I use Salesforce Sales Cloud for running a sales operation, and it helps me track leads, accounts, and sales activity logging. I appreciate how it provides a live view of leads, deals, and pipelines, making it easier to route leads automatically. What I like most about it is the option for customization without the need for rebuilding, allowing me to tailor stages, fields, and layouts. Customizing stages effectively helps reps know exactly what is needed to move a deal forward, assists managers in spotting stalled deals, and aids in forecasting reality instead of hope.

Because it's easy to customize everything, teams often add too many stages, fields, and rules, which turns CRM into a chore instead of a tool. When there are too many required fields or poorly timed validations, a simple update turns into friction. Reps start doing the minimum to get to the last save button. The initial setup was also hard as it was challenging to decide what real sales stages were, what fields actually mattered, and what data must be required.

Salesforce Sales Cloud’s best thing is how flexible it is. It makes it easy to track every lead and check the different stages of a customer journey from a single platform. The automation also reduces manual effort by handling task reminders, email alerts, and workflows. Overall, it’s a very robust tool, and the friendly UI helps me get a good grasp of the entire system.

1.There are many options and menus available, which can feel frustrating for first-time users. Because of this, some guidance is needed to better understand how the system works.
2. Sometimes it takes time to load page.

There are multiple benefits to using Salesforce Sales Cloud. It keeps everything organized for me in a single system for each client, which makes it much easier to manage information in one place. I can also track each task and workflow in a simple, straightforward way.

The best thing about Salesforce agentforce is how ir blends automation with real reasoning. It thinks with our data, adapts to context, and executes tasks end to end

Agentforce is not really built for supply chain out of the box. While it’s great with the features it offers, i think it struggles when operations are chaotic, use cases are custom objects, systems are fragmented, and data is inconsistent.

It centralizes every team involved in the supply chain. From start to end. So everyone operates from the same source of truth

For my team, SF is the richest source of real customer demand, pain point and revenue signal. We mine opportunities, notes and lost deals to know what features the prospects are asking for during the sales cycle and/or to understand why are deals stalling or losing. This help us see what directly impacts the revenue than guessing. SF also helps to tie feature asks to deal size, pipeline or churn risk that helps the team justify the decision with commercial impact. The shared visibility into deals, blockers and customer conversations can help us jump right into strategic deals when product input is needed. The custom field configured in SF to collect the product feedback help pull opportunities using structured filter.

The reports and dashboard, though powerful, is very sophisticated. There is a huge learning curve before someone masters it. The way object and fields are associated in SF is a complex concept to make a beginner understand. So I spend quite some time on enablement when someone new joins, before they are ready to use the tool

SF Sales cloud help validate roadmap priorities with data. The churn and renewal dashboard, integrated with CS insights helps understand the how many lost deals cite missing reporting features. As this is integrated with our helpdesk tool, SF helps identify pre-sales promises vs post sales reality. The custom objects that collect product feedback, feature request and churn risk score helps the aggregate feedback tie to revenue, account segmnet and deal stage; thereby helps us make better decisions. The notes and chatter feature helps real time visibility and internal team co-ordination.

I really appreciate Salesforce Sales Cloud for its robust customization and seamless integration ecosystem. The Flow Builder is a standout feature because it lets me create complex business logic and automation without writing any code, which is efficient for scaling operations. I also find the AppExchange and the API-first approach to be game-changers, as they allow me to easily connect Salesforce with external data tools like Python scripts or SQL databases, ensuring clean and synchronized data flow. The ability to build custom objects tailored to our specific business needs, instead of being stuck with a generic structure, makes Salesforce an excellent solution for our workflow.

While Salesforce Sales Cloud is powerful, there are a few areas that could be improved. The learning curve and complexity of the platform can be overwhelming, especially for new users or smaller teams without a dedicated admin. The initial setup and configuration are time-consuming. The interface performance, especially the Lightning Experience, can feel sluggish when generating complex reports or loading pages with many custom components; improving speed and responsiveness would be a plus. Pricing transparency is an issue; costs can escalate quickly with more users and third-party integrations from the AppExchange. A more flexible pricing structure for growing startups would be helpful. The mobile app doesn't offer the same deep customization and ease of use as the desktop version, particularly for managing complex data workflows on the go.

I love that it has so many strong features and an easy navigation experience. It integrates with most of our tech stack in the company, which means we get to do our processes while keep good quality data between systems and platforms. The support team is always responsive and ready to help if we encounter any issues.

Although I understand it's such a big vendor with a solid platform, sometimes I believe that prices might be a bit too high for mid-size companies like ours. I've never encountered any performance issue in the platform itself but I do think sometimes it works reptty slow.

The most helpful pointers are that we can quickly introduce multiple fields for a particular case with which we can later pull attributes related to the level of effort or a resource's utilization to great granularity. One more thing is the ease creating dashboards and pull relevant insights very quickly.

Nothing to dislike as such but sometimes the functionality of internal tabs getting opened when ever anew case is opened or chatter or any other objects seems a bit difficult to manage sometimes.

In my experience, it helps a lot with pulling ad hoc reports very quickly, which in turn supports better utilization of my resources.

We no longer use Salesforce Sales Cloud but we use to about 2 years ago, it was a great system for the years we used it but was outdated versus other platforms in the market. I liked the user friendly system they had which was pretty simple and easy to learn.

How it quickly became outdated versus other CRM in the market, they did not adapt as quickly to AI and limited intergrations to lead generation tools.

