What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?
RUN Powered by ADP is a reliable, user-friendly solution. While it may not have the most modern interface or the most UX flexibility, it excels in the areas that matter most—payroll accuracy, tax compliance, and dependability.
RUN handles multi-state payroll and tax filings efficiently. Managing different state requirements can get complicated quickly, but ADP does a solid job staying current with regulations and ensuring filings are accurate and on time. That level of compliance support gives us confidence, especially during audits and year-end processing.
RUN's onboarding and task management features are a strong advantage. New hires can easily complete all required forms electronically, and the system ensures everything is submitted and set up correctly before their first day—so they’re ready to go for payroll without delays or manual follow-up. This has significantly streamlined our internal onboarding process.
We’ve also seen improvement with RUN’s recent integration with CareerPlug, our recruiting platform. The transition from applicant to candidate to employee is much more seamless now, helping eliminate duplicate entry and improving efficiency across our hiring and onboarding workflows.
Payroll processing itself is straightforward once you’re familiar with the platform, and the reporting tools are helpful for internal tracking and financial review.
From a performance standpoint, the system is reliable and fast. We can process payroll and pull standard or custom reports on demand, without lag, which is important for day-to-day operations and executive-level reporting.
ADP has also introduced AI-driven tools like Payroll Inspector and intelligent search, which help catch errors early and make it easier to find information or complete tasks quickly—adding another layer of efficiency and confidence to our payroll process.
RUN is also competitively priced for the value it delivers—especially considering the compliance support, automation, and time savings it provides. It strikes a good balance between functionality and affordability compared to other providers we’ve evaluated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?
The user interface feels a bit outdated and less intuitive than newer systems. There’s a noticeable learning curve for new users, especially when working with multi-state setups or pulling more detailed reports.
Integrations with other systems (such as ERP platforms or time-tracking tools) could also be smoother and more seamless—we’ve often had to rely on manual processes to bridge the gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
