"My time using Sage Intacct"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I like the responsiveness of each screen and the ease of creating new entries in the modules that I use. Competitor's products are much slower and bloated compared to this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Sage is great, but it is lacking some features on certain menus. Although it is very responsive, some intuitive features like time checking are missing from certain screens, causing excess clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Multi-Entity Management, But Transaction Handling Needs Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

One of the standout features of Sage is its ability to let you set up multiple entities within the same system, and then generate reports for each one individually. Many other accounting software options don't offer the flexibility to manage multiple entities in a single platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

What I find frustrating about Sage is how it handles transactions, particularly in accounts payable and receivable. The system lacks flexibility in these areas and often feels quite restrictive. For instance, if you need to unallocate a payment, you have to reverse the entire payment and then re-enter it, which is far from ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Multi-Entity Management That Boosts Efficiency"
4/5
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

It allows me to manage multiple entities without having to post in multiple company files. This was a huge bottle neck for us before & has helped improve efficiency without adding labor cots Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Inflexibility in changing unused subscription models during the initial term. We contracted for the Fixed assets module & during implementation learned that 1, we were sold a tier that would not cover our number of assets and 2, that it was redundant to software our CPAs use to complete our taxes. New features have come up that we would like to swap out for the unused one, but they will not allow that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sage Intacct"
4/5
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

The continued ability to connect with any endpoint in the Sage Intacct API makes it something that can scale your business because you can add in a lot of outside programs if needed to integrate or build your own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Over the past couple of years they have really throttled their API and things are running a lot slower. I have spoken with a few reps within Sage Intacct and confirmed this. I have also spoken with other customers and they have said the same thing. And that's with us going to the rest API as well. Also the ability to get into the construction accounting is a little noxious. There's quite a few hoops to jump through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have found some of the dimensions and groupings set ups to be a bit tedious and complex. Recommend future users map our their reporting needs before implementing in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for in depth financial analysis and process automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

From using Intacct for over two years, we have been able to analyse our financial information in much more detail than we had done under Sage 200. This has allowed the business to have more meaningful conversations. The month end timeline has also been greatly reduced to c 2-3days due to the automation in the system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Improve the sub ledgers to allow viewing of outstanding items only and also show what invoices and payments are allocated against each other. It would also be helpful to create a refund workflow rather than postings three journals to achieve the same outcome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
