Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) is a robust platform that offers a wide range of tools and features designed to enhance partner engagement and drive business growth. As a Salesforce CRM user, I had high expectations for the PRM module, and I must say, it did not disappoint.

One of the standout features of Salesforce PRM is its ease of use. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for both partners and internal teams to navigate and utilize the platform effectively. Additionally, the platform offers a high degree of customization, allowing us to tailor the system to meet our specific needs and workflows.

Another key strength of Salesforce PRM is its comprehensive set of features. In terms of customer support, Salesforce has been exceptional. Their team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we get the most out of the platform. **What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

One limitation of Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) is its pricing structure, which can be prohibitive for small to medium-sized businesses. The cost of implementing and maintaining the PRM module, especially when factoring in additional customization and support, can be a significant barrier for companies with limited budgets. This pricing model may make it difficult for some organizations to fully leverage the benefits of Salesforce PRM, potentially limiting its accessibility and effectiveness for a broader range of businesses.

**What problems is Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solves several key challenges related to managing partner relationships and driving channel sales effectiveness. Here are some of the problems it addresses and how it benefits users:

2. **Improved Collaboration**: PRM facilitates better collaboration between internal teams and partners by providing tools for sharing information, tracking progress, and managing joint initiatives. This leads to more effective partnerships and faster deal closures.

3. **Enhanced Partner Engagement**: By providing partners with access to important resources such as sales and marketing materials, training materials, and deal registration tools, PRM helps to increase partner engagement and loyalty.

4. **Better Visibility and Reporting**: PRM offers robust analytics and reporting capabilities that provide visibility into partner performance, deal pipeline, and overall channel health. This allows organizations to make informed decisions and optimize their channel strategy for better results.

5. **Scalability and Flexibility**: Salesforce PRM is highly scalable and can be easily customized to meet the specific needs of different businesses and industries. This flexibility allows organizations to adapt the platform to their unique partner management requirements.

Overall, Salesforce PRM helps businesses to streamline partner management, improve collaboration, and drive channel sales growth. By addressing these key challenges, PRM enables organizations to build stronger partner relationships and achieve greater success in their channel sales efforts.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

One thing that is better if improved, the user experience and simplicity. Some features can feel complex for new users, especially during on boarding. One of the main areas for improvement is making the experience more user-friendly, especially for new partners. Simple navigation, faster onboarding, cleaner dashboard, easy reporting, and better performance are needed.

I use Salesforce Partner Cloud to manage our partner ecosystem, improving collaboration and alignment. The single partner portal consolidates tools for training, deals, and communication, making partner access seamless.

I really like how easy it makes working with partners in one place. Partners can access only what they need, which keeps things secure while still making collaboration smooth. ### 5. Effortless Partner Management and Streamlined Deal Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shobhit D. | Research Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

What I like best about the Salesforce Partner Cloud is honestly how much easier it makes working with all our different partners. Instead of bouncing around a million emails and spreadsheets, everything is in one place.
The biggest win for me is the visibility. I can quickly look at the dashboard and see exactly where all the deals are and who's working on what. The automated stuff, like registering a new deal or getting an approval, saves a ton of time and cuts out the annoying back-and-forth.
I also really like the training materials and content library. It makes it simple to get new partners up to speed without me having to personally walk them through everything every time. It just feels more organized and professional, which helps us all close deals faster and build better relationships.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

Honestly, the main things that bug me about the Salesforce Partner Cloud usually come down to two things: how complicated it can be and the price tag.
For one, it's a beast of a system. The learning curve is pretty steep. Even for someone who's decent with computers, it takes a while to figure out where everything is and how to use it right. Setting it up the way you actually want it can be a real headache and usually means you have to bring in an expensive expert to get it right.
The other big issue is the cost. It feels like you're paying a lot for features you might not even touch, and if you need any extra bells and whistles, the price just keeps climbing. Sometimes the system can also be a bit slow and clunky, which is really frustrating when you're trying to quickly close a deal. Creating custom reports can also be surprisingly difficult and less intuitive than it should be.

**What problems is Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It mainly solves the mess of having information and communications scattered everywhere. Before using it, tracking partner activity was often manual and disjointed, leading to missed opportunities and wasted time. The main benefits for us are that everything is now in one place, so partners and our internal teams can access the same, up-to-date data like pricing and product specs without having to ask around. The automated deal registration and lead routing mean leads don't get lost, and everyone knows which deals to focus on, which helps us close deals much faster. The platform also includes training and enablement tools that get partners up to speed quicker, meaning less time spent on training and more time selling. Finally, we can see in real-time how partners are performing using dashboards and reports, which helps us make better decisions about where to invest our resources.

  ### 6. Salesforce Partner Cloud Makes It Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey J. | Services Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

I love how it pulls everything partner-related into one spot, from getting new folks on board to seeing how they're performing – it just makes working with partners so much smoother. Plus, it really greases the wheels for sales, making things like deal registration and co-selling way easier, which means more revenue for us.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

It's a beast to learn and set up; seriously, it can eat up a lot of time, especially if you're not a huge operation. And let's be real, it's not cheap to get going, and sometimes I wish I could tweak it more to fit our exact needs.

**What problems is Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, it's totally fixed the mess of scattered communication and trying to keep everyone on the same page across our partner network by giving us one central hub. It also makes tracking partner performance and sales in real-time super easy, so I finally have a clear view and better control over everything.

