The UI/UX is intuitive and modern, with flexible customization options that make it easy for both developers and business users to navigate and build solutions efficiently. The low-code capabilities significantly improve productivity and reduce development time. One of the biggest strengths is its integration ecosystem. The platform enables seamless connectivity with Salesforce products and external systems via APIs, connectors, and middleware, allowing organizations to create a unified data layer and automate end-to-end business processes. I like that Salesforce Platform is fairly easy to use for creating simple emails, which is helpful for someone like me who isn't advanced in HTML. It's also easy to add lists for sending emails. The platform has a decent interface for organizing emails, and I appreciate that it provides a lot of analytics and data, which is important for my organization. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy, especially with help from an outside vendor, and we were able to start deploying emails a month early because everything went so well. It's almost impossible to copy content from one email to another. Its functionality for dynamic content is extremely wonky. The biggest negative is just the incredible difficulty of searching inside Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Also, the interface has not been updated in a long time, and it's hard to use. I feel that I'm pretty adept with technology and I found that the Sales Platform was initially a bit confusing. The process of filling out information and documents took me awhile to adjust to. I enjoyed the communication aspect and being able to find professionals in my field to ask questions and also get technical help if needed. I really like the Salesforce platform for its constant improvement and evolution efforts, which demonstrate a commitment to staying ahead of the curve, particularly in areas like automation. The platform enhances the value of my role by automating business solutions and processes that previously weren't automated, saving time for business stakeholders and making my position as a Salesforce administrator more valuable. The recent introduction of AI is intriguing, and though it brings complexities, it maintains the platform's reputation for innovation. I find features like permission groups to be extremely useful, enabling the organization of permissions by job description and offering ease in cleanup operations. The page layout permissions type search is another addition that has facilitated my troubleshooting tasks as an admin. Additionally, I find the object manager indispensable in my work, as it significantly streamlines my responsibilities. The platform's comprehensive functionality makes my tasks faster and easier to execute. Despite some challenges with certain integrations, sorting out kinks in partnership with vendors has typically led to successful resolutions, which highlights Salesforce's capability to integrate effectively with other tools. The platform is vast, and focusing on one area and becoming an expert is challenging due to the abundance of information and limited documentation available, especially for new or recently acquired products.","Sometimes when Salesforce releases new features, they aren't accompanied by all the necessary components to transition fully away from older systems. For instance, dynamic forms require the retention of old page layouts for certain functions like inline editing, which adds complexity and tech debt.","The pricing model for Salesforce's AI features is confusing and difficult to predict, creating uncertainties about costs for businesses. This could alienate customers and price them out of the newer models.","Frequent renaming of products is frustrating and confusing, both for users and Salesforce staff, as evidenced by jokes made at events like Dreamforce.
