What do you like best?

The flexibility of the system, the convenience of the evidence room feature, the overall system structure.

The tool can cover different aspects of the Compliance topic and support a cross-departments collaborative approach. What do you dislike?

Old fashion UI, some inconsistency across the different modules. Reporting could be better, more interactive and more visual. The navigation UX can be further improved and optimized.

What do you like best?

The best tools in the world don't mean anything is the users can't or won't use them. Because C360 can handle policies, incident reporting, contracts, conflicts of interest, risk assessments, third party assessments, audit management and probably a handful of things I'm forgetting, it acts as a force multiplier stretching scant resources and allowing for the development of subject mater experts in using and configuring the software. There is a massive difference between having to learn and manage 3 or 4 different software tools and a single one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It isn't the least expensive approach and for any particular module/application, there may be some aspects inferior to a tool solely designed for that task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The ability to manage third party risk (contracts), incident management (8 domains), policies and Conflicts of Interest tools with a single internal resource managing the tools so we can consistently improve the process and experience. Example: Was able to get substantial buy-in from other areas like IS&T, HR, patient experience, OccHealth & Risk Management to use the same tool - dramatic improvement in quality and quantify of reported events and far better visibility to drive Enterprise Risk Management and audit planning. When I first began my career in HSE, we were tracking only lagging indicators in an old "in-house" database. We tracked only the numbers...number of injuries, number of spills, number of motor vehicle incidents, etc... There was no opportunity for learning because there were no details surrounding the information. SAI Global has allowed us to expand the information we collect, and, most importantly, we can now do trending on the information collected. The biggest benefit has been managing our review cycles. The system will automatically remind reviewers of items in their queue. We also have a requirement that every document is reviewed at least annually. What do you like best?

The capability to implement the whole spectrum of GRC processes and the flexibility with the technical implementation of business requirements i.e. using the workflow capabilities and event triggers. The application provides an extensive amount of capabilities and since the introduction of the so called 'solution navigator' it contains a modern user interface - which is much appealing to end users. Furthermore, the easiness of integrating with data providers/data sources and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI for business wide adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

With the introduction of new functionalities or addons it seems like the focus is moved away from functionalities which are typically received very well, are most used, and have been te reason to start using the application in the first place. For example, the original Internal Control scheduling functionality is what is being used a lot, I've not seen many new developments - I do however have seen a completely new functionality "one assessment type" which should be replacing this. What do you like best?

We have previously been using Excel as a reporting tool. With SAI360 the internal control monitoring reporting is much easier for the users and the administrator. We have saved considerable time. We are using BWise 5.5 for Issue Management and Control Assessment. It is now far easier to have relevant information there where it is needed. Scoping assessments is inside the GRC environment instead of in excel sheets. Control Assessments triggered based on scheduled instead of adhoc. All relevant information is there in the assessment forms. Easy overview of the task and a task can be started with one click instead of going through menus. What do you like best?

SAI360 is a GRC tool including a very broad range of GRC activities which quite easily can be adapted to company needs. For us it has been great to be able to include most of our central GRC processes into one single IT tool with the assistance of professional SAI360 consultants. What do you like best?

What I like best about SAI Global are two things: The substantial selection of compliance courses along with the best customer service! SAI is always coming up with new and improved training on all topics while their customer service team members Akash Mathur and Bob Cicala are there to help you with any of your training needs! What do you like best?

Flexibility to build the right tool by choosing from a list of existing functionalities.

Quick response to make changes upon request and the design team is always solution driven.

What do you dislike?

The lack of a 'out-of-the box' standard solution makes it harder for client who are looking for a 'plug-and-play' option.

Also, every client's needs may be different and therefore it's hard to start designing a system based on the 'skeleton'. This would lead to many rounds of discussion to conclude on what the client need, and every change is potentially an 'extra' item to build, which could lead to longer time and more cost.

Configuration is not as simple and can take longer time to make basic changes.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Strongly recommend to use external consultants who has experience in SAI.

What do you like best?

We use BWise for our risk and control management and have found the system to be both flexible and with good standardized modules as a starting point. We have aproached rolling out our GRC-tool on an agile basis. We make a first version of what we need and test it on our users and then develop based on their feedback. The way the system can be configured in stead of programmed is very good and also an essential reason for choosing BWise Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We find going into production with new functionality can be a bit difficult since the system doesn't allow staging. We would like the system to be packaged ready for production after UAT and that a short verification in production would suffice, but at the moment a full testcycle is needed also in production when going live. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We plan to use BWise for all our GRC-issues. So far we have rolled out the modules for risk assessments, events and ICFR. We have also added on configured modules for some other functions (2nd line reporting, model inventory and a product approval process). What do you like best?

