Simple Chat is an AI helpdesk for customer support on Shopify stores. The AI chatbot answers live chat and email from the store's products, orders, policies, FAQs, custom metafields, and the merchant's own instructions. It tracks orders, changes and checks shipping addresses, cancels orders, and follows up on open issues until they are solved. Staff see each conversation in one inbox inside the Shopify admin, and can take over at any time. Slack alerts tell the team about escalations. The app also sends back-in-stock alerts, manages product subscriptions, and drafts Shopify Payments chargeback responses. ShipHero users get live warehouse and fulfillment data in the conversation. Setup is in plain text, with no code. Pricing is per AI resolution, with no monthly fee and no per-seat fee: $0.29 per AI-resolved conversation on the Standard plan, $0.89 on Premium. Conversations that staff handle, or that the AI does not close, cost nothing. Usage is billed by Shopify in USD, capped at $5,000 per 30 days. Development stores test free.
