S4labour is a workforce management and labour optimisation platform built specifically for UK hospitality — pubs, bars, casual dining and premium dining. It is not a general-purpose scheduling tool adapted for hospitality; the product and the consultancy behind it were built by operators for operators. The platform covers rota building, time and attendance, labour optimisation, onboarding, HR and payroll in one system. Demand forecasting drives rotas against expected trade rather than last week's template, so managers deploy hours where sales actually happen. What separates S4labour from software-only competitors is the consultancy layer. Every customer works with hospitality specialists who review labour performance against their own data and coach site-level habits — not a support desk, an operational partnership. Results across the customer base: an average labour saving of £1,100 per week per site; Sales Per Labour Hour up £5.21 (+12.7%); labour ratio down 3.4 percentage points; overstaffing down 4.9 percentage points with guest sentiment held steady. Across five brands and 128 sites over twelve months, S4labour delivered £3.8m in labour savings, with 93% of sites improving on at least one key labour metric and a return of £3.74 for every £1 spent. S4labour integrates with the EPOS and hospitality systems operators already run, including Zonal, Toast, Lightspeed, Square, Tevalis, Kobas, ICR Touch, Eposnow, Tenzo, TiPJAR, CPL Learning and Airship. Customers include Everards, Butcombe Pubs & Inns, St Austell Brewery, Thorley Taverns, The Chestnut Group, Grosvenor Pubs & Inns and Barons Pub Company.
