"RUN Powered by ADP: Fast, Budget-Friendly Payroll With Great Reports and Helpful AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

RUN Powered by ADP gives our Business, Control of its finances. I basically point and click, input the information via the user interface, and have immediate access to reports, tax information, EVERYTHING, I need to complete my daily payroll tasks. The speed and ability to integrate the information into any form we need, is what made this the clear choice. We often have to add new Local Tax Jurisdictions, via new hire information, ADP's Live Chat feature, always comes through with the technical support we need to complete onboarding. We were going to go another route until we reviewed the pricing, discussed options with our representative, and found a budget friendly solution that worked best for us! The AI is extremely helpful! Highly recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

Sometimes It gets confusing trying to add new employees. I'm not certain there is a way to make it easier. The AI also gets annoying with repetitive responses, by that could also be human error as we are all still learning how to navigate AI Prompting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"24/7 Payroll Access with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

I use RUN Powered by ADP for payroll and tax preparation for my insurance business. The service is great, and if there's ever a wait, it's a short one. The team has helped me with my tax questions as well as payroll changes. It helps me solve any questions about payroll, hours, and commission my team may have, and it's a very convenient and efficient tool to manage and access any tax forms I may need. What I like most is the 24/7 access to all my payroll needs. The app has helped me submit my payroll from anywhere if I happen to forget to submit it — great tool! The customer support is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Between the app, customer service, and accessibility of forms, there hasn't been a concern that I can't solve. I switched from SurePay, which was slow to help with questions and concerns, and ADP was a better fit and much easier to use during tax season. The setup was very easy, and the reps at ADP made the transition seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

All works well, and I have no complaints. I really like the tax prep that they make so easy. allows commission to be added when running payroll in the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ADP RUN: Simplifying Payroll, HR, and Employee Benefits"
5/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

ADP RUN has been an excellent payroll and HR platform for our business. The system is user-friendly and reliable, and it makes processing payroll quick and efficient. We especially appreciate the employee self-service features, the tax filing services, the ease of access for both employers and employees, and the ability to manage onboarding and other HR tasks all in one place.

The platform has helped streamline our administrative processes and has saved us a significant amount of time each payroll cycle. Customer support has also been responsive whenever we’ve needed assistance, which has made a real difference.

Overall, ADP RUN is a dependable solution for small to mid-sized businesses that want an all-in-one payroll and HR system. It has made managing our team much easier, with competetive pricing and we would highly recommend ADP RUN! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

One area that could be improved is customer support. It would be beneficial to have a dedicated account representative who is familiar with our business and available for immediate questions or issues. While the support team is generally helpful, having a consistent point of contact would make resolving payroll and HR concerns much more efficient and provide a more personalized experience. "Compliance, reliability, and an all-in-one HR/payroll ecosystem"
5/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

ADP is still the industry standard for payroll and compliance, with strong reliability and broad global coverage. That said, it does come with a learning curve, customer support can be inconsistent, and the pricing feels premium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

I wish I didn’t have to keep two separate ADP apps on my phone—one for my team and another for my personal clock-in and clock-out. The mobile app often doesn’t work, and I end up having to go back and fix my timecards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Payroll Management with Intuitive Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

Being able to change pay rates and change hours and all of the weekly stuff from the same screen. Very easy to learn and use. Also that chat feature that any issue I have I can speak to someone quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

The biggest thing that I do not like is how long we have been with the company and ran many large payrolls and it is a major pain in our type of business because sometimes we run large payrolls last minute and it gets held up because it is so large. After being with a company so long and this being a normal thing there shouldn't have to be any change or delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Reliable Payroll with Helpful Reports and a Much-Improved AI Agent"
4/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

I like RUN ADP’s simple interface. It doesn’t come with a lot of bells and whistles, which makes it much easier to find the critical functions and reports than in other ADP versions I’ve used. The popular reports it highlights are genuinely useful, and most of the time, if I can’t figure something out, the AI agent can point me to the right report to find what I’m looking for.

I also like that it’s modular, so you can add or remove services as needed. It performs well and usually doesn’t require much beyond a few data-entry points to accomplish what I need. Support has definitely improved in recent years compared to previous iterations, and the AI agent, in particular, improved dramatically in Q2 2026.

Pricing-wise, it tends to be more expensive than other bare-bones services that have been pitched to me. That said, payroll is one of those things that simply needs to work, so we’re comfortable paying a bit more for a long track record of success. The number of available integrations seems robust, but we don’t use any of them, so I can’t really speak to their value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

The PTO bank and its functions weren’t intuitive, and we ran into issues right from the start. They were fixable, but it still caused a headache. I also don’t like how it feels like I’m constantly being pitched upsells while I’m using the platform—it’s annoying. Onboarding was pretty much non-existent for us, so we largely had to figure things out on our own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, reliable chat for complete resolutions"
5/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

When I have an issue, I can use the chat for a quick resolution. If I can't find it there, an agent is always very helpful and efficient. I can actually see patients while resolving issues. That is how efficient their chat option is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

Sometimes it does weird things like this past time I had an employee who clocked in and out and for some reason, ADP didn't recognize it and charged them a 30 minute lunch which was built in ONLY to happen with 7 continuous hours. I had to disable this feature and now have to manually adjust time when someone doesn't clock in an out for lunch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stress-Free Tax Handling, but Holiday Pay Hours Need Manual Accuracy"
3/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

What I find most helpful about ADP RUN is that I don’t have to worry about taxes or dealing with the IRS until it’s time to file. I can focus on simply entering my employees’ payroll hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

What I dislike most about ADP RUN is that I have to double-check that holiday hours are entered correctly and that the right amount of pay is entered; otherwise, employees don’t get paid the correct amounts. I also have to manually enter holiday hours because the software doesn’t seem to understand that it should only pay the actual hours worked within the 24-hour holiday period. For example, if someone starts work at 11 on the holiday and works until 5 a.m., it should only pay one hour of holiday pay, but it tries to pay them six hours instead. "ADP Streamlined Payroll and Time Tracking for Better Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

ADP has made running our office so much easier. We use it for employee time tracking, and the geofencing feature helps ensure accurate clock-ins and clock-outs, giving us confidence that time is being recorded correctly. It has streamlined our payroll process and significantly reduced the time and effort required for administrative tasks. Overall, it's been a great tool for improving efficiency and accountability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

The learning curve when we first implemented the system took a little time, but once everyone got comfortable with it, it became very easy to use...Really haven't had any issues with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Payroll and Onboarding with Great AI Support"
4/5
What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

I would say RUN Powered by ADP is relatively easy to use, making the process easier with helpful step-by-step guidance through prompted questions. I like the AI agent because it can usually help me, and when it can't, the live support in the chat box is really helpful with quick responses. The payroll feature is especially helpful because it prompts me when I've forgotten to prorate the pay if needed, helping me catch things that might have slipped through the cracks. The AI agent adds value by providing good responses to my questions during payroll or onboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

We'll go back to the AI. The AI definitely could be improved, and that would probably be easier. Just improved with being able to answer my questions, I mean, being able to provide me the option for a live agent when I can't answer my questions. Sorry. And the other part is the onboarding allowing me to be able to make it more personalized with certain documents that the company requires that we have signed. So outside of the general, you know, forms that are needed for onboarding by, you know, by law and stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
