**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

Once you get past the initial set-up, ADP is incredibly easy to use for payroll and payroll reports. They seamlessly connect you with Works-Comp providers and they handle payroll taxes. I would definitely recommend for the ease of use of the product.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

The only downsides are that you must communicate through a chat field on your home page as the "Customer Serve Number" is completely automated for payroll administrators who may have any questions.
It would be nice to be able to speak to a live associate over the phone.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ADP runs payroll for you. You only need to follow simple prompts to complete your weekly payroll and even then, if the hours are of the employees or pay rate does not change, that process can also be automated.

**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

I really appreciate the convenience of reaching customer service via chat. The support team is great, and they’re consistently helpful whenever I have a question. I’ve been with ADP for a few years now, and even though I only have a small team, it’s reassuring to stay in compliance and not have to worry about that part of payroll.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

Every time I open ADP, I get a notification that I’m not compliant with my Workers’ Comp insurance, even though I am. In our state, Workers’ Comp is handled by the state, and I report directly to them.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They always help me solve any problems when they come up. Sometimes it’s my fault, and they’re still patient, helpful, and forgiving when I mess something up.

RUN is quite simplified and easy to use. I'm a small business, so I have other things on my plate, so it's been nice to use a system that doesn't feel complex, and like another thing to have to learn.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

Occasionally there are things that aren't smooth. When I'm updating rates of pay, it seems like sometimes I have to save each field after adding the information, when the screen shows that I can fill in all the fields at once, it actually only lets me fill in one.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recently I started using Connecteam, so transferring payroll to ADP have saved me so much time. Once I figured out how to connect the platforms, the process has been easy!

**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

What I like best about RUN Powered by ADP is how user-friendly and efficient it is. It simplifies payroll processing, making it easy to manage employee payments, taxes, and compliance in one place. I also appreciate the reliability of the system and how it helps reduce errors, saving time and effort. Customer service is excellent. It would only take you 1 - 2 minutes before getting support on the line.  Overall, it streamlines administrative tasks so I can focus more on other important responsibilities.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

One thing I dislike about RUN Powered by ADP is that it can feel a bit limited when it comes to customization and reporting. Some features aren’t as flexible as I’d like, especially when generating specific reports or adjusting settings to fit unique needs. There are also times when the system can be a bit slow or not as intuitive when navigating certain sections, which can affect efficiency.

RUN Powered by ADP helps solve the challenges of managing payroll, tax compliance, and employee records in a consistent and organized way. It automates calculations, tax filings, and payments, which reduces the risk of manual errors and missed deadlines. This benefits me by saving time and minimizing stress, especially when handling payroll for multiple employees. It also gives me confidence that compliance requirements are being met, allowing me to focus more on other priorities instead of worrying about payroll accuracy and government filings. What I like about ADP is that I can use the drag-and-drop feature, which makes many tasks easier when using the interface. I also appreciate secure features such as off-cycle payroll, which allows me to process direct deposits at any time or quickly pay an employee if I accidentally forgot to include them in a payroll.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

One downside of RUN Powered by ADP is that some features are not very intuitive and may require additional steps or contacting support to complete certain tasks. Reporting and customization options can sometimes feel limited, especially when creating specialized reports. In addition, certain services and features come with extra fees, and some payroll corrections or changes may require more manual work than expected. While the platform is generally reliable and user-friendly, navigating between different sections can occasionally be confusing, and integrations with third-party applications are not always as seamless as desired.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One time, my account was temporarily restricted because there were insufficient funds available. After I completed a wire transfer, ADP's support team provided me with all the necessary information and guided me through the process. Later, when I needed to record the payment that had been made outside of the normal payroll process, I contacted support again, and they showed me how to register it correctly in ADP. Their assistance made the process straightforward and easy to manage.

**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

I love how easy it is to use, and how trustworthy it is.  For example, if something seems "off" to the system compared to normal patterns, or it notices a change that might impact my payroll, it will point these out to me so that I can double check them for accuracy.  I also find their customer service to be excellent on the occasions that I have a question or concern.  I find that the system works reliably well, and it does a lot of work for me in the background without me having to think about it.  Some examples are automatically handling IRS transmissions and filing appropriate tax forms, as well as seamlessly handling wage garnishments if/when they arise.  Pricing is very fair for all of the features above, plus more that I don't make use of often but I know they are available, such as HR support.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

I honestly can't think of any downsides to using ADP.  They are a nationally well-known payroll provider, and they have been consistently accurate, helpful, and user-friendly from day one.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ADP RUN makes it very quick and easy to run payroll, while also giving me peace of mind that everything is being handled correctly from a tax perspective.  There is also a lot of flexibility in how you process pay to employees in the event of special circumstances, which their customer service team is happy to help you with if you aren't sure the best way to handle a certain situation.

