I like that S-Docs was lower than competitor pricing and was easy to install and get up and running. The setup for contract templates could be easier to use. It could probably be more updated as well. The steps and signature addition are hard to understand and figure out based on the instructions. With our last document generation tool, it was lived outside of Salesforce and sometimes integration with our objects and fields didn't work as well. We are in truck sales and we can have several trucks sale in one deal. There are some limitations with data that we've run into that has caused certain issues from slowness to system errors. Being able to have S-Docs work within Salesforce is a huge plus from our other document generation tool that we used in the past. With that tool, we experienced countless timeout error and slowness due to integration. S-Docs has solved those issues and gives us the ability to do multiple docs (Bundles) at once which has made it easier for our Admins with day to day operations. Very effective low overhead Document Generation using a native Salesforce App. A web designer that knows HTML and CSS that is tasked with designing the document output can easily assemble the report source and formatting using their existing skillset. What do you dislike about S-Docs? The method of producing output that requires complex SOQL queries is challenging. The error messages that are produced at document runtime do not provide enough detail to understand what went wrong. The knowledgebase examples and detail is lacking sometimes.
