  ### 1. Dynamic Journey Builder Flows and Powerful Two-Way Email Agents

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Journey Builder's flow capability is what keeps me coming back — the decision splits, wait activities, and ability to branch based on real engagement data let us build genuinely dynamic lifecycle communications instead of one-off blasts. Once the underlying data extensions are set up correctly, it handles complex, multi-path logic reliably at scale.

The other standout for me is the two-way agent capability for email — having agents that can actually parse and respond to inbound replies (not just send outbound) closes a gap that's existed in this platform for a long time. It cuts down on manual triage and lets us build more conversational, responsive customer journeys instead of strictly one-directional sends.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Documentation is not as clear as needed for building agents.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's letting us move from static, scheduled sends to journeys that actually adapt to what a customer does — and now, what they say back. That's cut down on manual follow-up work and made our email program feel a lot less like batch-and-blast.

  ### 2. Agentforce Marketing Makes Campaigns Truly Adaptive and Agentic

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like most about Agentforce Marketing is that it moves marketing from being primarily automation-driven to being truly agentic and adaptive.

Traditional Marketing Cloud can execute journeys based on predefined rules and customer behavior. With Agentforce Marketing, agents can use unified Data 360 context to help identify audiences, create and personalize content, orchestrate journeys, and optimize engagement dynamically.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

One area I would be cautious about with Agentforce Marketing is giving an AI agent too much autonomy too quickly. Marketing decisions can have a direct impact on customer experience and brand reputation, so I would want appropriate human oversight, especially for audience selection, messaging, frequency, and high-impact actions.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I see Agentforce Marketing solving is primarily the fragmentation, scale, and responsiveness problems in traditional marketing.

First, customer data is often spread across marketing, CRM, service, commerce, analytics, and external systems. Agentforce Marketing uses Data 360 as a unified data foundation, so agents can work with a more complete, real-time customer context rather than relying on isolated campaign data. (Salesforce)

Second, traditional journeys are often predefined and linear. Agentforce Marketing can make journeys more adaptive—using customer signals to personalize the audience, content, timing, and next action. That means we’re moving from “send campaign → wait → send next campaign” toward an experience that can respond to what the customer is actually doing. (Salesforce)

Third, there’s a capacity problem. Marketers spend significant time building audiences, creating content, setting up campaigns, monitoring performance, and analyzing results. Agents can assist with or execute many of these activities, allowing marketers to spend more time on strategy, creativity, and business outcomes. (Salesforce)

And finally, it helps address the limitation of one-way communication. Agentforce Marketing is designed to support two-way, contextual conversations across channels rather than treating marketing as simply outbound messaging. (Salesforce)

From my perspective, the benefit is not just automation. The real value is connecting unified data, intelligence, and execution so that marketing can become more personalized, responsive, and scalable.

As a Solution Architect, I would measure the benefit through outcomes such as improved engagement, faster campaign execution, better personalization, reduced manual effort, and stronger alignment between marketing, sales, and service.

What I like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) is its ability to bring customer data, marketing automation, and personalized engagement together in one platform. The integration with the broader Salesforce ecosystem makes it easier to create connected customer journeys across email, mobile, web, and other digital channels. I particularly appreciate the flexibility available for building targeted campaigns and automating repetitive marketing activities, which helps teams save time while maintaining consistent customer communication.

The platform also provides strong segmentation and personalization capabilities, allowing marketers to deliver more relevant experiences based on customer behavior and data. Its analytics and reporting features make it easier to understand campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. ### 4. Intelligent, Personalized Marketing at Scale with Agentforce Marketing

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like most about Agentforce Marketing is how it brings data, automation, and AI together to make marketing more intelligent and actionable. It helps turn customer insights into personalized experiences at scale, while reducing manual effort. I also value the flexibility to build and optimize journeys based on real-time customer behavior, making campaigns more relevant and measurable.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The main challenge is that Agentforce Marketing can feel complex to configure and manage, especially for users who are not highly technical. Some features require multiple steps or specialized knowledge, which can slow down execution. I’d also like to see a more intuitive user experience, simpler integrations, and clearer guidance when troubleshooting issues.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing helps solve the challenge of connecting customer data, campaign execution, and personalization in one ecosystem. It reduces manual processes and makes it easier to activate insights across different customer touchpoints. For me, this means faster campaign execution, more relevant communications, better visibility into performance, and more time to focus on strategy rather than operational tasks.

