"SailPoint IDN: Cloud-Native IAM with Too Many Gaps"
3.5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

No on-prem infrastructure required, making it easier to deploy and scale for modern IT environments. This is the biggest advantage of choosing IDN.

Supports a wide array of out of the box connectors and APIs for integrating with cloud and on-prem apps.

As a SaaS product, it receives regular updates and patches without customer side maintenance.

While not perfect, recent UI improvements for end-user access requests and certifications have made certain tasks easier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

The interface is overly basic and lacks essential features, you can’t sort access certifications or search within them, making navigation and management unnecessarily tedious.

Identity refreshes happen twice daily at approximate times, but you can't control when. Documentation is vague on the exact timing, which complicates planning and troubleshooting.

The platform is poorly documented. Common issues take weeks for support to resolve, and when you ask for docs, you often get pointed to outdated or irrelevant material. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SailPoint IIQ best in class"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

This is the best product I have used, and it is very easy to operate. I have been using it for the past four years after migrating from OIm. We have been able to use it for all possible use cases. In particular, I handle user access reviews, and the product supports millions of line items seamlessly. I feel fortunate to have this product, as it has helped us strengthen our security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

We have certain use cases where we want to provide access to end users, but making UI changes to improve their experience is not straightforward. As a result, we often end up looking for external solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sailpoint your true IGA platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

It provides identity governance and connects to multiple sources across the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

There is no straightforward licensing process, and the SAP modules are very complicated to license. Overall, there isn’t a clear structure, which makes it difficult to understand what’s needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"sailpoint review"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

What I like best about SailPoint is its ability to provide centralized, automated identity governance across a diverse set of applications. The platform's flexibility in customizing provisioning workflows, implementing RBAC, and enforcing access policies makes it both powerful and scalable. I also appreciate how access reviews and audit trails are built-in, which helps ensure compliance without added complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

While SailPoint is powerful and flexible, one challenge I’ve faced is that certain customizations — especially around rules, workflows, and connector configurations — can become complex and require deep technical knowledge. Also, error messages aren't always descriptive, which can slow down troubleshooting. However, with experience and proper logging, these issues become manageable. "Easy Access Control Across Apps with Straightforward API Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

SailPoint makes it really easy to control access to multiple programs. I was not involved with the implementation but with the ease of API's the integration seems to be rather straightforward. I also like that it can be setup to reach out to managers on a periodic basis to ensure access should remain or be revoked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

Nothing that I can think of at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best IGA Tools in the Market is SailPoint IIQ"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

I like SailPoint becuase for their high quality products such as SailPoint IdentityIQ and SailPoint Identity Security cloud. They are the leaders in the IGA Space. They have broad list of connectors to support different applications integrations. SailPoint products are robust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

I am disappointed working with SailPoint support time. Most of the time support team asks for the unnecessary details when we raise a case with support team. When folks from India raises tickets we get a response in different timezone by that time we can't replay immediately. In India working hour we will replay and then some one from onsite team replies back during night time, this process goes many days. When we ask for the call or meeting in overlap hours they denies. "Easy Deployment and Great Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

It's an awesome tool that allows us to automate our onboarding and offboarding tasks with ease. I like the ability to create custom workflows for situations that need it.

When we've had issues, SailPoint's support team has been pretty on top of things. They respond quickly and I've had some team members go above and beyond to try and help us troubleshoot what is going on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

The only downside I've experienced so far is with links from guides. Sometimes they are broken links to pages no longer available. To go along with that, sometimes the error messages we receive in the tenant aren't always so detailed, which forces us to open a case with Support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best IAM product"
5/5
What do you like best about SailPoint?

Sailpoint’s reach connector support along with dedicated offerings for Saas and On-prim installation provides customers to select there product best suited for their needs.

While my association with SailPoint primarily on IdentityIQ, I have really enjoyed implementing complex business cases with ease of customisation supported by available hooks in with different kinds of rules. IdentityIQ is primarily for complex costumers which there unique needs where costumers needs more control

Of there IAM implementation, however you also get dedicated and professional support through their support portal.

While we have IdentityIq for customers with more complex and larger user bases we do have Saas offerings with matching capabilities where you can have a mature IAM offering as a service with Identity Security Cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SailPoint?

For IdentityIQ I believe there could be more use cases which can be given importance like non-human user and device management so that it could cater the need for managing use cases to support external identities as well ex: banking domain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
