My title is kind of goofy, idk if there are other asynchronous audio tools. But that is maybe what makes Rumble so good. It specializes in one thing and excels at it. If you are doing a podcast, or any interview style audio then you want to check this out. You can send out questions and they can answer the questions on their own time. I have tried editing audio files in the past for the same basic outcome and it is a mess. Rumble makes it easy, and might be a category of one. Hard to find much to not like here. I recently purchased Rumble Studio and I am so glad I did! As someone who lives in Australia and often needs to conduct interviews with people from all around the world, coordinating times is often a challenge. But with Rumble Studio, finding suitable times is now a breeze! Not only does Rumble Studio make scheduling interviews a breeze, but it also helps improve the recording quality of my interviews. My guests can now listen to their recording and re-record with improved quality. This has significantly improved my recordings and I'm so thankful for this product! Rumble Studio is a great product that solves multiple issues for me and saves me a lot of time. I did have a minor issue with the logo selection not being as intuitive as I would have liked, but the support team addressed it quickly and it's already been added to their roadmap for improvements. It facilitates asynchronous interviews with podcast guests who don't have to be "live" with me, or even in the same room/studio at the same time. A link to my "interview" can be sent in an email, or via Twitter, a QR code, embedded in a website, etc. The guest can then answer the interview questions, at his or her convenience, with audio and or video, and upload documents, photos, etc. This eliminates the problems of calendar conflicts, time zone differences, and so on. I can then "mix" the interview responses by dragging and dropping answers, jingles, etc., and then export the podcast to be published or further edited. It's a game-changer! (How could it be better? Sure, in a perfect world, it might offer podcast hosting, in-app audio editing, etc. It is my understanding that some of these features are in progress or planned, according to Rumble Studio's Roadmap - but, to be clear, I am more than happy with the software in its present state). The only option was "Podcast Hosting". To be clear, however, Rumble Studio does not provide podcast "hosting". It is a tool that allows asynchronous interviewing of podcast guests. The interview answers and any uploaded audio/video, documents, etc. can be "mixed" and ultimately exported into a finished podcast (which can then be hosted with a separate podcast host). What problems does Rumble Studio solve? A big problem is the logistics of scheduling a "live" interview with a guest - especially if you hope to do the interview in person in your studio. Calendar conflicts, time zone problems, travel issues, etc. are all solved by the use of Rumble Studio. The software also eliminates anxiety that a guest may feel when being interviewed live. It also significantly reduces the amount of editing, because the interview questions and the guest's answers are well thought-out ahead of time. The guest can respond to the interview at his or her convenience, in the comfort of his or her own home or office, and answers can be re-recorded until the guest is happy with the answer. Creating a podcast is hard work that takes a lot of time - preparation, gathering responses from your host, mixing, final editing, etc. Sometimes your hosts don't have the time that suits you, so you can't create a life podcast. Rumble studio works well. You prepare the questions, send them via a URL link to the host, and he can answer all the questions at home when it is most convenient for him. This is a good tool but once you log in it feels like it's a beta product. It's very powerful but I would personally higher some designers just to make sure it looks great. For example, we also use yellow color based on our brand identity and we had to change it because it looked pretty bad especially on a small device like a phone. Rumble Studio uses yellow color for titles and headlines as well. It's not readable. Another thing is I would love to see more options for sharing. Like a button? That way we can have a button on our Podcast website and when you click on it then it comes up with a pop-up asking you to fill up the form. Rumble Studio works pretty well. I personally love that I can prepare my questions, send it to host and just wait until he sends it back to us. I am an independent consultant and do not want to spend all my time doing marketing activities. So I decided to start podcasting because I know people are more interested in listening than reading. I have tried many ways to promote myself with varying success. We have been using Rumble Studio for several months now and love it! It’s so easy to use and makes it super simple to start recording podcasts. The ability to add questions and then invite others to join in on the conversation is great too. Highly recommend! Rumble is an awesome product that allows us to easily record and publish audio content without having to schedule calls, spend massive amounts of time editing, or waste productivity structuring each interview. Rumble Studio makes it easy to get started with structuring a podcast. It's designed to have a 'live' feel but doesn't require you to actually be on a call with someone. You set up your questions, record them (or just let the guest read them), and invite guests to record their responses to the questions. When you're finished, you get each of the recordings, but also one bigger recording with everything combined (after you've put it all together, which is a simple drag & drop process). Using asynchronous interviews allows the guest to start when they are ready on their own, making it much easier to invite someone to be on a podcast without the pressure of being live. Also, you don’t need to set a scheduled time or reschedule cancelations. There are a lot of use cases with this app besides podcasts; one is you could use this for collecting audio responses instead of text forms. They plan on adding video recording for the creators and guests. This will open up a lot of possibilities for content creation. I would probably further edit the video beyond just the raw files that the guest would upload to make it more engaging on platforms like YouTube. I see this as the future of a large part of podcasting and content creation. Think about how many more podcasts or interviews you could create or be a guest on with this type of scheduling. The idea behind Rumble Studio will help create more content and make it easier for you and your guests, if your subject works well with asynchronous interviews. For example, for business interviews it'll be great. For a podcast on well-being you might want to get the conversation flowing in real time instead. This is not now possible and is not the road they are pursuing, which is good for them, but sad for us! Hopefully another aynchronous app like this will come out for video, or they'll understand the power of video (which is the N1 content consumed on the web) and develop the feature, that'll make Rumble Studio the best investment ever for me.