  ### 5. Streamlined Order Management with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

I like Agentforce Marketing's intuitiveness, which makes it easy to find all the objects I need for my daily tasks. Its user interface experience is great, and I really enjoy the ability to navigate the application quickly. It also helps me seamlessly share information and notify my coworkers whenever an issue arises.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

One of the biggest issues I have with Agentforce Marketing is the integration with Salesforce Build Service, particularly the gap between order management and service or casework management. This often leads to problems like missing materials or incorrect goods being sent to customers, which results in additional costs when we have to ship items back. This gap really affects our workflow, and better integration is needed to prevent these costly mistakes.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Agentforce Marketing to identify leads, turn them into quotes, and manage orders seamlessly, including customized orders. It helps me share information and notify coworkers easily, improving our sales opportunity handling.

  ### 6. Agentforce Links Salesforce Data to Personalized Marketing—Less Manual Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like best is the ability to connect marketing directly to the customer data already in Salesforce. Agentforce creates an opportunity to move beyond traditional campaigns toward more personalized, timely engagement while reducing the manual work required from marketing teams. For nonprofits and associations, that can make a significant difference in how they engage members, donors, and constituents.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The product landscape still feels too fragmented and complicated. It can be difficult to understand which marketing products an organization actually needs, how they work together, and what the true cost will be. I’d like to see a simpler, more unified experience with clearer packaging and a much easier path from implementation to measurable value.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing is helping us connect customer data with engagement so we can deliver more relevant and timely communications. It reduces some of the manual work involved in segmentation, personalization, and campaign execution while giving teams a better understanding of how people are engaging. The benefit is more meaningful outreach, greater efficiency, and the ability to scale personalization without simply sending more messages.

  ### 7. Deep platform with a real learning curve - worth it once you commit

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tommy S. | Co-Founder | Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The depth is what keeps me coming back. Between SQL query activities, AMPscript and the API layer, there are very few requirements I cannot build. When a client asks for something genuinely specific, the platform almost always has a way, and that is not true of most marketing tools I have worked with.

Data Extensions are underrated. Not being locked to a CRM schema means we can model marketing data the way the use case actually needs it, which makes complex segmentation and dynamic content far more workable.

Automation Studio has been dependable at scale for us. Once a nightly setup of queries, imports and sends is configured properly, it runs. And Journey Builder handles genuine lifecycle logic rather than just simple drip sequences, which matters once you are past the basics.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The platform feels like several products stitched together across different eras, and it shows. Email Studio and Content Builder overlap in confusing ways, navigation is inconsistent between studios, and the same concept is often named differently depending on where you are standing.

It is also sold as marketer friendly, and in practice it is not. Getting real value out of it requires SQL and AMPscript, so teams either hire a developer or work at a fraction of the platform's capability. That gap should be communicated far more honestly during the sales process.

Error handling is my biggest daily frustration. When an automation fails, the message is often too vague to act on, and tracing what actually happened takes far longer than it should.

Integration with Salesforce core has also historically been more fragile than you would expect from two products from the same vendor.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of my clients come to us with the same situation: marketing communication is fragmented across systems, sends are triggered manually, and nobody can say with confidence who received what or why. Consent is often tracked in one place and acted on in another, which is a real risk rather than just an inconvenience.

Marketing Cloud Engagement solves that by being the execution layer where data, logic and sending finally live together. Data Extensions let us model the data the way the use case needs, Automation Studio handles the nightly plumbing without anyone touching it, and Journey Builder turns lifecycle logic into something that actually runs rather than something described in a slide deck.

The concrete benefit for our clients is that communication scales without headcount scaling with it. Campaigns that used to require manual list handling now run on their own, and marketing teams spend their time on content and strategy instead of exports and imports. The audit trail also matters more than people expect - being able to show exactly what was sent to whom, and on what consent basis, has made compliance conversations much shorter.

  ### 8. Agentforce Marketing’s Advanced Journey Builder Powers Personalized Omnichannel Campaigns

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

As a Marketing Automation Strategist with experience in highly regulated industries (like Pharma) and E-commerce, what I appreciate most about Agentforce Marketing is its advanced Journey Builder capabilities. It allows for the creation of highly personalized, compliant omnichannel campaigns at scale. The ability to leverage AI for audience segmentation and seamlessly integrate complex data points across the entire customer lifecycle is unmatched.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Because it is an enterprise-grade platform, the initial setup for complex data architectures can be quite daunting. Integrating external databases and configuring advanced personalization logic requires specialized technical knowledge and a steep learning curve compared to simpler, out-of-the-box marketing tools. You need a dedicated expert to truly unlock its full ROI.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the challenge of executing complex automated workflows and maintaining strict data tracking and audience segmentation for international campaigns. By leveraging AI Marketing Agents, it allows us to deliver personalized journeys at scale while ensuring data integrity. This drastically reduces manual tasks and provides clear visibility into campaign performance, facilitating operational control and cross-functional collaboration.

