Certain field values are not properly escaped which can result in broken DOCX output. Recommend using HTML instead. Sending the created documents with one click is just one of the wonderful features. The incredibly high time saving is another advantage that S-Docs brings with it. Special kudos to the support team for going above and beyond to satisfy the complex customer requirments and enhancing the tool accordingly. **What problems is S-Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?** My client had a template-based manual opportunity pipeline report with a custom filter, criteria, and logic. This report also consists of multiple sections of different styles for different opportunities. With S-docs, this complex reporting is just a couple of clicks for the user compared to the manual effort by admins following up with users to submit their manual pipeline reports. Where we are able to influence this decision, our go-to recommendation is S-Docs for the following reasons. • It is completely on-platform, i.e. the customer's data never leaves Salesforce, and there is no integration to an external server. This means that the integration failures and performance issues we see with some other solutions simply don't exist. • The licencing model is a bit simpler and more flexible than some other providers; essentially they are willing to price based on annual volume of documents whereas other solutions are based on a split between named users and a daily volume for automated generations • The template builder is much easier to use than some other providers (it's all within Salesforce, not in Microsoft Word) – making it more likely the business can maintain their own templates going forwards. • Crucially – it supports custom CSS / HTML in the email template builder, allowing us to design much richer branded email templates • S-Docs has an electronic signature solution (S-Sign), which works seamlessly with S-Docs. **What do you dislike about S-Docs?** The only issue we've found is that embedding charts within documents is non-trivial, however this limitation also applies to other document generation solutions. **What problems is S-Docs solving and how is that benefiting you?** On behalf of our consultancy clients we leverage S-Docs for document generation and the S-Sign solution for electronic signatures. **Official Response from Zach Brueck:** > Hi there, thanks so much for your review! I could not do my job without it! It took a little while to set it up, but if you follow the provided directions - mostly copying and pasting - it works perfectly (and I am no programmer, though you will need Salesforce Admin and Apex permissions to complete the set-up). My organization sends out thousands of mass emails a year and hundred of printed documents using S-Docs. S-Docs makes it so easy. I have the settings adjusted to place a file in each opportunity that I send out to, so there is no guessing as to whether the work was completed or not and you can see exactly what the contact received. I had tried other document/email generators and they were either too confusing or not robust enough. S-Docs is just the right level of ease and functionality. Additionally, with each update, S-Docs adds something to make it even easier to use. **What do you dislike about S-Docs?** I wish there were more options for future dating documents. There is an option to go one week out, which is great, but I'd like more options. Often we'll do a printing and mail it on the following day or two. Maybe options are there and I just have not discovered them yet. **Recommendations to others considering S-Docs:** If you are willing to put in a little bit of hard work in the beginning, it will pay off for thousands of documents to come. S-Docs provides easy-to-follow instructions with copy and paste templates, which worked just as promised. I am not a programmer and I was skeptical that I'd be able to complete the implementation with Salesforce myself (Apex is no joke!), but I followed the directions and I'm so glad I did, because S-Docs really made my job easier.
