The biggest win for me is how it quietly replaced a lot of invisible stress. Earlier, I used to wake up and check if overnight jobs failed. Now I mostly wake up to clean dashboards. Some advanced configurations feel like they were built by engineers for engineers. RunMyJobs has been extremely helpful in managing hybrid workloads. We still have legacy jobs running on-prem while new workloads run in the cloud, and RMJ acts like a neutral control layer across both. Cost justification can be tricky for leadership if they only look at it as a “scheduler.” The value really comes from governance and reliability, which is harder to quantify upfront. I use RunMyJobs for scheduling and supporting SAP related jobs at my company, and I really like the graphical user interface. It's the best out there, with object-oriented drag and drop features and the ability to run jobs simultaneously. It's also very stable. Setting up jobs is super easy with the job definitions and building chains to fit our process needs. The ease of use is a big plus, as you don't need extensive training and can just teach yourself. Sometimes job definitions get corrupted and you have to recreate them again. The initial setup can be improved; there are a lot of steps to do the setup, and it would be good if they can shorten the amount of steps to configure all aspects of the installation. Because it's a premium enterprise solution, the "pay-per-job" or tier-based pricing requires us to be very disciplined about which tasks we automate so we don't blow the budget on "junk" jobs.