  ### 9. Seamless Marketing on the Salesforce Platform with Unified Data and AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 一希 . | 課長, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Marketing, especially Marketing Cloud Next, is how naturally it brings marketing onto the core Salesforce Platform. Customer data from Data 360, CRM data, Flow, and Agentforce can work together in the same ecosystem, making it easier to connect marketing activities with the broader customer journey. I also like that marketers can build audiences, campaigns, and personalized experiences while taking advantage of the same data, automation, security, and AI capabilities used across Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I dislike most about Agentforce Marketing, especially Marketing Cloud Next, is that the product is still evolving quickly. Some capabilities, implementation patterns, and best practices are not yet as mature or well established as those of the legacy Marketing Cloud products. Designing the data model, integration with Data 360, and migration from existing marketing solutions can therefore require significant upfront planning and specialized knowledge.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing, especially Marketing Cloud Next, helps solve the problem of marketing activities being disconnected from CRM and customer data. By bringing audience segmentation, campaign execution, customer data, automation, and AI into the Salesforce ecosystem, it becomes easier to create more consistent and personalized customer journeys. This reduces data silos, improves collaboration between marketing and sales teams, and helps us turn customer data into more timely and relevant engagement.

  ### 10. I love Marketing Cloud

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

My favorite tool in all of salesforce is Journey Builder.
Overall what I like best is how much flexibility it gives us to build targeted, automated communications around actual behavior and business processes. Once we got the data and audience setup right, we're able to create some pretty sophisticated journeys without everything needing to be a custom development project.

I also like how closely it can work with Salesforce data. For us, that connection is a big part of the value because we can use information already living in Salesforce to drive communications instead of managing everything in separate systems.

It has a learning curve, but once you understand how the pieces fit together, it is a very powerful tool.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

A lot of things feel more complicated than they probably need to be, especially when you are first learning how Data Extensions, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Salesforce data all work together. It is very powerful, but it was daunting at first.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us move away from one-off, manual communications and toward more automated, targeted outreach based on where someone is in their journey with us.

For example, we can build communications around admissions, enrollment, payment reminders, and other student lifecycle events using data we already have in Salesforce. That saves staff time, creates a more consistent experience, and makes it easier to reach the right audience with the right message at the right time.

The biggest benefit for me is that it gives us a way to scale communication without having to scale the amount of manual work along with it.

  ### 11. A Smarter Path to Real-Time, Context-Aware Personalization at Scale

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maham H. | Salesforce Solutions Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like most about Agentforce Marketing is that it addresses something I’ve seen repeatedly in enterprise implementations: marketing teams have plenty of data, but turning that data into timely, meaningful action is still hard.

Coming from a Salesforce architecture background, I find the connection between Data 360, Marketing, and Agentforce particularly interesting. Instead of designing another set of rigid segments and journeys, I can start thinking about how an agent can use real-time customer context to decide what should happen next and help execute it.

What excites me personally is the potential to move marketing from “we designed a journey for this segment” to “the platform understands this customer’s current context and adapts the engagement accordingly.” That feels like a much more natural evolution of personalization.

For me, the real value isn’t simply AI generating campaigns or content—it’s connecting customer intelligence to actual decisions and actions at scale.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I find most challenging is that **the AI experience can be only as good as the marketing data and underlying journey architecture**. In the enterprise environments I’ve worked with, customer data is often fragmented, consent rules vary by market, and marketing journeys can contain years of accumulated business logic. Adding agents on top of that can introduce another layer of complexity.

I also think there is still a gap between the **promise of autonomous marketing and the level of control marketers need in real-world campaigns**. Marketers need clear visibility into why an agent made a recommendation, what data it used, what action it took, and how that action can be governed or reversed.

From an architect’s perspective, I’d like to see **simpler cross-cloud orchestration, stronger end-to-end observability, and more granular governance for agent-driven actions**, particularly around customer consent, frequency limits, and multi-channel experiences.

The opportunity is huge, but I think the product will become significantly more compelling as **AI flexibility and enterprise-grade control become easier to balance**.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, Agentforce Marketing is solving the problem of turning large volumes of customer data into timely, personalized marketing actions without creating increasingly complex manual journeys.

In the Salesforce architectures I’ve worked with, marketing teams often have customer data spread across multiple systems and spend significant effort building segments, designing journeys, coordinating campaigns, and reacting to customer behavior. Agentforce Marketing has the potential to reduce that operational overhead by combining Data 360, AI, automation, and marketing execution.

The biggest benefit I see is the ability to move from static, predefined journeys toward more dynamic engagement. Instead of designing every possible customer scenario upfront, agents can use customer context and behavior to help determine the appropriate next action while operating within defined business and governance rules.

From my perspective as an architect, that means I can focus less on building endless point-to-point processes and more on designing the data, decisioning, integration, and governance foundations that allow intelligent marketing experiences to operate at scale.