  ### 7. Great Channel Centralization, but Setup and Costs Are Challenging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adriano K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

I like the way it completely centralizes the channel. Features like Deal Registration and the shared Opportunity pipeline are excellent because they make it easy for us to collaborate with partners and give them the resources they need to sell our stuff.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

The main downside is definitely the setup complexity and licensing cost structure. Getting the sharing rules and data visibility just right for external partner users is a massive administrative headache, and the price jumps when you scale up can be tough to manag

**What problems is Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved: Channel conflict and poor resource access for our partners. Before, everyone was guessing on lead status and using outdated documents.

Benefit: We now have Deal Registration to protect our partners' work, and a single hub for sales enablement (training, co-marketing materials). This makes them much more effective and motivated, which boosts our overall channel revenue

Some integrations are not clean like MDF which needs a lot of customization.
MIgration from PRM and PEM is not simple.

Scale the business through partner sales by managing funds via the MDF process and enabling partners to submit deals through the deal registration process. Overall, it helps streamline and automate the partner process end to end.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

What’s most helpful resource to me is how I can implement integrations that an be set up with ease. I use saleforce every single day for my day to day activities and contact strategies. There are multiple features I can use within the platform to communicate with my customers from emails, calls, to text messages. **What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

Salesforce PRM is a streamlined way for multiple teams to communicate the progress of an account. It contains information such as onboarding, customer communications, customer temperature, and renewal opportunities. Our team uses this at least every week. They have excellent customer support. Salesforce PRM is a well known platform, so it is easy to implement among teams and seamlessly integrate into a workflow.

If Salesforce PRM is not integrated with other tools a company is using, the platform can be siloed. The information cannot be shared amongst cross functional teams that do not use Salesforce. This platform is most effectively used if there is an API to different platforms used by other teams.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura C. | Marketing Affiliate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

What I like best about Salesforce PRM is how easy it makes partner collaboration. Everything—from onboarding to sharing leads—is in one place, super intuitive, and integrated with the rest of Salesforce. It just makes partnerships smoother and more productive.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

What I dislike about Salesforce PRM is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first—there’s a learning curve, especially for partners who aren't familiar with Salesforce. Customizing it also takes time and resources.

**What problems is Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce PRM helps streamline partner onboarding, communication, and deal tracking—all in one place. It solves the chaos of managing multiple partners manually and gives better visibility into partner performance, which helps us scale faster and make smarter decisions.

  ### 37. A robust and complete product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

What I like most about Salesforce is the depth of its functionality. No matter the use case, functionality is built out because their products have been battle-tested by thousands of companies. I have used other products in the past that were too specialized to help us with all of our needs.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

While it's super robust, one of the things I don't like is the steep learning curve. It takes a while to help onboard our new employees and orient them with the solution. Additionally, the UI could be updated a bit, but these are minor issues.

**What problems is Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us keep everything organized with our partners — onboarding, deal registration, lead sharing, and tracking all in one place. Before PRM, we had stuff spread across spreadsheets, emails, and random docs, which made it hard to stay aligned or know how partners were performing. Now we can see what’s working, who’s active, and support them faster. It saves a ton of back-and-forth and helps us scale partner efforts without adding more chaos.

  ### 38. Salesforce PRM: A solid solution for managing partner relationships

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

What I like most about Salesforce PRM is how well it facilitates collaboration with our business partners. I find it very useful to have everything centralized: from lead management to opportunity tracking and internal communication. Everything is integrated within the Salesforce ecosystem, which makes the work much smoother.

Additionally, I highly value the automation of processes such as opportunity registration or lead assignment. These functions save time and help avoid errors. I also like that the partner portal is customizable and allows them to easily access the resources and tools they need to work more independently.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

What I like least about Salesforce PRM is that, although it is very comprehensive, it can be a bit complicated to set up at first. Not having much prior experience with Salesforce, I felt that the learning curve was somewhat steep. The platform has many features, which is good, but sometimes it can become a bit overwhelming.

I also noticed that to make certain customizations or adjustments in the partner portal, I ended up needing technical support, which can increase costs. I would like some of those tasks to be easier to manage without relying so much on a developer.

**What problems is Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main problems I have found with Salesforce PRM is its complexity when it comes to implementation and customization. It is not a plug-and-play solution; setting up the partner portal and adapting it to our specific needs took time and, in several cases, required additional technical support.

However, that initial complexity has also benefited me in the long run, because once everything is well configured, the platform perfectly adapts to our business processes. The automation and integration with other Salesforce tools make the workflow much more efficient and allow us to manage our partners more strategically and with greater visibility.

  ### 39. Highly customizable to your company and individual needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

I like the ability to customize my own dashboard. There are tools I use every dan and others I only use once in a while. SalesForce allows each individual to customize their dashboard to their own primary uses. It offers plug ins to make the software work with other solutions within the organization and with the right SalesForce admin the tool can be customized to do nearly anything you need or want it to. I use SalesForce nearly every day for various reasons and other teams use the notify/task features to alert me to things I need to help them with.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM)?**

With any highly customizable solution it can be overly complex. Sometimes I just need one thing and it feels like it may take me a while to find it. Sometimes the search feature returns things that don't make sense.

**What problems is Salesforce Partner Cloud (formerly Salesforce PRM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining one consistent place to track the progress of prospects through Lab and Pilot as well as tracking progress of strategic partners training and certification. Everyone on our Sales, Client Success, Accounting and Support organization uses SalesForce so it is our one stop shop for information.
