"Great tool for managing time "

What do you like best about Sage HR?

We use CakeHR mostly for managing time off, as well as documentation for employees. I like the approval feature, it's super easy to use. It's also easy to manage large groups and segment users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage HR?

The mobile app is lacking. My recommendation to them would be to build out a more robust mobile platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sage HR?

What I like most when using CakeHR is the ease of registration and access; the function "history of changes made" to facilitate the tracking of changes in the data is very good; and when generating reports with a single click is wonderful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage HR?

A big disadvantage of CakeHR is that it integrates with payroll systems, but not with benefit portals or learning management systems. We are waiting for you to integrate all this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Sage HR:

Users can register for a free 14-day trial. CakeHR does not request credit card information until the test ends. So this is or na great opportunity to try the software before buying it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sage HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

A big problem that I have been able to solve with CakeHR is that I receive email notifications of employees' free time requests and approve or reject them by the same email. This has made things easier for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent HR Leave Solution"

What do you like best about Sage HR?

It really solved our manual request and approvals for leaves. The impossible paper trail is over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I haven't found the problems, yet. We are still getting used to the system. So far it is working for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sage HR solving and how is that benefiting you?

As we grew, we found that tracking our leave had become extremely cumbersome and inaccurate with our manual system of line manager approvals. I had become an HR nightmare. CakeHR has changed all of this for us. We can now track all requests and approvals at the tip of our fingers as well as to consult the calendar to see who is in and what they're doing. We have grown twice in size over the last 12 months as well as added several brand new functions which had slightly hit our Customer Support performance. However, this has already been acknowledged and rectified, our team has just had an increase and the Technical and Customer Support is back to efficient selves with the focused target to keep response time to a maximum of 30 minutes :)

What do you like best about Sage HR?

CakeHR is very straightforward and simple to use. The UI is nice and bright and requesting time off is very easy, and beats filling in a form! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage HR?

The functionality is pretty basic, and editing time off that may not have taken place in the past is an admin only function meaning I have to contact an admin at our company to adjust it. It would be so much better if users could request changes, and then an admin approves afterwards.

Tracking my time off is also a little long-winded. I would have liked to have seen a more detailed report that spans my entire history.

Also, the mobile app is pretty poor. It only allows me to request time off, not manage anything else. I even contacted the CakeHR team who said an update was in the works, but when this was released, it was hardly any different. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The mobile app is made simpler as it is primarily intended for a quick, fast and simple function while you are on the go, such as requesting the time off, staying up to date with anniversaries, birthdays & daily absences of your office, or giving quick feedback to a colleague & managing your own schedule if your organisation has subscribed to these modules. We take pride in being renowned for our simple & intuitive design and are trying to keep it that way while continue adding more functions to the system.

We at CakeHR stay on top of the latest HR trends as it is important for us to know what are the challenges and opportunities our customers are focusing on, so they can leave the management of HR data and day-to-day errands to CakeHR. "Great HR tool for a startup"

What do you like best about Sage HR?

We used CakeHR in the beginning of our company. It was an amazing experience and fulfil our expectations and needs for the time being. You could have your employees main information in one single place and keep track of their absences and vacations. It allows you to manage your employees time off, absences and vacations, to create timesheets and other hr paperwork, it allows you to even sinc with your calendar which is great since you don't need to loggin in the tool to see where your employees are. What do you dislike about Sage HR?

We encoutered in some other tools more features than CakeHR could present us such us the give thanks/badges to your colleagues feature which currently we use as a voting system for our employee of the month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