  ### 12. High-Volume Email Handling with Seamless Salesforce Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natashia M. | Senior Salesforce Platform Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Source: G2 invite on behalf of seller:** Invitation from G2 on behalf of a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

It handles high volume emails and other notifications from the same platform that holds the lead and contacts, which means less issues like I have experienced with companies who have other platforms such as Hubspot. Reports and Analytics are all at the tip of your fingers since all the data remains within Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Many companies I work for didnt want to make the switch due to high cost. I also feel like you need a developer to get it up and running and for certain updates after that. Also the sync back to Sales Cloud is a bit laggy and sometimes just fails all together.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending mass emails through many platforms can be tricky and the data being updated and accurate to and from Salesforce isnt always great. Marketing Cloud helps resolve that issue which as an admin frees up time to work on other projects and builds.

  ### 13. Agent force Helps Us Respond to Customer Emails Faster

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Agent force help with responding the customer queries via email and also to answer the questions. What most of the customers commonly have through the agents. It’s always useful instead of because of support. Engineer cannot give response to everyone at the same time with a much faster space, but with agent force is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Sometimes the information provided by the agent might not be hundred percent irrelevant might be of the track a little bit, but most of the times, it’s really good and gives the response well

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Measure part of the solving problem is responding to the customer questions which are pretty basic to multiple ones and also giving response via emails and also mark the ad in different types, sending a promotional emails to the customers in a different way instead of a single template

  ### 14. AI-Powered Personalization That Leverages Salesforce Customer Data

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

It combines AI-powered personalization with Salesforce’s customer data platform.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The main thing I dislike is how complex the platform can be. There’s a steep learning curve, especially when you’re trying to set up more advanced journeys, integrations, data models, and automation. Troubleshooting problems can also take a lot of time, and some features seem to require extra configuration or specialized expertise to get working properly. Overall, I wish the experience were more intuitive and easier for day-to-day users to manage.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing helps address the complexity of managing customer data, journeys, integrations, and marketing automation within a single platform. It streamlines campaign setup, improves coordination across channels, and reduces the need for manual processes or specialized technical expertise. ### 15. Powerful Automation, but Demands Clean Data and Careful AI Agent Oversight

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

I like that Agentforce Marketing can automate repetitive marketing tasks and use customer data to create more personalized interactions. It can help teams work faster while still making campaigns and customer communications feel more relevant.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I dislike is that the quality of the results depends heavily on having clean, well-organized data and properly configured processes. There is also a learning curve when setting up and managing AI agents, and you still need human oversight to make sure the output is accurate and appropriate.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing solves the problem of marketers spending too much time on repetitive tasks while trying to personalize customer experiences. It uses AI and customer data to automate tasks, create more relevant content and interactions, and help marketing teams engage customers at scale without having to manually manage every step.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like about Marketing Cloud is that it lets me build a clear path forward for my campaigns, with a well-defined process flow and direction. I also like being able to schedule things— even through Salesforce— so they go out at a specific time.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

It’s a tough tool to navigate. It can feel complex and difficult, and I’m not sure what I need to do to really understand it. I wish there were a personalized trainer who could break it down for me more and help it make sense.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us figure out how to run our campaigns and which audiences we should be targeting. For our sales reps, it makes things much easier because they can quickly see who we should go after first.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

It connects seamlessly with Sales Cloud and gives sales reps great visibility into what their customers are engaging with. They also get the data they need to follow up when someone shows interest in an email or campaign, which has proven to reduce the time it takes for a sale to take place.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

To really get the ROI from this product, we had to hire a dedicated resource to manage it. Now that we have that person in place, it’s showing its value very quickly.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we implemented Marketing Cloud, we had little to no visibility into how much each lead was costing us or how much we needed to spend to make a sale. Now we have that data, and it’s been a huge deal for us.

The next generation of Marketing Cloud is here, and it's better than ever. Now it lives inside Hyperforce, where Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce and Data 360 live. Its native integration to Data 360 allows it to work through unified profiles for segmentation, and its Flow Builder surpasses what Journey Builder could do before.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

It has come a long way. At the beginning, it missed the target, but they’ve continued adding features that let it grow into something bigger than a 1-to-1 translation of what SFMC Engagement can do. Now you need to learn Data 360 to truly activate the platform and get the most out of it.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining a healthy platform that helps you remember where those steps were. Now it has higher standards.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Multi-featured email marketing system that includes content management, integration with Salesforce Sales Cloud, and configurable automation. We highly utilize email Journey's to setup campaign's containing multiple emails with business logic for segmentation and personalization. We use this tool often and partner between our Marketing and IT staff to get the most out of it. Customer Support is good with their Enterprise plan. Bulk email is very reliable. We also use a postal mail plug-in from PFL (Printing For Less) enabling email and direct postal mail marketing from a single journey.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The software is quirky. Not as easy to use as I would like. It groups functionality into various "studios" (like email studio, mobile studio, web studio, automation studio, etc.) with little commonality in the UI among them. Some functions (like Automation Studio) require some technical expertise (like SQL programming) to get the most out of them. In When adding logic to Journeys (e.g. Decision Splits) you have to be careful to specifically account for blank fields similar to the way you handle null fields in SQL. Sometimes sessions hang and I have to log out and log back in to continue working.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bulk email marketing with personalization and automation. Direct integration with Agentforce Sales.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