AFTER MANY YEARS AND MULTIPLE JOBS WORKING WITH / USING ADP, THEY HAVE ALWAYS AND CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SOLID AND FACTUAL INFORMATION AND ANSWERS TO ANY OF MY INQUIRIES. FROM PAYROLL AND TIME KEEPING TO HR AND RETIREMENT SERVICES. EVERYBODY I SPEAK TO IS PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING WITH ME AND MY COLLEAGUES.  THEY CONFIRM THAT I UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY HAVE TOLD ME BEFORE MOVING ON TO A NEW QUESTION OR CONCERN I (OR MY COLLEAGUES) MAY HAVE AT ANY TIME. I HAVE HAD MINIMAL NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES WITH RUN.  WHEN THERE HAVE BEEN CHANGES OR UPGRADES TO THEIR PLATFORM IT TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USED TO BUT OVERALL RUN IS A VERY USER-FRIENDLY PROGRAM.  I AM NOT FOND OF THE QUICKBOOKS DESKTOP INTEGRATION, MAINLY DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF ACCOUNTS MY CURRENT COMPANY HAS.  IT TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO SET UP OUR ADP GL TO EASILY INTEGRATE WITH OUR QB DESKTOP.

RUN HAS HELPED ALL MY COMPANIES BENEFIT FROM QUICK AND PAINLESS PAYROLL, AUDIT REPORTS, WORKERS COMP (ANYTHING) AND HR.  WE ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW FROM ADP RUN.  IT HAS SAVED US SO MUCH TIME (WHICH WE NEED TO NOT FALL BEHIND IN OUR VERY BUSY LINE OF WORK).

**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

Such an easy system to run payroll. For a small business it's an easy interface and simple to learn. I like how I am able to use my phone to run payroll from anywhere I am. When entering the main page or app the main run payroll button is right on the main screen so this a quick way I run payroll right away. Any time I have a question, I can connect to an agent very quick, and they help me right away. It's quick and easy to use overall.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

When looking for something specific like a specific report it does get a little over whelming, but this is only because we are a newer business so the titles of reports, we are just not familiar with. It takes me a while to find the specific thing I am looking for but eventually, I do find it.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just today, I noticed two charges on the same payroll date. I contacted an agent, and she explained what each charge was for and why they were applied. As before, anytime I’ve had a question about anything, I’ve been able to connect with an agent, and they help me figure it out in a timely manner.

**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

I like being able to make changes and get the information I need in real time, without having to rely on an agent for assistance. However, if I do need to speak with someone, the wait time is minimal. The help articles are actually helpful, and I also like that RUN integrates directly with QuickBooks. The interface is easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

As far as the features, there is nothing I dislike about ADP RUN program.  The pricing can hurt the pocket when reviewing how to reduce overhead costs.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find benefits in handling IRS requests for payroll reports. Using the AI portion of ADP RUN has been beneficial to obtaining the proper documents and information when I have to deal with the IRS directly.

I think it´s very user friendly, I also have a very helpful ADP rep and I can always get my questions answered if I call the support. It´s very easy to maintain and run payroll, timekeeping and onboarding

I think it’s been a little annoying getting all the emails from ADP trying to get us to join Total Source. I told my rep about it, and she said she was going to let them know we’re not interested, but I’m still receiving them.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have had a couple of problems with new hires that can´t access the link and I always received quick help. Also some questions about child support withholding and sorts and gotten the help I needed.

I find RUN Powered by ADP very user-friendly and easy to set up. The chat feature is always helpful, allowing me to resolve issues like new hires without having to stop what I'm doing to make a phone call. I can chat and continue my other duties at the same time.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

I do not have anything that I do not like. Run has always been very easy to use. I have used it for about 2 years and so far there have not been any issues.

I find RUN Powered by ADP user-friendly, and its chat feature helps me resolve issues without interrupting my work, like when I needed help with a new hire.

They provide quick support through chat, AI, and live agents. The web and mobile apps are user-friendly as well. When we first started with ADP, the transition was seamless, and their integration support was top-notch.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

Sometimes the wait times for support are extremely long, upwards of 30-45 minutes. And at times, they don’t have easy answers for system glitches, or they can’t provide customized reporting easily.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment, there aren’t any active problems being solved by RUN Powered by ADP, so I can’t really speak to that right now. That said, today they did help by waiving an expedited fee for an off-cycle payroll that was caused by the system (not our error), and we appreciated how quickly they responded and processed it.

