After doing my small business' payroll myself for nearly 37 years, when I relocated to New York my new accountant recommended I use ADP for payroll. I should have done it sooner. It is so simple and not having to worry about all of the requisite forms that need to be filed for the State and IRS has truly saved me an incredible amount of time. I have also had wonderful experiences with the customer service agents on the rare occasions where I didn't know how to find some information (workers comp audit) on the site. I highly recommend using ADP to any small business that is doing payroll related things themselves, it's a huge timesaver and the cost is not overly expensive. I use RUN Powered by ADP to process payroll for a client and appreciate the online access which allows me to calculate and run payroll at a time convenient for me, providing confirmation of the results. I find it a great application, and it offers valuable support features. When I have a problem, I first go to chat and often receive the answer and the instructions to solve the issue. If needed, the chat support can take possession of my screen, guiding me through the mechanism to fix the problem, which effectively communicates the necessary steps and serves as good instruction. The only problem I have is learning the ins and outs of the RUN program. And sometimes, the language used by someone familiar with the app does not communicate clearly to me about the different selections and places to go on the app. Seeing someone do it removes this doubt and serves as good instruction. I love that RUN Powered by ADP takes care of everything for me when I input my payroll totals, including taxes and workers' compensation. Anytime I have a question or run into a snag, I can call ADP, and customer service always helps me until my question is answered, which I really appreciate. The seamless payroll process saves me a lot of time since I only have to input the numbers twice a month and don't have to think about the rest, allowing me to focus on what matters. I find ADP very user friendly. I recently took over a new role and saw ADP for the first time and I was a bit intimidated first but after a few payrolls and some repetition I realized how simple it was to use the tool. I would like to see the Time and Attendance feature integrated with the main RUN software more. It would help me tremendously if I could run a time card report for a certain date or range of dates that includes pay rates, to get a picture of actual labor cost for that day or those dates. It saves me time that I can chat with an associate instead of calling. I have multiple accounts on ADP so it helps save time that im able to search all people from the main menu. It is integrated with my 401k vendor. The website and app both are fast. I get a discount when I open a new business and the pricing is reasonable. The AI interface helps save time when searching. I am not able to go to the deductions page when running payroll on my 1099 people. When im running payroll and click on deductions or any other item, I cannot change to any of the other update profile items within the same screen. When I click save it brings me back to the main payroll screen. Many different people that are sometimes difficult to understand. Mostly okay. If by the chance you forget to move money over to your payroll account--adp punishes you for ever----even if you have been an exceptional client for many years. I find RUN Powered by ADP to be a fantastic program that allows me to easily pay hourly, salary, and production pay employees. I really like that I can access it on my phone, which was super helpful when there was a question about a paycheck. I was able to quickly access the needed information to address my employee's concern. The knowledgeable specialists that assist are very nice and offer great customer support, which is one of the reasons our team switched from QuickBooks. They are easy to use and they have really good support. I don't have any specifics on integrations but the performance is good. The pricing is also priced very fairly for such a large company that does so much. Sometimes the site is slow and requires me to log in and out. The system can be slow at times and requires us to log in later. I wish it would be easier to navigate when it is slow at times Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
