Pros: Easy to use with its straightforward Menu bars. It also allows for you to store multiple contacts within vendors contact module which is nice, has a nice copy and paste feature which comes in handy for AP, and paperless capability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cons: Some of the basic reporting is lacking, it doesn't allow you to open multiple windows once you start drilling down, finding the exact report you need can be daunting sometimes due to the number of reports they have. I would rather have less reports with more information, but with more options to manipulate data myself. You can input data. For example, we use ADP and I cannot upload a file from ADP, so I'm manually putting in everyone's time and job coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Upgraded to latest 2020 version and we are impressed with latest features especially the the portal through Paya to allow for customers to make credit card payments.
Customized features and integration and export capabilities.
Never have issues with updates or database failure etc.
Programming capabilities with Sage Intelligence has been helpful to us for custom reports that I created and use with Windows Task Schedule to run daily.
Year End 1099 reporting with Aatrix is supper simple and great feature have been using that for past 6 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Yearly Maintenance is expensive. Have not used support much to warrant the expense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It keeps the business I work for organized. It keeps records of historical sales data that is valuable for sales people to come to me for reports so they can use that information to what top selling items are. There are so many functions to it, such as invoice, item, purchase order, and sales order data. It's a great way to keep your data organized. There are imports you can do to import big data updates, which is very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface looks outdated. It's bland and not modern looking at all. There's nothing special about how the windows look when searching for information. However, it gets the job done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With this program, you have the security and assistance with dada saving management. Once you know the ins and outs of this program, you can use this literally for everything when it comes to logistics. Being a consultant, this program allowed my team to literally digest and restart a warehouse when I’m reality, there was no coming back. In simple clicks once you have inventory data implemented, you can track orders, receive and send them out without the stress of missing BOM and much more. This also assists with compliance and that’s huge in warehouse management, inventories, and just everyday life when it comes to tracking orders for data reporting. You can also use this as a time tracking which helped with our company’s KPI. We had to track errors of each shift and specialized areas to identify what issues were occurring so that we can develop intense training to get the team at a 95 percent or above completion rate. If you aren’t used to ERP systems, this one may be a lot trickier than SAP systems. This system, you will have to manually put in and upload dada yourself. If you aren’t use to large dada pulls, please ensure you get taught correctly or you make have a real hard time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage is user friendly, easy to navigate and provides almost all of the reports we could need to run our business successfully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few standard things missing that we would like to have added like a shipping queue and more filtering and sorting options on the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Sage 100c with my Adage solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the business insights aspect of Sage. I also get a lot of use out of the ability to customize so much of the product, utilizing visual integrator to import and export a lot of the redundant activities, and just the general ability to export so much of the data into numerous formats. I'd love to see additional tutorials produced and made available by Sage, particularly some of the more technical aspects of utilizing and leveraging Sage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to look up customer history during the order taking process is a nice plus.
Not having to update onsite server apps is a nice plus as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've had some issues with credit card processing, but those have always been there. It's better than it used to be, but still needs some improvement between Sage and Credit card processing applications. The most used processes are fairly straightforward, some of the deeper functions are still more complicated than they need to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage can easily connect to our EDI system to help us cut down on manual order entry. We also use it for inventory, invoicing, etc. Once you get the hang of how to navigate the system it's easy to learn new reports or techniques at getting the information you need but it is not super intuitive at first. It really does take some time to be comfortable navigating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Often doing a simple task like changing pricing for a specific customer can be confusing. You can get to the pricing screen multiple ways (through inquiry, maintenance, etc.) but only one way will allow you to make changes. Adding contacts at a customer should be easier too; the system allows for one main contact on a customer record but then you need to drill down and go through each to find exactly who you are looking for. The names, titles, contacts would be easier if all listed out directly on record. Exporting reports to excel is extremely frustrating because the formatting never comes out clean and you end up having to reformat cells, rows, columns, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how all the different modules interact with each other. You can put in time for a job and have the time recorded on the payroll system. The interaction between modules makes for seamless transactions between tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is difficult to set up. You really need professional help to get it set up the way you want. Give it time and make changes as you need and it will end up working the way you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Online Tech Support always easy to reach Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we upgraded to most recent version, found several changes in screens that were harder to work around. i.e., in Customer Maintenance screen you used to quickly see all invoices with payment status. Now you just seen unpaid invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage 100 is very easy to navigate and complete tasks with very little training if you have previous ERP accounting software experience. It is very logical and has robust reporting. We luckily have a great external consultant who can write virtually an report we need. One area that is disappointing however is multi bin's for inventory. There have been a few changes in the external companies that Sage contracts to which has resulted in additional cost to our business to re-customize this to our business needs. Additional upcharges for 3rd party add-on's when you require more than the basically installed free version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Infrastructure & Maintenance savings - not having to absorb the costs of improvements in hardware, service and IT are very attractive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Security & Down Time - not having control of the environment has cost and security benefits if managed properly, but data breaches are always a cause of concern. Internet downtime and interruption of business is also a worry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I used this while I was working for a law firm to help attorneys manage their time, expense, and creating bills for the customer. It does the job of doing what was needed for my job. It's simple to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I first learn how to use it, it took me a while to learn how to set up the setting/filters. I don't think it's that user-friendly. I think it takes a lot of time from me and my work to adapt to this in order to make good use of this. I think after using this for 6 months (and at least once a week), I still find problem with some of the bills I created (for time recorded, expenses tracked, etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage 100 is very user friendly. I've been using Sage for over 25 years and the improvements that have been made over the years only make the program better. Lots of safe guards in the program. Easy to have separation of duties for security purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the customized reporting is a little tricky. Crystal reports is not as easy to use as it use to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The provider has a long history of regular well-tested releases, regular updates, training, and value-added resellers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing of all the modules we use can get pretty hefty for a small business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The breadth of integrations available for Sage 100cloud is perhaps its main strength.
These are not integrations that were only created within the last 12 months where the developer has worked with the product for just a year or two. Most integrations are time tested and regularly updated.
Sage 100cloud allows subscribers to move from any edition to the SQL edition with no additional licensing, the users are concurrent ( NOT named ) which is very beneficial to companies where casual user counts may fluctuate.
Software licensing is now on subscription so purchasing and adding users is less costly than prior licensing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software can require elevated user rights that many IT administrators are hesitant to give in this age of ransomware.
The pace at which features are added can be sporadic.
Reporting through the native SOTAMAS90 driver can be slow though using SQL typically clears that problem entirely.
Some third-party integrations have been slow to upgrade to the current release level which means you might wait 6 months after Sage releases their upgrade to be able to fully upgrade due to the use of an integration you are awaiting an upgrade for.
The slow pace at which the native SageCRM has been developed and integrated is disappointing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that there are many features integrated into one software. It's good to have everything centrally stored and located. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the payment processing. It is ok but I feel like it could be simplified. It's not easy to find information that you are looking for about setting up different avenues of payment. It is not simple to process a refund. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to find the accounting system can be based on the cloud so in case our internal server is down our data is still safe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From what I learned, Sage 100 Cloud is not real cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