**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

I find the reports in RUN Powered by ADP very clear, making it easy to understand the payroll details. Running payroll is straightforward, and entering information is just a breeze. I love the reminder every payroll week. The 'payroll details' section is particularly helpful when doing journal entries at the end of the month, as it provides all the necessary information. It's also great to have the payroll liabilities feature, which helps me keep track of expenses. Setting up RUN Powered by ADP was really easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

When I run the payroll and don't have to pay a full-time employee because they didn't work the full 80 hours, if I only input 35 hours, the amount doesn't change. This forced me to cancel the payroll, and once it's canceled, it's not clear what to do next. I had to call ADP to get instructions, and they said I should run a payroll at zero to annul the first one, but that information isn't clear or written anywhere.

I use RUN Powered by ADP for payroll, getting clear reports, and cancelling wrong payrolls. It's easy to run payroll and enter data. The reminders every payroll week and 'payroll details' for journal entries are very helpful.

What I find most helpful about RUN Powered by ADP is how seamless and user-friendly the entire payroll process is. It simplifies payroll management by automatically handling payroll tax calculations, filings, and payments, which saves time and helps ensure accuracy and compliance. Having those tax responsibilities managed for me provides peace of mind and allows me to focus more on running my business instead of worrying about payroll administration.

One downside of RUN Powered by ADP is the limited flexibility when it comes to funding payroll with a credit card. It would be helpful to have the option to cover payroll expenses using a credit card when needed for short-term cash flow management.

**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

The thing I like the most about this software is that it's easy to use and very intuitive to use. The way the software is laid out, is similar to other web applications with a menu bar in the left to jump to different sections. The software also provides reminders such as if it's a holiday coming up and payroll has to be submitted earlier. I also like that any questions I have I can easily call and get a person. I can call if I have questions about the software and using it, or call if I have a HR question. We use this software for payroll, keeping track of employee records, and workers comp insurance. The software does have integrations with other platforms and software, but we do not use this feature yet. Overall the performance of the software is very reliable. When it does maintenance, it is overnight and outside of business hours. There is a banner at the top of the software that announces any upcoming planned maintenance. The pricing of the software if fair for everything it provides. Having that number to call for HR support has been huge, and allowed our business to not have to hire a dedicated HR person which is a huge return in investment for the business. The software does have AI features, but we do not use these yet. However I feel confident that we will use it in the future as it learns our business and our trends with payroll.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

The downsides can be the wait times on the phone. 90% of the time I call, I am able to speak with a person within two minutes. However at the end of the year and beginning of the year, the wait times can be up to 45 minutes. Another thing I dislike, is that we constantly get calls to try to upsell us on other services. I appreciate that they have other services, but when I tell them no, they come back a few months later to try to upsell the same services.

This software helps us find the best workers comp insurance which saves us countless hours of research. This software makes payroll easy for us which saves us hours on doing payroll with some other platform. We also use this platform for all HR related issues. I really like how easy it is to navigate RUN Powered by ADP through the app and website. Everything is organized in tabs, making it easy to add employees and manage manual checks. It's really organized and easy to use, which helps make payroll super fast, super quick, and super easy. We can get it all done in just a few hours. The transition to using it was very smooth, and it's easy to understand after a few days. I like that everything is organized on the side, and when you click on a symbol, it tells you what it is, like 'report' or 'payroll,' making it really easy to navigate.

The payroll register is probably the part of RUN I value most. I use it as a reference point for checking deductions and reconciling payroll totals with our accounting records. Having payroll history available also helps when I need to trace a figure during month-end work. The UI/UX matters to me mainly because I need to find those records and reports without wasting effort navigating around. I wouldn't choose a payroll system based on AI or intelligence features, though. Those can be useful in principle, but they don't replace an accountant reviewing payroll liabilities and confirming that the numbers agree with the books.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

One area I’d like to see become stronger is the support experience when a payroll question falls outside the routine process. RUN handles the standard payroll work well enough for my needs, but an unusual accounting or payroll question can require more clarification than I’d prefer. I’m fairly comfortable investigating numbers myself, so this isn't something that causes major disruption, but I do notice the difference when I need a precise answer rather than general guidance. More direct support for those less common situations would make the product more useful from an accounting perspective. I don't need constant assistance; I’d mainly value having a dependable path to a specific answer when something falls outside the normal workflow.

A problem we had was keeping payroll information consistent when employee details changed. Small changes could mean checking more than one place and making sure the updated information was reflected correctly before payroll was processed. RUN Powered by ADP gave us a more centralized process for maintaining those employee Details, which reduced the amount of back-and-forth checking I had to do. The benefit isn't dramatic every single day, But it becomes noticeable when several employee records need attention around the same period. I spend less time wondering whether I’m working from an outdated Record. There’s still a manual check involved, which I prefer anyway, but the process is more controlled than what we had previously.

