools that make it easier to trace issues across the frontend, APIs, and Salesforce backend. In larger projects, identifying the root cause of a problem can be time-consuming because multiple systems are involved. Finally, expanding the ecosystem with more reusable components, reference architectures, and community resources would help developers deliver projects faster while reducing the learning curve for newcomers. It has all the information about our customers, from start to signature, to being a live customer. On the other side it also provides us with all the information we have on our prospective customers. What we like is that we have so much data and Salesforce helps us to store that date in a structured way, and makes it easy to keep expanding on that data. It also works perfectly within our tech stack ecosystem, where it's our main tool.
