One improvement area for the workflow is that once the workflow crosses each approval stage , the user should be notified via an email. A clear user interface, an excellent smartphone app, and the ability to customise the coding structure for expenses is very useful. The upload into our accounting system is also straightforward. Occasionally it picks up the wrong details from a receipt when scanning; it would be great if you could manually instruct/teach the algorithm to pick up specific details so that it can learn for when you scan a repeat receipt! It just works as you want it to. You submit your mileage or expense, and your supervisor approves. Boom! It's on your next paycheck.