I dislike Salesforce Marketing Cloud because it can be complex to set up and manage, especially for new users. The interface and different tools can feel disconnected, and some tasks require more technical knowledge than expected.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like most about Agentforce Marketing is the range of tools available for managing and automating marketing activities from one platform. It makes it easier to organize audiences, create targeted campaigns, manage customer journeys, and track engagement. I also like how it connects with the wider Salesforce ecosystem, allowing marketing activities to make use of customer data from other Salesforce solutions. The ability to automate repetitive marketing tasks while still keeping campaigns personalized is particularly useful.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The platform offers a lot of functionality, but that can also make it feel complex when getting started. Some features and configurations take time to understand, particularly when setting up more advanced journeys or automation. Managing a large number of campaigns and audience segments can also require good organization. A more streamlined onboarding experience and simpler guidance for common marketing scenarios would make the platform easier for new users.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing helps solve the challenge of managing customer engagement and marketing activities across multiple channels and tools. It provides a more centralized way to manage audiences, campaigns, customer journeys, and marketing automation, which reduces the amount of manual work involved in running campaigns. Having customer data connected with marketing activities also makes it easier to create more relevant and personalized communication. Overall, it helps improve campaign efficiency, audience targeting, and visibility into customer engagement.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like most about Agentforce Marketing is that it lets me manage campaigns, customer data, and marketing automation all in one platform. This makes it much easier to segment audiences, personalize communications, automate campaigns, and track results in a more organized way. I also appreciate how it integrates with other Salesforce tools, since that provides a more complete view of customer interactions and helps the marketing team work more efficiently overall.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The platform can be complex to learn and configure, especially when you’re trying to set up advanced automation and customer journeys. Handling large volumes of data alongside multiple campaigns also takes careful planning and organization to keep everything manageable. Pricing can get expensive as the number of users and contacts grows, or as you add more advanced features, and some capabilities may require additional technical expertise to implement and maintain.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing helps solve the challenge of managing customer data, campaigns, and communications across multiple channels. It allows us to automate marketing workflows, segment audiences, personalize customer interactions, and track campaign performance from one platform. This reduces manual effort, improves targeting and engagement, and gives our team better visibility into marketing results so we can make more informed decisions.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What stands out most is how effectively it bridges the gap between massive data pools and real-time, context-driven action.
For years, enterprise marketing teams have struggled with having plenty of data siloed across systems, but turning that information into timely, meaningful engagement has remained a heavy lift. What makes the platform compelling is the shift from rigid, static, predefined campaigns toward dynamic orchestration. Instead of manually mapping out every single customer scenario upfront, leveraging native AI and unified data architecture allows the system to understand a customer's current context and adapt the next-best action on the fly—all while staying tightly aligned with core CRM data and governance rules.
It moves the focus away from wrestling with point-to-point integrations and endless data passing, enabling architects and marketers to concentrate on building robust data foundations, intelligent decisioning, and seamless cross-channel experiences at scale.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The most persistent friction point centers on architectural complexity and the overhead required to maintain data hygiene at scale.
While the platform is powerful, a few challenges consistently surface during implementation and ongoing administration:
Data Model Fragmentation: Even with unified data initiatives, bridging legacy data structures (like traditional Marketing Cloud data extensions) with modern core CRM data models often requires rigorous custom mapping, complex synchronization rules, and careful handling of primary keys to avoid duplication or sync lags.
Debugging and Visibility: When automated orchestration or decisioning logic fails to fire or sends an unexpected output, tracing the exact root cause across asynchronous processing layers, triggers, and external integrations can be notoriously opaque.
Integration Overhead: Connecting third-party point solutions or managing custom API payloads often demands heavy maintenance whenever underlying schemas change, pulling developer bandwidth away from building new features.
Steep Learning Curve for Advanced Logic: Transitioning teams from traditional rule-based journey building to advanced, autonomous, or AI-driven orchestration requires a significant shift in technical literacy, governance, and testing strategies to prevent unintended customer experiences.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing addresses several core bottlenecks that have historically plagued enterprise marketing operations:
Fragmented Data and Static Silos: Traditional marketing tools often struggle to unify live operational data with engagement histories. The platform solves this by leaning on a unified data layer (Data Cloud/Data 360) to ground campaigns in real-time context without requiring heavy manual ETL work or duplicate data storage.
The "Blank Page" and Campaign Velocity Bottleneck: Building cross-channel campaigns, writing targeted variations, and configuring multi-step journeys traditionally required immense manual overhead. The platform uses native AI (like the Agentforce Campaign Designer) to assist with rapid content drafting, audience segmentation, and automated experiment paths.
Rigid Outbound-Only Messaging: Moving away from static, one-way "do-not-reply" batch blasts, the platform introduces autonomous, event-driven orchestration that adapts customer journeys dynamically based on ongoing behavior and two-way channel engagement (such as SMS or WhatsApp).
How It Benefits Your Workflow
From a technical and architectural perspective, these capabilities shift the day-to-day focus away from tedious, mechanical overhead:
Eliminating Custom Integration Friction: Instead of writing custom point-to-point APIs or managing complex data synchronization bridges to align core CRM data with marketing activities, a unified framework minimizes the plumbing required to get systems talking.
Accelerating Delivery Timelines: By relying on automated journey generation, dynamic content rules, and native orchestration tools, you can spin up complex, multi-touch campaigns in a fraction of the time it takes to code or map them manually.
Focusing on High-Value Architecture: Rather than spending hours troubleshooting why data sync lags or manually adjusting static segmentation rules, you can spend your time on core data foundations, advanced logic governance, and designing resilient, scalable customer experiences.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I really appreciate is how natively it ties into the rest of our Salesforce environment. We don't have to build and maintain brittle API hooks just to get CRM data into our messaging flows. With the recent Agentforce updates and Data 360 integration, we can finally trigger cross-channel journeys based on real-time events rather than waiting around for overnight batch syncs to finish. Automation Studio is super robust once you learn its quirks, and letting our ops team orchestrate email, SMS, and push notifications all from one place cuts down on a lot of platform fatigue.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

