What do you like best?

Sage CRM offers a full set of features such as case management, marketing campaigns and marketing process workflows. I can send mails, individually or in mass, via Sage. It's very easy to navigate between the dashboard, to the leads, contacts deals tasks calendars and reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It needs to be able to upload csv files. Sage CRM doesn't have the extensive app store that other CRM products have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The tool is easy to use with a lot of options. Sage CRM has vastly improved the productivity of our sales team who concentrate more on making deals rather than writing reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It's very easy to use, extremely flexible and customized very easily. The generated reports are very thorough. The details may be exported to Excel. Allow customers to self-serve for customer service matters Aware of the cost-effectiveness of marketing campaigns Strengthen customer relations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Depending on the web browser you are using it works better or worse. Sometimes the search function causes mistakes. When you manage a lot of information, it's a little slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Management of schedules, appointments and assignment work Share sales data with the whole team Complete significant sales processes Integrate and reassign significant accounting data Deliver and assign guidelines Defining sales cycles that will make sense for your business. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

You can create all documents using the sales templates that Sage CRM brings, keep them on track of the customer's history and continually monitor sales opportunities in order to increase effectiveness in the sales cycle, such as the organization of daily tasks, communication between customers and internal staff. Marketing is strengthened by tools that enable the database to be segmented into criteria, so you can create a set of detailed reports with this information and facilitate the entire business work. What do you like best?

Sage does a great job of having all of our part numbers, sales orders, and overall history in one place. It's important that my company is able to see previous invoices very quickly, especially when dealing with meticulous sales orders from government industries. It's easy to modify issues at hand, because everyone makes mistakes while entering orders, and it's very easy to find the paper trail of previous orders even when they go back a decade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It does not always show a great description of what part number has what. The difference between the color of our product might vary by a single number is part descriptions. I wish sage would show a quicker description without having to go directly into the part and close out every time you want to look. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Really try to branch out and go into different parts of Sage that you normally would not. There are many useful tools you might not even think about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's extremely easy to fix a mistake, because every company can make one. It does a great job at leaving a paper trail for our more complex orders and allows us to have an easy reference during an audit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The user interface of Sage CRM is relatively straightforward and has very distinct sections that allow us to identify various sales and background information easily. A like being able to connect with many users and be able to update the status of various tasks in real time. We can look at many of the graphical features in Sage CRM and get a quick understanding of where things stand throughout an entire sales campaign. I like that we can make notes on direct sales efforts and also email marketing campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I personally have enjoyed having a better grasp on all the group information that flow in our Sage CRM account, but keeping up with all of the activities can be burdensome for some people through a CRM. I think many people can often feel pressure to simple move items forward and focus less on quality results. Sage CRM can sometimes make our work too much of a numbers game. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There are numerous CRM applications that can be accessed through a web portal these days, but I think Sage CRM is above average and can be easier to get users on-boarded compared to many other solutions. I would recommend it for improving overall awareness of account activities and to promote faster task completion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

After using Sage CRM for several sales and marketing campaigns, we have all gained a great deal of control over group activity data and access to resources. We can share information and communicate more efficiently and rely less on meetings of any kind, whether that's in-person or online. From a bottom line standpoint, I think the improved accountability from Sage CRM has helped us convert for sales and be more in tuned with the activities of specific leads and clients. What do you like best?

This program was useful to store client information such as addresses, notes, phone numbers. Create mailing campaigns and make pre constructed reports to track progress were also features that we used a lot. The documentation was easy to follow and picked up the crm quickly. Every time customer service was needed their support always helped solve the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The version I used would not allow me to run reports larger than 5k results but my company didn't want to upgrade from 7.1 because of how expensive our integration of Sage CRM was to connect to our SAP ERP system. I would recommend this software to a small business that is not very tech savy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system has almost unlimited options for fields and reporting. So if you want to customize they system for your specific industry or product line, it is quite capable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are so many options and similar fields, the Sales Reps get confused and put information into the wrong fields. It takes quite a bit of training, which should be ongoing, since updates to the systems come out from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Create as many pull down menus for easy selection of field options for sales. This way you can pull reports based on the standard entries into a field. Planning on the front end on which specific fields will be used for specific information is essential. And ongoing training for sales is necessary. Remember - Garbage In, Garbage Out! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Sage CRM is fantastically intuitive. It has a great user experience in the web client (of which you can take your pick). Unlike Microsoft Dynamics CRM, users are kept on the same tab/screen throughout. Some may say that this means they cannot flick between records, but personally I prefer this.

The tablet/mobile experience is simple to set up and then use. Others are playing catch up here.

Social Media integration is also excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Whilst the native integration with Sage 200 is a logical step, it is not without it's problems, and you need to watch out for erroneous data from the ERP system that may be incompatible with CRM. I recently had an issue with non-English Roman characters (accents, etc.) and ERP systems that have gradually been upgraded from Sage Line 100 and this caused some difficulties. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

For me, the key thing to consider is the scale of the solution you wish to implement. Sage does not position this product in the massive multi-site implementation arena so it's best to choose something like SalesLogix if you want a Sage product to do that.

There are plenty of partners who will be able to help provide consultancy on Sage CRM, and although it may not have the reach of, say, Oracle or Microsoft, it does have a strong presence in EMEA and APAC regions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
