One of the biggest improvements I've noticed is the shift to the new Headless 360 platform. I like that Salesforce is making the platform much more API- and AI-first, so it's no longer tied to the traditional CRM interface. The ability to expose business logic, data, and workflows through APIs and MCP tools opens up a lot of flexibility for building AI powered experiences and integrating Salesforce into existing applications without forcing users into the Salesforce UI. It feels like Salesforce is evolving from being just a CRM to becoming a true enterprise platform for AI agents, automation and custom applications, while still maintaining the governance and security that enterprises expect. Salesforce is now API-first and built for agents, the biggest gaps are around accuracy and control. Sometimes agent-driven actions still don’t return the exact output you expect, which makes work allocation tricky. Headless also needs stronger error handling and clearer audit logs so it’s easier to see why an agent made a specific decision or assignment. The Salesforce Platform has been my favorite CRM for my entire sales career. I've used others and quickly realized why I recommend Salesforce to every company leader (regardless of sales team size). Salesforce is a great tool for creating and leverage reports. It also gives you the ability to truly share the status of a companies relationship with a prospect or existing customer account. Without the right level of experience, it isnt a fun tool to train people to use (if they have never used your specific instance). Salesforce also is expensive. The best thing about Agentforce has been that we have been able to gather much of the work in one place instead of jumping between different systems all the time. It has made everyday life smoother, especially when several people need to keep track of the same customer flows and tasks. For us, it has been helpful to be able to build on the platform according to our own needs, without everything feeling locked from the start. What has been the least smooth is that sometimes it feels a bit heavy to get started and find the right way among all the functions.