It is absolutely not a plug-and-play tool. The initial setup is notoriously heavy, especially if you are dealing with complex enterprise data models or strict security guardrails. If you don't map out your data extensions and attribute groups perfectly from day one, you'll end up spending weeks untangling the mess later. AMPscript is highly capable but comes with a steep learning curve, and tracking down the root cause of an obscure error isn't always easy since the documentation can be spotty. You also have to watch your consumption credits closely, because a poorly optimized automated journey can rack up costs incredibly fast.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary bottleneck we faced was relying on fragmented data sources and slow, overnight batch jobs to trigger customer communications. This meant our outreach was often delayed and required constant engineering support to maintain custom API hooks. Agentforce Marketing solves this by enabling us to orchestrate omnichannel journeys across email, SMS, and search ads from a unified platform based on real-time data events natively within the Salesforce ecosystem. By leveraging AI for dynamic audience segmentation and targeted messaging, marketing teams are no longer dependent on IT or data ops to manually pull refined lists. The biggest benefit is a massive reduction in operational overhead; our marketing organization can now automate repetitive workflows and launch highly personalized campaigns autonomously, cutting out the manual steps that used to cause severe platform fatigue.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The biggest strength is the platform’s depth and just how much you can do across email, journeys, segmentation, automation, and personalisation. It gives marketing teams a lot of flexibility to design and run sophisticated customer journeys, and its connection to the wider Salesforce ecosystem is a major advantage when you want sales and marketing data to work together seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

It can be fairly complex to set up, manage, and learn, especially when compared with lighter-weight marketing platforms. Parts of the experience feel less intuitive than they could be, and getting the most out of the platform often requires specialist knowledge. While the breadth of functionality is a real strength, it also brings more administration and configuration than I’d expect for relatively simple use cases.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing helps us manage customer communications, campaigns, and journeys in a more connected and coordinated way. It brings customer data and marketing activity together so we can segment audiences, automate communications, and deliver more relevant experiences at different stages of the customer journey.

The biggest benefit for us is being able to run more complex marketing activity at scale while keeping everything closely tied to Salesforce. This gives us clearer visibility across marketing and sales, cuts down on some of the manual work involved in campaign management, and helps us use customer data more effectively when deciding who to communicate with, and when.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

I really appreciate the reports that can be set up to be generated on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. It is so much easier to get a report in the Inbox instead of having to sign into the platform and pull it manually each time.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The only complaint I have, which is a small one, is that using the "back" button can disable the platform. You must always click into what you needed to get back, versus using the back button. This is a small complaint, but worth mentioning as using the back button is a common thing.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding a fast and effective way to set up automations was important to the business, and on top of being fast it also needed to be accurate. The automated reporting allows the team to see quickly on a daily basis the counts of each journey/automation, allowing us to immediately flag if there is a drop it counts which could mean a potential issue. The combination of setting up journeys/automations easily and also having the daily report to keep tabs on them is a game changer!

