"simplify my work and enhance my results"
5/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

What I like most about Agentforce Marketing is that the AI agents do a large part of the work for me. They automate tasks, personalize in real-time, and greatly simplify campaign management. In short: it's faster, smarter, and much easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

What I like least about Agentforce Marketing is that it can be somewhat complex at first and requires time to master all its functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Client Segmentation, Smooth User Journeys"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

I like the Journeys feature in Agentforce Marketing because it helps me in building segmented journeys for our clients. The SMS feature is great for reaching the right clients and connecting with them in different ways based on their preferences. I'm also happy with the process of the initial setup, even though it took some time. It was worth it as the tool was installed from the beginning, which was easy to manage. I find that it effectively helps in finding the right clients to speak with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Email Building and Easy Automation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud"
4/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

The most helpful part about working in salesforce marketing cloud is the streamlined build. It’s a common sense approach to working building emails. The most upside part of marketing cloud is the ability to automate your processes. The automaton process in marketing cloud is easy to learn and implement and helps get your content in from of guests when they need to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

Marketing cloud is built on an older base. There is clunky part of the platform that don’t work as well as they may have 10 years ago. It could use an upgrade to the base and look. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful multichannel marketing tool, our favorite new “coworker”"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

Salesforce Marketing Cloud has expanded our ability to deliver automated, personalized, multichannel marketing, and with its growing AI capabilities, it’s becoming an essential partner for our organization.

A few pros for us include multipoint journeys. Journey Builder has given us the ability to create complex, multipoint customer journeys that adapt to real-time behavior. This shift from one-off sends to lifecycle-based automation has elevated the sophistication of our marketing programs.

Decision-based triggers are another major benefit. With decision splits, we can trigger different paths based on engagement, data attributes, or customer actions. This level of branching logic allows us to deliver highly personalized messaging at scale. It also helps us reengage people who didn’t register for events, or who may just need another nudge or extra incentive to register.

SMS integration has also strengthened our multichannel integrated marketing communications. Bringing SMS directly into our journeys—alongside email and automation—has improved reach, consistency, and responsiveness across key touchpoints. Prior to implementing Salesforce, one of our divisions used a one-way SMS service, but now we can have two-way conversations that can be tracked in Salesforce under “tasks.” This provides a clear snapshot of all the touchpoints with customers.

Finally, as a small marketing department, we’re especially excited about the AI tools being built into Salesforce. Being able to generate briefs, brainstorm content, and accelerate copy creation makes it feel like we have an extra coworker in our corner. It helps us move faster, stay creative, and keep up with the demands of modern marketing without needing a large team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Limited Design Templates

The platform’s email design template library feels limited, especially for teams that rely heavily on drag-and-drop design. Many of the templates need significant modification to align with modern branding standards. It would be ideal to use our brand fonts directly, without having to manually enter code.

On the topic of coding, creating polished, fully branded emails often requires a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, or AMPscript. That raises the technical barrier and can slow down teams that don’t have dedicated developers or advanced technical marketers like ours.

From a testing standpoint, an email inbox preview feature like Litmus would also be a huge improvement. As we know, emails can render differently across email clients, and being able to test and view those variations would provide more confidence that our emails are accessible for all intended recipients. "Robust CRM Integration, But Clunky Interface"
3/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

I like that Agentforce Marketing is connected to our CRM, Salesforce Sales Cloud, which means I don't have to do a lot of manual data uploads. Having everything in one place is very convenient, and I can build emails directly within Marketing Cloud. I think the HTML builder is decent, and I appreciate that everything is in one place. The connection to Sales Cloud is really beneficial because I don't have to export and reupload data into Marketing Cloud—I can just use a synchronized data extension. Keeping everything in the same ecosystem is nice since if someone opts out of an email in Marketing Cloud, it's automatically reflected in Sales Cloud, eliminating manual work between the systems. It's also nice that there's the ability to integrate directly with other tools, either via the App Store or the AppExchange. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

I think in general, the interface is pretty clunky and hasn't been updated. It definitely feels like it's the last to be updated in the Salesforce ecosystem just how things look how slow the program sometimes can be. I feel like whenever I'm trying to demo the product for someone on a video call, it's always lagging and takes a long time to load. So I think the interface is probably the part that I like the least. A lot of their navigation feels like there are a lot of folders within folders, and it's not always intuitive from a user experience perspective. Also, integrating and setting up a net new marketing cloud instance is very difficult and requires third party consultants and a developer and it's definitely not an easy turn on system. I think that's definitely a pitfall of the program. I definitely always use that as a warning that integrating into your CRM or your other data sources is not very intuitive. It takes a ton of time, a ton of resources, and you definitely need development help or consultancy help in order to stand up and integrate fully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Fast, But Setup Can Be Challenging"
5/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

What I enjoy most about using Agentforce Marketing is how easy it is to use and how intuitive the system can be. The agent understands what I'm looking for and helps me get things done faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

Some of the things that could be improved are the ease of creating new knowledge articles and helping the agent guide answers for new topics. Also, it could assist in spinning up new agents faster or expanding on the agent capabilities more quickly. Also, the initial setup was somewhat of a large lift to get implemented. "Powerful Audience Engagement Tool with Time-Saving Automation"
4/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

It's a powerful tool for communicating with your audiences. You can really create so much if you know how that facilitates engagement and messaging your audience. You can then find out how they are responding or actions they take in response to your communication. Automating manual tasks helps save time and resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

The learning curve is SHARP. It takes awhile to truly understand how data extensions can be used and if you don't know SQL, you're in real trouble (we haven't change to Next yet, hopefully it's better there) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automation and Data Integration That Transformed My Marketing Workflow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

For me, the standout feature is the platform's automation capabilities. Journey Builder, audience segmentation, and trigger-based campaigns are all highly effective when properly configured. While there is an initial learning curve, once you become familiar with the system, it proves to be reliable and requires minimal ongoing maintenance.

Another major strength is its ability to consolidate data from various sources. Using Marketing Cloud together with Data Cloud has truly transformed my workflow. This combination allows me to derive valuable insights, create more intelligent segments, activate audiences, and deliver personalized communications that feel genuinely relevant and purposeful.

I also value the platform's flexibility in supporting different engagement strategies, whether that's through customized email campaigns, account-based marketing, or orchestrating customer journeys. When everything is set up correctly, campaigns operate seamlessly without the need for constant oversight, providing a sense of confidence and consistency in execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

Salesforce Marketing Cloud can feel sometimes complex, especially during initial setup and troubleshooting.

The navigation between studios isn’t very intuitive, and the UI could be simpler.

The dependency on add-on licenses for key features also limits flexibility and slows experimentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Experience, Enhanced Efficiency"
4/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

I like that the tool is a lot easier to use. The user experience has been a lot better than what we experienced with the previous account engagement. It's more streamlined, and it's going to help us with deploying agents and speed up some workflows for efficiency. I really like the integration for segmentation with Data Cloud, as I think that really speeds up the functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

I think the CMS could be improved. The fact that every single item has multiple layers of publishing before sending an email adds to the workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Powerful, But Needs a UI Upgrade"
5/5
What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

I find Agentforce Marketing pretty intuitive and easy to use. I especially like the Journey Builder, as it allows me to create robust and clean journeys for my customers. The STO feature has been huge for my company, as it's really helpful to understand when folks are most likely to engage with an email that works for them and their life. The initial setup was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?

Sometimes the tool moves a little slowly. And sometimes I wish the UI in other areas were more up to date and modern, like in the Tracking and Reports area. Like if I am looking at the backend reporting, it feels and looks like old HTML websites. MC is connected to our data, but not connected to some tools like GA4.