I've used a couple other payroll services that are extremely difficult to track down specifics about past paychecks or obtain W2's. I can also chat with someone either on the phone or the text box right on the home page, which makes solving any particular issues simple.

Some employee side issues. I have an employee who works at a different site than me and works primarily in a kitchen with fast paced high turnover. He's unable to access his personal account and for some reason I'm required to make a three way call while he's trying to log in to troubleshoot together. I don't understand how I can't authorize an employee to troubleshoot only his own account.

I have had issues with 1099's because we only have bands that count. They're one time, 3 hour employees that qualify for 1099's and it's annoying to file for them, but ADP has simplified it for me over the years.

RUN is very easy to use. Our time tracking integrates, as does our 401(K), so I just have to input my payroll numbers that vary each time. It's very easy to get tax jurisdictions set up and the customer support is incredibly easy to use. There is rarely a wait and they almost always can help within a few minutes.

The Custom Reports are limited. There are pre-created reports to select from, but sometimes when I need to put census data together, I have to pull from multiple reports and individual employee pages. The custom reports lack flexibility and the filters aren't helpful.

After doing my small business' payroll myself for nearly 37 years, when I relocated to New York my new accountant recommended I use ADP for payroll. I should have done it sooner. It is so simple and not having to worry about all of the requisite forms that need to be filed for the State and IRS has truly saved me an incredible amount of time. I have also had wonderful experiences with the customer service agents on the rare occasions where I didn't know how to find some information (workers comp audit) on the site. I highly recommend using ADP to any small business that is doing payroll related things themselves, it's a huge timesaver and the cost is not overly expensive.

I've been using the program for two years now and so far I have no complaints. If I face a glitch or something I don't know how to do, a quick call to an agent gets me on track.

If needed, the chat support can take possession of my screen, guiding me through the mechanism to fix the problem, which effectively communicates the necessary steps and serves as good instruction.

I love that RUN Powered by ADP takes care of everything for me when I input my payroll totals, including taxes and workers' compensation. Anytime I have a question or run into a snag, I can call ADP, and customer service always helps me until my question is answered, which I really appreciate. The seamless payroll process saves me a lot of time since I only have to input the numbers twice a month and don't have to think about the rest, allowing me to focus on what matters. I also found the initial setup great, with all the support I needed to get everything going and to understand the process.

When im running payroll and click on deductions or any other item, I cannot change to any of the other update profile items within the same screen. When I click save it brings me back to the main payroll screen. I would like to update multiple things within the person when in payroll screen like I can when i go to the people option from the main menu.

The chat feature representatives are amazing and always help me resolve any issues or answer my questions without having to explain too much. It is fast and efficient.

They are easy to use and they have really good support. I don't have any specifics on integrations but the performance is good. The pricing is also priced very fairly for such a large company that does so much. I don't currently use the AI very much but any time I've tried to use it, it didn't work great, so I usually just transfer to a human.

My experience onboarding with them has been a nightmare. If I hadn't used them before and knew the other benefits, I might have cancelled.

It's very streamlined and easy to use. The last payroll company had a very confusing to use software and ADP is not complicated. It's laid out in an easy to use way. Their support is also awesome, the other company we used was terrible at support and we even paid extra to have an individual representative and ADP has by far been better than our previous company in support.

I like the ease and reports that RUN Powered by ADP offers. We just started going paperless, which is wonderful. Every employee was able to get on the app on their device, and they can get their check stubs themselves, so employees are not asking me to print their stubs anymore. It feels great that everyone is already on direct deposit, making the transition even smoother. Also, I appreciate the ability to run reports between years, which has been a wonderful change.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

CALLING IN FOR HELP IS DIFFICULT- BUT CHATTING IS VERY EASY & HELPFUL. COULD BE COSTLY FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. It could be costly but they offer discounts for longterm customers!

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use RUN Powered by ADP to pay employees and avoid processing taxes and quarterly returns, making payroll easier. The reports are great. We currently have to input into Excel and is making some new tasks our CPA has had us do more efficient!

I like that RUN Powered by ADP is fast and efficient. The addition of importing through AI for timesheets has been excellent, even though there are still some kinks to work out. It works very well and makes my time easier since I don't have to manually key in everyone's hours. It's very user friendly, and with all the updates that have been happening lately, it's even easier.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

I'm gonna say the new hire documentation. Such as when I upload a sheet onto there for the employees to finish, I wish that if the employee didn't finish it, I could go in there and select it and finish it for them, without it leaving a little yellow yield symbol on there. I tried to do the integration, but the amount of money for the Homebase integration, I didn't wanna have to pay for Homebase. I used the basic service, and then I'd have to pay for an API to get Homebase into ADP, and I didn't wanna do that.

