What do you like best?

The flexibility that is afforded by customizing as we see fit to meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

That flexibility comes at a price in the way of consultant hours to help us develop it. Out of the box, Sage is a decent CRM, but to really take advantage of it's power, you need to be able to invest in development hours to customize it to fit the organization's needs. Unless you have a development team on staff that can be used to help with these customization, you will need the assistance of a consultant to do that type of work; and that can get expensive. We are fortunate enough to have a full time CRM Administrator but even then some of the customizations are above my skill level which makes it frustrating to fulfill the requests of our end users who just want to optimize our CRM and make efficiency improvements. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

The strength of Sage is that it's quite customisable. We were able to adapt it to our business needs fairly easily. Once set-up the reports are easy to dowload and get (financial reports like sales done in the month), it is also easy to keep track of your pipeline. The support is great, they've always been super fast at getting back to me, faultless servive here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Overall, I'd say this software is temperamental, and a bit dated. The search function works 1 out of 5 times, you sometimes need to add % in front of name to make sure the right company/contact come up. This has led to the team entering the same contact twice for example, not great. I also generally find that sometimes things won't work (e.g. you try to create an opportunity for example) and you have to close the window and start again - it's actually a fairly regular occurence. The other thing as well is that while customising the software is easily done, it does require external help (so billable work!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The price is decent compared to some key competitors, but some of the features aren't that advanced in comparison, just think about what you really need to see whether Sage is actually what you need Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Sage CRM is very easy to customize. One administrator can set up and manage the application quite easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It isn't intuitive in most cases. one example is that you can have a company with multiple addresses and people with an address. the company is only searchable by the default address and the peoples addresses are not connected to the business either. In essence you can't have a store location anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We used Sage CRM to help grow customer/prospect information and track sales. Of course, you're CRM is only as good as the people who use it, and with oilfield that was a big problem. What do you like best?

This software is HIGHLY customizable, which is useful for our company. Additionally, once you understand the infrastructure and memorize the hot keys, it can be very efficient and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

HOWEVER, if you don't understand the nuances of the program (or don't have infinite patience), it can slow your workflow down exponentially. A lot of our team struggles with navigating the system, and its different modules- and the process to keep it updated and clean is complicated and tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

DEFINITELY get involved in any and all training the software has to offer, and create your own "cheat sheet" templates to provide to new employees. The learning curve for this program is very steep. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I guess the business problems we're solving is the ability to manage almost every inventory process we have in our company on one core program as opposed to a mish mosh of several. Whether or not that is actually beneficial is currently up for debate. I personally like it but that's because I've spent three years perfecting my technique and becoming a power user of this system and all the different solutions it provides. What do you like best?

I like best about Sage CRM is how easy I find it to make conditions on groups and changing the layouts of these groups. It is then very easy for me to pull data into Excel. As well I like that these groups are constantly updated every time you enter into them. Though I have a highly customized version in terms of fields and tabs. I found customizing in Sage CRM to be pretty easy. I think the flow of Sage CRM makes sense. I also enjoy how Parent and Child tables can be joined in the groups. What do you dislike?

My main dislike, does not have a mobile aspect too it and is why my current company is looking to move to Salesforce. As well running queries on the back end does not always seem to make sense. I also think there should be a way to make global changes in a group which you have already created. As well I know there is a cloud based version of Sage CRM, but the reviews I have heard from other organizations are not promising. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With the information inputted into Sage CRM I am able to complete internal and external reporting requirements. As well, it has allowed us project management and an excellent database of all current and potential clients with extra information. What do you like best?

I used SalesLogix years back and this software is light years ahead of the on-premise version. It runs fairly smooth and covers most of the basics that a CRM suite should offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It still have a long way to go with the UI. The user interface needs a major overhaul and become a lot more user friendly before this tool starts to take off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

No Blackberry Z10 app. I have not found a decent Google map add on that works in the UK. Technical support and upgrades are expensive, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Appearance seems like a Microsoft product. Seems fairly easy to navigate. Appears to integrate well with other sage products (I don't have any). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Cloud version is lacking interactive dashboards and some workflow capabilities. According to other posts, support is lacking outside of UK (I didn't have an occasion to try out support) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Find function was fast. Summary screen showed most of what I needed to see in one convenient screen. I honestly don't have a lot of positive comments to say here, Sage CRM wasn't my program of choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Reports were so hard to navigate. Pulling up a list and then the export to excel feature didn't work properly. No way to set up an opportunity pipeline with automated emails and tasks for repeated opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