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Marketing is its ability to connect customer data, AI-powered personalization, and journey automation within the broader Salesforce ecosystem. It enables teams to deliver relevant, consistent experiences across channels while reducing manual work and providing clear visibility into customer engagement and campaign performance.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I dislike most is the platform’s complexity. Implementation, integrations, data management, and journey troubleshooting often require specialized expertise. The user experience can also feel fragmented across modules, and costs can increase quickly as additional capabilities and support are needed.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing helps solve fragmented customer data, disconnected channel execution, and manual campaign management. It allows us to automate customer journeys, personalize communications, and coordinate engagement across channels from a centralized platform. This benefits us by reducing operational effort, improving targeting and consistency, accelerating campaign launches, and providing better visibility into performance and customer behavior.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

I like how much you can manage in one place, especially customer journeys, audience segmentation and automated campaigns. The Salesforce integration is probably the biggest advantage because it makes it easier to connect customer data with actual marketing activity and personalize campaigns at scale.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The biggest downside for me is the learning curve. There are a lot of capabilities, but some workflows feel more complicated than they need to be and the interface isn’t always intuitive. Setting things up correctly can take time, especially if you’re newer to the platform.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps reduce some of the manual work that goes into building and managing campaigns. The AI capabilities make it easier to work with customer data, identify audiences and move from insights to campaign execution faster. For me, the biggest benefit is saving time while still being able to personalize marketing at scale.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Based on my background in marketing analytics and data processing, especially my experience at Kantar, I would say I am very likely to recommend Salesforce Marketing Cloud to a friend or colleague.

At Kantar, I worked extensively with complex datasets, survey scripting, validation logic, and statistical analysis. That experience made me value structured data environments, strong segmentation capabilities, and reliable automation. Salesforce Marketing Cloud supports exactly that type of analytical and data driven marketing infrastructure.

In my marketing analyst roles, I also worked on customer behavior analysis, acquisition funnels, multi channel attribution, and A B testing. For organizations operating at scale, Salesforce Marketing Cloud offers the depth needed for personalization, customer journey orchestration, and performance measurement.

From a data and performance marketing perspective, I would confidently recommend it, especially for companies with a mature data strategy that require an integrated and enterprise level solution.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

From my analytical and data driven perspective, what I dislike most about Salesforce Marketing Cloud is its complexity.

Given my experience working with structured datasets, scripting, and statistical analysis at Kantar, I appreciate powerful systems, but Salesforce Marketing Cloud can feel overly complicated for teams that do not have strong technical expertise. The learning curve is steep, and without proper onboarding, it can slow down execution instead of improving efficiency.

Another drawback is that customization and integrations often require technical support or specialized knowledge. For marketing teams that want agility and fast experimentation, this can be limiting.

So while I value its depth and enterprise capabilities, I think usability and accessibility could be improved, especially for mid sized teams that need flexibility without heavy technical dependency.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Marketing Cloud solves the problem of fragmented customer data and disconnected marketing activities across channels. In many organizations, customer information sits in different systems, which makes it difficult to create a consistent and personalized customer experience.

From my experience in marketing analytics and data processing, especially working with structured datasets and customer behavior analysis, one of the biggest challenges is turning raw data into actionable and automated campaigns. Salesforce Marketing Cloud centralizes data, enables advanced segmentation, and allows automated customer journeys based on real time behaviors.

For me, this is beneficial because it supports a more data driven approach to decision making. Instead of manually extracting data, cleaning it, and preparing separate reports, the platform allows structured data flows, performance tracking, and measurable campaign optimization. It connects analytics with execution.

Ultimately, it helps bridge the gap between data analysis and marketing action, which aligns well with my analytical background and focus on performance measurement

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

The best thing about this platform is that it is helping us right from centralising and automating our customer engagement efforts across our multiple channels. Rather than managing separate tools for email, SMS, customer journeys, and audience segmentation, we can personalised campaign right from a single platform. Overall, this platform also helped us in improving our ability to deliver the right message at the right time with the right customer data for better targeting and engagement for our marketing activities. This platform also had a strong data architecture along with an intuitive user design interface.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Some of their disadvantages and challenges, I would say is their complex learning curve where uncertain advanced functions meet SQL knowledge, uncertain advanced scripts like amp is bit technical for non-technical marketers. The initial implementation will be resource-intensive to understand and set up for the individual business requirements. Also, troubleshooting and debugging journeys sometimes require specialist expertise as well, and pricing is also expensive when we are going to add multiple modules in the system.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform helps us in solving the problem of having an automated lead nurturing campaigns to delivering a personalised life cycle communications, this is also very much helpful to give us a clarity across or cross functional teams on our lead acquisition to lead handling on every single stage on a deal pipeline and what sort of workflows have been implemented how long with the customer engagement activities, sales pipeline very much effective this platform is a go to I would say.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I like best about Agentforce Marketing is the ability to connect customer data, segmentation, automation, and reporting in one platform. It gives marketing teams the tools to create more personalized and strategic customer journeys instead of relying on generic batch-and-blast campaigns.

