- Beautiful user interface, great software solution and working environment to spend time in. I just want to spend all day in here.

- I am an early user of Runway.

But, this isn't my first rodeo by any means for learning a new FP&A, accounting, or similar type of software in my career. Runway checks out as a best-in-class solution with strong people behind it.

What I like best about Runway is how it stands out from typical FPA/BI tools that often just mimic Excel. Its ease of use is remarkable—I was able to set up multiple models quickly, and the forecasting options are flexible, allowing for both detailed and high-level analysis. Additionally, the implementation team is top-notch, and their customer service approach is refreshingly different from the norm in the software industry, making the overall experience exceptional. I've had a great experience using Runway - the live integrations have made my life so much easier and the account team has been incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Implementation was easy and we had our operating model set up in Runway in a few weeks. I've actually been able to build and run multiple financial scenarios using Runway without a dedicated FP&A team, and have even been able to hold off on hiring a contractor with this tool. Total flexibility in building our GTM models.

We no longer rely on complex and brittle spreadsheets to build our models and collaborate over them. Our board pack now runs largely from Runway and is generated at speed.

We can integrate with all the data we need across our stack; from financials, to CRM, billing providers and sheets.

Unlimited flexibility means we use it for all our GTM modelling, including the bottom-up demand gen model, sales capacity planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Before Runway, this was managed across four spreadsheets (each duplicated three times for the base, aggressive, and live scenarios). Now, it's all in one version-controlled system.

At monthly close, we get up-to-date marketing, sales, and finance data in one place to review and use for decision-making. We can quickly compare plan vs. actual and share this information with the rest of the business to help them make good decisions.

The new system has not only significantly reduced the time we spend on board pack prep, but it has also enhanced our ability to make better operational decisions. It provides us with a comprehensive understanding of the impact of our actions. For instance, we were able to assess the impact of 4 key decisions we made over the last few months by creating scenarios for each and comparing the results with our base scenario. When we first implemented Runway, it was still quite new, so there were naturally a few things to iron out during implementation (mostly around a couple of connectors to other systems).
