Whenever I try to open a new tab, it just displays a blocked message. Once you figure out where everything is, it is simple and clear cut as to where to go for what. I also like that you can create your own favorites bar for shortcuts to your most used resources. **What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?** The whole sage interface could use a facelift, it seems to be a little outdated looking compared to it's competitor programs. It just looks old school. In timesheets, there is a box to the left that you must exit out of the expand the names of the jobs which to me, feels unnecessary, if I'm going to fill out my timesheet I want to see as much of the codes as I can. The search bar in tasks could also be improved upon. When I search exact names, things don't often come up. I would like to see them add a customized dashboard so you can have a prettier and simpler homepage each time you open sage, not updates on their 2025 release or random links. **What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mainly use it as part of my company's timesheet coordination. ### 26. While the content in Sage University is great, the platform itself is very clunky and frustrating to use. It is very annoying that you cannot save a journal entry in the middle of processing it unless the debits and credits balance. It is also brilliant that you can have many tabs open at once which is useful as a management accountant or Finance person to reconcile things without losing your trail of thought. Sage Intacct is also brilliant for controlling ledgers as each module can be closed individually, which isn't possible in some systems such as Priority. **What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?** While the custom reporting can be done in lots of detail, it is often difficult to get a simple report quickly. We have gotten around this as a business by using an excel plug in that pulls our sage information out of sage and reporting outside of sage. I also find it difficult to upload journals as the error messages received are often non-descriptive. I find bank reconciliations aren't as intuitive as QBO advanced online banking and that sometimes I find myself spending a long time on reconciliations. **What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sage Intacct helps us consolidate group accounts. FP&A in Intacct is good for our business as there are many dimensions for us to bucket costs, for instance we have to report costs and revenue by customer, project, division etc. so reporting with just a nominal structure isn't enough, this is where Intacct is a great tool for us to report in various guises.