I also like that it supports both efficiency and smarter decision-making. Teams can automate repetitive work, test and optimize campaigns, and use data to better understand how customers are engaging. When the platform is set up well, it can be a powerful engine for more relevant, timely, and effective marketing.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

What I dislike most about Agentforce Marketing is that the platform can feel overly complex, especially when setup, governance, or documentation is not strong. There is a lot of power in the tool, but that also means teams need clear processes, clean data, and knowledgeable admins to use it effectively.

It can also be difficult for non-technical users to understand how everything connects, which sometimes slows down adoption or makes troubleshooting harder than it should be. The platform is strongest when it is well-maintained, but it can become frustrating quickly when data, permissions, or processes are inconsistent.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing helps solve the challenge of managing customer communications, segmentation, automation, and reporting across multiple audiences and campaigns. The biggest benefit is efficiency. It allows marketing teams to automate repeatable work, use data to make smarter campaign decisions, and better understand how customers are interacting with our content. When the platform is organized well, it helps turn marketing from a collection of one-off sends into a more strategic, connected customer experience.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

As a Senior Email Developer, I’ve worked with a variety of marketing platforms throughout my career, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud has consistently been one of the most powerful and reliable tools I’ve used. With the addition of Agentforce Marketing, the platform has become even more valuable by helping streamline tasks that would normally require significant time and effort.

What I appreciate most is how Agentforce assists with content creation, audience strategy, and campaign optimization while still allowing me to maintain control over the final customer experience. It helps accelerate the planning and execution process, which allows me to focus more on strategy, testing, and creating engaging customer journeys.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s robust segmentation, automation, and personalization capabilities make it easy to deliver relevant messaging to the right audience. As someone who develops and manages email campaigns daily, I also value how well the platform integrates data and customer insights to create more meaningful interactions across channels.

The combination of Marketing Cloud and Agentforce has helped improve efficiency, spark new ideas, and support better marketing outcomes. It’s exciting to see AI being used in a way that genuinely enhances the work marketers do every day rather than replacing it. I would highly recommend Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Agentforce Marketing to any organization looking to create more personalized customer experiences and empower their marketing teams to work smarter.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

With every platform there are glitches that can happen at random so that’s the only fault.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing helps solve several challenges that marketers face every day, including managing large amounts of customer data, creating personalized content at scale, and finding ways to work more efficiently without sacrificing quality. As a Senior Email Developer, I often work with complex customer journeys, audience segmentation, and campaign execution timelines. Agentforce helps simplify many of these processes by providing AI-powered assistance that can accelerate content creation, campaign planning, and audience insights.

One of the biggest benefits for me is the time savings. Tasks that traditionally required extensive research, brainstorming, or manual effort can now be completed more quickly, allowing me to focus on strategy, testing, and optimizing the customer experience. Agentforce also helps uncover insights from customer data that may have otherwise been overlooked, leading to more informed marketing decisions.

Another challenge it addresses is personalization at scale. Delivering relevant content to different audience segments can be difficult, especially when managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. Agentforce helps make personalization more accessible and efficient, which can improve customer engagement and campaign performance.

Overall, Agentforce Marketing is helping bridge the gap between data, creativity, and execution. It allows me to work more productively, make better use of customer insights, and deliver more impactful marketing campaigns while reducing the manual effort required to get there.

**What do you like best about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

I really like the API integration capabilities and customization of the data structures in Agentforce Marketing. The journey builder experience and interface are particularly impressive; it's fast and reliable, and our staff learned it quickly. They can handle complex structures easily through a visual interface, which makes explaining what's happening to non-marketers much easier. The move from Acoustic to Agentforce Marketing was worthwhile because it's more robust and easy to use, with more features and integration options. The SQL query capabilities are cleaner and more advanced, assisting with auditing. Additionally, Marketing Cloud with Shield helps us stay compliant more easily.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

Setting up a journey is very disjointed and clunky. It has a lot of points of failure, which means testing is extensive and complex. Streamlining the automations, data creation, content creation, and journey programming into one process in one tab would reduce clicks.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Agentforce Marketing facilitates our marketing automation and intelligence, offering more robust features and integration options. Its SQL query capabilities aid in auditing and compliance, making processes easier.

The Journey Builder stands out for adding different functionality, including Einstein score engagement, and helps in segmenting paths, building in wait times, and specific criteria. It optimizes reaching customers, ensuring we send the right message at the right time, which definitely aids in conversion and overall customer engagement. The setup was very easy, super intuitive, and it wasn't too complex to import and export whatever we needed.
