It's sophistication. Our nonprofit had used a variety of other CRMs over the years, and as our nonprofit was growing, we quickly outgrow (and feel like we outsmarted) each CRM we had that was built for nonprofits. Salesforce is the next level, and we feel confident that this is the best tool to grow with and move us to be more sophisticated in our data, tech, marketing, and fundraising. Salesforce still has features in the nonprofit cloud that don't make sense. Donations are labeled like big software sales, like pitch made, closed, won. Doesn't apply to the donation process. Wish they would eliminate aspects of their software like that. Also the learning curve is a little steep for understanding data - contacts vs. files vs. families and where to leave applicable notes for each. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
