It's great that it provides error-free payroll calculation and manages taxes well. I appreciate almost everything about it, but the super easy-to-understand reports stand out the most, as they help in proper accounting and make it easy for any employee to understand their calculations and taxes. The integration with Quickbooks works seamlessly, with no issues at all. I found the initial setup to be very easy and error-free. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** Sometimes we feel charges are high, if that can be reduced. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** RUN Powered by ADP provides error-free payroll calculation and taxes. It calculates wages, taxes, and deductions automatically, handles all the filings, and drastically reduces manual work, which is a big relief for us. The employee self-service portal is a major plus, allowing our team to view pay stubs, check time-off balances, and update their info anytime, which cuts down constant back-and-forth questions to management. Everything is centralized and stable, so we can focus on design work instead of getting stuck in payroll and HR admin. The automated payroll saves us hours every pay period, and significantly reduces human error. Automatic tax compliance is a lifesaver too, especially with Germany's complex employment and tax rules. The employee self-service portal also lightens our load a lot as it lets our designers manage their own pay stubs and personal details, which is incredibly valuable for us. **What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?** For our small graphic design team in Germany, a few parts of RUN Powered by ADP feel less smooth and could really be improved: First, the user interface looks a bit dated and isn’t very intuitive. Menus are nested deeply, and some basic tasks take more clicks than they should. For a creative team used to clean, modern design tools, it can feel clunky and hard to navigate at first. Second, localization for Germany isn’t as complete as we’d like. Some tax labels, reporting fields, and system messages are still in English or don’t fully match German payroll terminology, which creates small confusion when reviewing records. Third, there’s a lag or delay sometimes when processing or loading certain payroll features during peak usage times, which can be frustrating if we’re up against deadlines. The initial setup of RUN Powered by ADP was mostly straightforward, but not completely hassle‑free for our small design team in Germany. A few specific pain points: German tax & social security setup was poorly structured. We had to manually configure Lohnsteuer (wage tax), Kirchensteuer, Solidaritätszuschlag, and full social security (RV, PV, KV, ALV) deductions. The system didn’t provide clear templates or step-by-step guidance for German rules, so we had to research and test multiple times to avoid calculation errors. No proper localization wizard: Unlike local German payroll tools, there was no onboarding flow tailored to German employment law. Things like working-time rules, minimum wage mapping, and mandatory leave entitlements had to be set up manually in generic fields, which felt unintuitive. **What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?** RUN Powered by ADP automates our payroll and tax compliance, reducing human error and freeing us from manual work.