One upside is that the system is very customizable. A company can choose to use just one module or many and this is only the beginning of the choices. Forms, workflows, and notifications can be tailored to match a company's specific needs. Currently, our ERM module is probably the one that is utilized the most and that we are most proud of. What do you dislike?

Sometimes features can be a double-edged sword and that's kind of how I see customization for this software. Too much freedom can be overwhelming in some situations. I do not care for the importing data process. Also, reporting has been a struggle for us. We are now exporting data into PowerBI in order to obtain reports that we felt we needed. I do not like how there are not "parameters" that can be updated/changed that would then filter changes all through-out the system. We are definitely being able to use the system as a repository; however, we feel like there should be more benefit than that. Like I stated earlier, our most utilized module is the ERM module. We do see value in the functionality for Risk Assessments. We also utilize the Incidents module for Risk Occurences and for Formal Complaints. Both of these processes seem to work fine; however, often times if you really review the process, most work is being done outside the system and it is just more of a storehouse. What do you like best?

Our company began using the Compliance Workspace module in 2015. Since that time, we have also installed the Policies and Procedures Module and the Incidents Module to manage consumer complaints. Having multiple business units on the same system allows for better integration throughout the organization. SAI360 is great for automated tasking and serving as a repository for support documents that can be organized and accessed in an efficient manner. We use the system to report incidents and document the investigation findings and corrective actions implemented, the database enables us to identify problematic trends and take appropriate action. We also use the system to manage change, including the risk review, and tracking of actions to implement the change. Identified risks are also reported and manged to mitigation with the system. Risk mitigating actions from other risk identification sources, such as PHA, audits, inspections, etc are tracked in the system, providing a view of which risks are awaiting final mitigation. What do you like best?

Ability to make minor config changes in house with little dependability on support. Good foundations for majority of the modules available with a standard config available to either customize or roll with. Easy to use with simple work flows for the most part. Its been very useful to have such a diverse amount of information stored in the one easy to access place with the use of an app for remote users extremely useful in our work industry. What do you like best?

First and foremost the ease of use for administrators to understand capabilities and to apply ideas of use.

Policy Manager is a great tool for any and all departments. You can make it easy to store policies for users at all levels. Incidents module can be easily created/modified for multiple departments.

SAI response to feedback and continuous improvement drive - SAI never rest on their laurels and are always looking for new ways to make the lives of customers and subscribers easier. What do you dislike?

SAI have recently experienced rapid growth. While the people that are there always work hard to resolve issues and do their absolute best at all times, sometimes they seem to be under-resourced and certain issues may take longer than expected to resolve. As SAI continues to improve the platform and review and act on feedback from customers, we are finding fewer and fewer problems! Benefits include the overall intuitive nature of the platform, meaning we can be relatively light touch with our training.

Problems of centralised admin support for the database are resolved through the use of various second tier admin security roles which allows system admin to focus on major projects and business relationships.

The solution is extremely flexible which actually puts the power to solve problems at the hands of the customer, without having to rely on SAI to provide support at additional expense - this is key and allows us to be nimble in how we respond to business unit requirements and issues. BWise offers a broad range of GRC capabilities: internal control, risk management, recommendation management, etc., all of these integrating seamlessly. The reporting functionalities are extensive offering management the information they need for decision-making. Furthermore, BWise is highly configurable even for non-IT profiles. BWise is used for the registration and reporting of multiple GRC initiatives for example for control assessments, key risk identification, recommendation management, questionnaires & surveys. What do you like best?

Compliance 360 is relatively easy to use and teach to leadership. The customization attributes make it easy to create forms and workflows that work with our processes vs. having to try and make our processes fit into a "box" someone else created. Love that I can add modules at no charge and fully utilize the system in turn saving our organization money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

System can be pretty slow at times and way we have to add users to the entire folder or just the event makes it difficult for users to search the system for contracts. I'd love to see the ability to check all contracts in the system for users without accessing the actual contract. Just be able to search and have the file show up, but not be able to click on anything unless you have access to that area. Detailed reports can be a nightmare when trying to get contracts and addendum's. There are always little quirks with any system but for the most part it is a great program. Recommendations to others considering the product:

Work on contract/addendum relationship for reporting. Make it easier to allow user to see all contracts without actually getting details on the contract unless they have access. Don't let super easy tickets sit in your queue for 42+ days when you have a deadline to meet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

It has replaced many manual/paper processes with automated, standardized electronic processes. This has improved accuracy and reduced variation.