I find RUN Powered by ADP solves my payroll and new hire paperwork issues, providing all the basic stuff I need for payroll.

I really like the ease of timecards, payroll, PTO entry, and location verification with RUN Powered by ADP. It's been great for making the time entry simpler for staff, allowing them to easily clock in and out with just a button. I can monitor all the entries online, and the integration of information into payroll for final review and entry has been seamless. The initial setup was pretty easy too, which was another plus.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

I would like the payroll screen to be more customizable. The fact that I can't get rid of columns that I don't need to see, or at least reorganize them, is ridiculous and shrinks the section I actually need to a small window that requires a lot of back and forth scrolling.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RUN Powered by ADP makes time entry easy for staff, allows me to check and edit times, and simplifies payroll processing. Staff can clock in/out seamlessly, and I can monitor and import time data into payroll smoothly.

**What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?**

The support you have when you have a question or issue with the program. I was able to call someone and quickly get a fix to my issue. The time sheets are easy to understand and make doing payroll a breeze. The ability to have my team clock in and out on their cell phones makes it easy for them to track their hours since we are on the road most of the time. The price of the program is reasonable for all the features we are able to take advantage of between clock in and out and reports we need for the state and government.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

The sales calls I get for other programs when I did not ask for it. Send an email and if I am interested I would reach out.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The clock in and out feature helps me track the accuracy in payroll at the end of the week. The RUN program makes it easy for me to fix errors they make and make sure that I cover all the hours they work. The program then tells me the total cost for the payroll so that I am sure that there is enough money in the bank. My partner is able to grab the reports easily so he can put them into our Quickbooks account.

I am able to see when an employee has missed a clock-in or clock-out. It lets me know as soon as an employee is on OT, and all of our information is found on the RUN home page.

I have not run into any issues that I dislike. If I were to think of one thing, it would be the frequency of the run updates for employees. But I understand why there are so many.

I do not have to sit for 2 to 3 hours every week calculating hours, looking for PTO in different files, and all of the time-consuming processes that go along with calculating timecards weekly. We just have to do a quick check and give the okay for the hours to be approved. We are still in control;l of our hours, but don't have to do all of the extra calculating.

Support has been awesome when I have questions or issues with RUN. It's really easy to use, and I love that I can check it on my phone.  I was at another company before ADP, and it lacked so many of the features that I now use.

There's not a lot to dislike about RUN; the only thing I would improve is not having to go through all the prompts when you call in for support.  Other than that, its pretty seamless.

I had issues with my 401 (k) deductions, but they were able to help me and my accountant get them sorted.  I've also accidentally deleted payroll dates that they were quick to restore for me.

RUN by ADP is an easy format for submitting payroll. My favorite aspect is the 24-7-365 support. Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to answering questions or resolving issues.

The only thing I dislike is the marketing, although it has improved since I spoke up! People from ADP used to call and email frequently, often repeating the same sales pitches. It's been quiet recently though, so I appreciate that.

RUN allows me to track employee HR, payroll, benefit, and tax data with helpful reports and categorization. It also helps with the onboarding of new employees, making the process easy and thorough.

ADP RUN is very easy to use and navigate, and it comes with great customer service. Support is available at all times, whether I’m opening a case, calling in, or using the chat.

The least helpful aspect of ADP Run is that the reporting isn’t always as precise as my organization needs. I think it would work best if we had more flexibility to manipulate custom reports.

We’re currently onboarding multiple employees at the same time, and ADP Run is helping us stay organized and on track with all of our onboarding tasks. It also notifies us when a task hasn’t been completed on the employee’s end, which helps us keep everything moving.

Timecard tracking is really easy, and generating payroll from there is a breeze. Customer support has been solid as well—they respond to chat messages very quickly and have resolved most of the issues I’ve run into.

We use ADP Run on a daily basis to check timecards, time off, location, and other details, and it makes it simple to stay on top of everything.

**What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?**

The mobile app on the phone has been missing a lot of punches. It isn’t always reliable for tracking time, and I’m not sure whether there’s a bug in the system that’s causing problems with the timecards. This seems like a new issue, because before this I didn’t have any problems with the system. I also can’t tell if it’s related to software maintenance or a recent update.

**What problems is RUN Powered by ADP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking employee time is easy and always at their fingertips with the mobile app. It’s also simple to access employee information, and employees can manage their own time-off requests and download their tax information without any hassle.
