It makes tracking deposits, reconciling bank accounts, and keeping everything organized way easier. The cloud-based setup is great since I can access what I need from anywhere. It took some time to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it saves a ton of time compared to manual processes. Definitely a solid tool for accounting and financial reporting! **What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?** I wish I could copy and paste from excel, that way i could more quickly add data to my entires when making them. I understand that uploads are a thing and I could make the entry outside of sage and them upload, but I would prefer making my entires in sage where my gl accounts and job specific functions/dimensions would populate as I am creating them. This just ensure's less errors on my part. **What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sage Intacct has been a great upgrade for handling more complex accounting needs. When I worked at Exploding Kittens, we outgrew QuickBooks because it just couldn’t keep up with our financial operations. We needed better multi-entity management, automation, and reporting tools—and that’s where Sage Intacct delivered. It made bank reconciliations, revenue tracking, and reporting much smoother while cutting down on manual work. The built-in audit trails and approval workflows also helped improve accuracy and compliance. For any company scaling up, Sage Intacct is a solid choice! ### 11. Debugging API issues can also be tricky since error messages aren’t always specific enough, and there aren’t enough logs to easily track issues. Now, I can customize those reports in advance and assign outside entities to their proper places. Coming from a legacy accounting software product, I've been very impressed with the search functionality of Sage Intaact's software! I'm used to being forced to know precisely where to look for the answers I'm seeking, but even the best accountants aren't software code mindreaders. Being able to enter brief search criteria and use the "%" function to get a slew of results has been a HUGE time saver for both myself and my team, who no longer need to explain to the accountant who is new to non-profit accounting where to look for the appropriate backup. **What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?** I've loved everything about it so far, especially the intuitive web-based interface. **What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?** I no longer need a master class in a specific piece of accouting software. It is extremely user friendly and does not allow for mistakes. There are so many wonderful features, not to mention keeping your tax information together for year end 1099's. The ease of integrating and learning how to use Sage Intacct was wonderful. If I ever had issues, customer support was always extremely helpful with any problems. It is so user friendly and easy to train others on when needed. So user-friendly, easy to learn and understand to start taking advantage of all the features right away. It allows for what I call 3D accounting, where any GL number can be combined with any department or other dimension you chose to track. Which in turn provides an opportunity to have a much shorter COA. At the same time, Sage Intacct is robust enought to allow set up of smart rules, where you can restrict certain GL, Dept, Station combination to not have advertising expense in Engineering and insurance expense in Programing, for example. Reporting is great as well: flexible and easy to use for regular, non-IT oriented users to create reports. The system is very flexible to accommodate various business needs like reporting on mulptipe markets and radio station within them, setting up various books to allow for posting of non-cash (barter) transactions in a separate set of books, while also allowing seamless consolidated reporting on both. It seems the sky is the limit with Sage Intacct. **What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?** It is not a dislike list, more of the wish list for ptential furure upgrades. For example, an automated JE balancing option wth a write-off of rounding variance between debits and credits to a selected GL account at a selected threshhold would be amazing. A more clear error code that actually gies you the inofmation about the error you need to get it fixed, would be great too. There is the option, where a detaild error report is sent you via email, and just the error code is provided in the JE upload status. To have short error description right there in intacct without having to wait for the email, would be really great. **What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of the biggest for us in using Sage Intacct is the ability to mainain multi-company and multi-location environment withouth the need to log in to separate company instances like we had to do in Mass 500. This in trun allows for detailed market (by station reproting) as well as the consolidated reporting without the need to extensive report manipulation in Excel.
