Sales dashboards, deal tracking, agreement management and client data. Easy API/Integration with other tools, especially Google Suite.

A lot of functions are not very intuitive and it takes a long time to get the gist of it.

I am an entry-level user, so mostly for retrieving client and contract info, and filling out internal forms.

It allows us to manage and track multiple things in our nonprofit such as field trip booking requests, invoices to be paid, and donor management. We use all three of these tools every day and rely on the field trip booking system we run through Salesforce to manage our programs.

The learning curve for laypeople such as myself who do not have formal technological training is very high and can be confusing for folks who are not familiar with CRMs, databases, or database management.

Salesforce allows us to manage and track hundreds of field trip requests and for a staff of four people, that makes our jobs much more efficient.

Salesforce offers complete services. We can automate our tasks more effectively than before by using different types of flows. We can do this without coding, relying instead on straightforward knowledge and smart thinking to solve complex problems. It also has many integrations across different platforms, which makes our work easier.

Salesforce is powerful, but it can be too complex for simple tasks. Customizing it can take a lot of time because of too many clicks and limited options. Debugging Apex is not as smooth as using modern IDEs. Deployment between orgs feels outdated and could use better tools. One suggestion is Copado or using the CLI.

Salesforce is a great platform that is easy to use. I use it on a daily basis to look up reports, and leveraging management. This application was implemented for our company to help with various departments. In my particular department, our software solution team created an application tracking system out of Salesforce. We have our admin who helps with support through the company's daily usage of running reports and also managing daily activities. The integration was not that bad, the team built it out fairly quickly to help cater to what each department is looking for.

The platform is great, but you have to understand filtering in order to run reports. It can be a bit much, but if you have someone walk you through it, it can be a useful tool.

Salesforce helped with pulling tons of information and helped with integrating the data to a user interface that my team worked on. It was mainly to filter our application and documentation.

I really appreciate how Salesforce integrates smoothly with our bank's systems, including legacy systems and our telephony system, Avaya. Creating a customer 360 view and sales leads is now much easier. Salesforce provides all the features we need and stands out against other CRMs like Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle Siebel. Setting it up was seamless thanks to our implementation partner. Additionally, the platform benefits our contact center sales solutions significantly, and I'd definitely consider it for any future ventures.

I find the licensing for agent tech AI to be problematic as it should be included within our existing licenses.

I find it really hard to reach support unless we escalate our cases or involve an account executive. Every time we create a new case, we have to explain everything again. I know Salesforce has a success program, but it's very expensive and our company doesn't want to invest in it.

Hard for non-tech users to understand terminology (objects, Apex, flows, triggers) and navigate between Classic and Lightning interfaces.

Note: if you are using large datasets - then system lag time is high.

Customising can be tough as it requires more ongoing maintenance, i.e we need dedicated salesforce team/admin to just keep things running.

There is a risk of functionality breaking during platform updates (which happen three times a year).

I really like that Salesforce integrates with different tools and allows me to import data from various sources with ease. Having the email connected directly into the platform is also a big plus—it helps keep all communication and activity in one place, making it easier to track and manage interactions.

I’m not a big fan of the cadence tool. It’s not the most user-friendly, and figuring out the exact dates when automatic emails will be sent can be a bit tricky.

Salesforce is a beast of a platform. There are a lot of tools that I never even use. I would not say I dislike this aspect, but it can be overwhelming at times.

**What problems is Salesforce Headless 360 Platform (formerly Salesforce Platform) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to manage my pipe without a software like Salesforce would be impossible. Salesforce is mandatory in my line of work. It saves me time and manages my pipeline in a way that I never could do on my own.