We no longer use Salesforce Sales Cloud, we decided to switch to a different CRM that is more price effective, more modern and comparable to salesforce.

On top of that, using Agentforce Sales with Slack for team updates and communication fits naturally into my day-to-day workflow and makes collaboration smoother.

Sometimes the AI suggestions don’t fully reflect the real situation and can come across as a bit generic. I’d prefer them to be more accurate, and it would really help if the app explained the reasoning behind each suggestion. Also, when I’m working with large sets of data and records, it can feel slow or heavy. It should run faster and offer stronger filtering and sorting logic so searches can be completed quickly.

I think Salesforce Sales Cloud is pretty fast, which makes transactions on the sales floor efficient. I like the ease of use; it helps me interact with customers and sell or upsell effectively. I use it every day on the tab while moving between different locations, and it supports me in looking up customer background information easily by just typing in their phone number or account number. This efficient access to customer records enables me to pitch different solutions that we sell. Compared to other tools, Salesforce Sales Cloud is just faster and easier to use, even if you need any training.

Sometimes we're having issues with connection at different locations even though my iPad has a data plan. Inside our sites on our Wi-Fi, it gives me hiccups, and I have to close all the applications and then restart.

The setup was very easy, and it really gives you wings.

I think this platform is somewhat hard to use; it doesn’t feel as straightforward as other external platforms. On top of that, the price is quite high. Since it's such a big company, it's also not that easy to get support on smaller questions - but, we can easily get those answers on google/chatgpt.

It's integrated with salesforce, so that's a plus. With that, we can measure how our team is working quite easily, and do performance reviews based on that. It is a reliable platform as well, that doesn't have lots of bugs overall.

The speed with which you can support a sales organization is exceptional. Existing templates and the expansive platform make it easy for experienced partners to implement and easy for the end users and their team to use. Support was good and now it is outstanding because salesforce knows how to support salesforce.

The addition of slack makes it easy to use each day and to connect to your other daily tools like email.

I can't say that I dislike their flagship product. It has received so much love and care that I can't find something to complain about.

The data syncing for contacts and their organization is seamless, making it easier for sales and marketing teams to get campaign-enrolled contact data in Salesforce. Additionally, the ability to check if a contact is a lead or a contact and view associated campaigns is very helpful.

I don't like that duplicate accounts happen quite regularly in Salesforce Sales Cloud when a new contact is added. This results in multiple accounts for the same company, and when new contacts come in, they get divided among these accounts. This division means that some contacts go to one account and some to another, which becomes confusing when opportunities are linked only to one of these accounts. Also, the initial setup wasn't very easy due to a lot of data migration.

I really like the complete visibility (360 degrees) of each client that Salesforce Sales Cloud offers. I can see the entire interaction history on a single screen, which eliminates the need to jump between different applications and helps keep the whole team aligned. The automation of follow-ups is another feature I appreciate, as the system creates automatic reminders and workflows that ensure no potential client is left unattended. I also integrate Salesforce with Gmail and Google Calendar, which is essential because it allows all the emails I send to clients to be automatically recorded, and it syncs my meetings, saving me a lot of time. Switching from Excel spreadsheets to Salesforce was a quality leap because now everything is centralized and automated, making us much more efficient. Most helpful thing that I found about Salesforce Sales Cloud is that just before we didn't used any such things, we used to forget when to call clients and also lost leads and now the best thing I got was it tells me who to call and when should we do a follow up, which deal will be going to close sooner and more than that it provides a smart digital office like setup for the sales team instead of creating and merging things from different sources at one place

Some of the things that I don't like about it is when we have thousands of leads or a lot of activities, that is when it starts to lag while opening accounts and slowly loads records and reports take a lot of time to build and another thing is as we need regular customizations for products and have to add different integrations so after some years it becomes difficult to understand the system which makes that for even small changes and updates, we need consultants

Some of the problems that Salesforce is actually solving are that earlier sales reports were mostly excel lies and managers had to rely on their gut feelings but after using salesforce sales cloud, you will get a real pipeline along with realtime conversion rate and another one is that finance teams need to know that how much of the revenue is coming and when will the cash arrive so in these cases salesforce sales cloud provides weighted pipelines and closing probabilities too which is helpful in production planning

**What do you like best about Agentforce Sales (formerly Salesforce Sales Cloud)?**

I like that Salesforce Sales Cloud is secure and trustworthy, which is important given our compliance needs in the health care space. It's helpful from a reporting perspective, especially for dealing with complex reporting structures with multiple datasets from different third parties. I appreciate the wealth of different Trailblazer-approved partners that support mid-market to mid-sized company needs, which is valuable because we don't have all the resources ourselves. In a comparison with another competitor, Salesforce was the only one that was acceptable for its security, stability, certifications, and compliance. While it may be a difficult tool to use, these features make Salesforce Sales Cloud valuable to us.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Sales (formerly Salesforce Sales Cloud)?**

I don't know that I love the product itself. There are a lot of functional gaps. It's really, really expensive, far too expensive for the value that we actually get out of it. It's also really just hard to use. It's hard to make changes, hard to do reports, and really hard to do anything. We had a big messy dataset and some issues, but we had to get third party help. There was always a catch, bug, or gotcha. Nothing was seamless or out of the box or WYSIWYG. Everything seemed to be a problem and took at least a week to get any sort of movement on. It's definitely not for the faint of heart. The initial setup was terrible and not easy at all. It was very difficult and there's very little help from Salesforce themselves for smaller companies. You're stuck going to a third party, and while there are a lot of them, it's quite expensive.
