**What do you like best about Ruler Analytics?**

Ruler Analytics has allowed us to make more informed decisions about our marketing strategy. It tracks Form fills, Phone Calls (Online & Offline) and even Web Chat conversations! 

We now know which Paid campaigns/ keywords are bringing the most revenue (vs spend) and we can now use data-driven decisions when managing our PPC budget(s).

**What do you dislike about Ruler Analytics?**

Only a small point but the setup and integration with Salesforce could be simpler if there was a managed package to install. However, I appreciate not all Ruler Analytics clients will use Salesforce.

**What problems is Ruler Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to segment our Leads, Opportunities, Sales and Revenue by marketing channel. Tracking calls allowed us to understand the impact of inbound calls, but we used other methods to generate leads. So, while we understood our traffic, we didn’t know our true return on investment (ROI) before we started using Ruler’s marketing analytics tool.

**What do you like best about Ruler Analytics?**

Seeing the detail of every form submission and phone call, from what source, the duration of the call and the pages that led to a conversion is a real eye-opener. I've worked with Ruler for 15 years on and off, and when we have collaborated, it's been incredibly useful to my clients and really does expose the referring sources that are working best and helps to inform the wider digital marketing strategy. A must for any lead-gen business.

It can be difficult to get clients to use this data as frequently and thoroughly as they should do - getting buy-in is sometimes a challenge. But persevering provides invaluable results.

the platform fixed our attribution modeling. It does everything in the backend and requires no human intervention. Data as and when we need it. It also integrates really well will Google, Bing & Hubspot etc...

Account manager is really responsive and always happy to help.

Ruler gives us that link between online and offline, enabling us to make educated decisions on our marketing efforts, it's a real game changer! It's become an integral part of our day to day analaysis. Customer support are always rapid in response too. Great bit of tech.

Niggles like 90 day window on analysing data has been addressed in the new UI. I would say there could be more hand holding rather than self fact finding.

Solving the Inbound call tracking in the very best way. In terms of marketing analytic, GA4 gives information but when it comes to strategies, Ruler helps us to understand it in a better way. Explain each term in very detail.

The lack of complexity. It makes complex call tracking easy to integrate, and the webhooks allow data to be delivered to our centralised reporting system in near-real time.

**What do you dislike about Ruler Analytics?**

Access to a full API - not just the webhooks - would be useful. Also, ordering static numbers requires a form to be submitted. It'd be better if the platform allowed these to be self-provisioned by the user.

Ruler provides us with much more insight into where leads have come from and enables us to make more informed marketing decisions about where media should be bought in relation to our objectives.

**What do you dislike about Ruler Analytics?**

Whilst Ruler solves an issue we have, the only downside is total end to end attribution, which isn't readily available as you can only see first and last click of the user journey. I'd love to see the solution evolve to allow us to comprehensively track and group specific journey's and analyse this in more detail, from first point of contact all the way through to enquiry.

Ruler enables us to gain more visibility over inbound enquiries and the the importance of specific platforms through the user journey. We use this across a number of our clients, tying in with active marketing campaigns and analytics reporting.

Online portal where you can view calls and the marketing attribution, integration with our Zoho CRM and responsiveness of the team when we have certain requests.

The only problematic issue is the 4 hour delay between phone calls and the API integration with our CRM though we have a work around in place.

If marketing attribution is important to you and you do not have the budget for enterprise-level software, that Ruler is the best option out there.

As a B2B agency, proving marketing ROI to our clients is crucial. But with all the different tech stacks that they use combined with the complexity of their sales process, setting up a marketing attribution system has been a headache for us. We've researched dozens of other tools to help us close the loop. Unfortunately, none of them could fit our budget quite like Ruler did.

Thanks to Alex and the team at Ruler, setting up our tracking system has been a breeze! We were able to develop an ROI report to prove our marketing contributions and secure a larger marketing investment from one of our clients. It's only been a couple of months but we already see tremendous value from the software. We expect to roll this out for our other clients as well. The call reporting is our most used feature of Ruler Analytics. As an agency, we recommend Ruler to our clients as most clients have an issue with attributing calls back to marketing channels. Ruler allows us to seamlessly attribute calls and report on the performance of marketing channels with easy integration to Google Analytics.

**What do you dislike about Ruler Analytics?**

One of the downsides of Ruler is that some clients are attached to their phone number and don't want users seeing different numbers. Implementation can sometimes be a bit tricky, in particular when clients don't have a competent web developer and we try and add it on with Google Tag Manager. The majority of our use of Ruler is through integration with Google Analytics and Data Studio but if we use the interface sometimes it can be a bit buggy.

Ruler Analytics has made us realise how much data can go missed when phone calls are not being tracked and how marketing channels can be vastly underestimated when you do not see the full picture. Revenue and lead tracking. Ruler Analytics' integration with CRMs allows us to track revenue and leads from our PPC campaigns. It allows us to demonstrate ROI so we can grow accounts, scale results and retain clients better.

There isn't the functionality to compare data from different time periods within the dashboard - something to GA would be beneficial.

First of all, the support that we got during the onboarding was super proactive. Secondly, our existing attribution implementation worked only for ~50% of the leads. Ruler Analytics helped us improve our attribution to 90%+ leads.

Dashboard UI is slow to load, but that could be because of the higher count of leads.

2. The attribution is as deep as we need it to be, I can then drill down on key information, i.e. where are they from, how many times they've visited the site, what brought them to the site.
3. Their customer service is next level, they patiently helped us get started with their platform, plus helped with integrations.

Ruler was a great attribution tool that allowed us to view closed revenue against marketing touchpoints. Our team could prove how marketing campaigns and channels were driving inbound revenue, even if users were converting via form, phone or live chat.

They're building more model types which would be useful to see so you can better aggregate data.

**What do you like best about Ruler Analytics?**

Ruler Analytics is an easy-to-use visitor-level analytics software that enables account managers and clients to get the full picture of their customer journey and identify what does or doesn't work for a given marketing channel, through the call and conversion metrics in their keyword feature, to ensure you are getting the most out of your marketing efforts.

**What do you dislike about Ruler Analytics?**

It can be difficult to track how performance has improved over a given time period within the interface due to the lack of a date range comparison feature.

**Recommendations to others considering Ruler Analytics:**

Very useful to use alongside Google Analytics and  AdWords, especially if you have implemented UTM tagging and imported the call tracking conversions back into Google Analytics.

**What problems is Ruler Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an account manager it can be difficult to articulate the true value of the work you have done to clients, as tracking which traffic sources are generating phone enquiries can often prove problematic. However, Ruler has provided a practical and fully-integrated solution to this problem whilst identifying high value leads that might have slipped through the cracks.

Ruler touches on areas of analytics that Google does not. A huge benefit myself and clients have had is the "Companies" section of Ruler. The ease of implementing call tracking on most platforms.

Definitely worth digital marketing agencies getting installed on their customers sites. Also a very powerful tool for businesses who operate B2B marketing.
