I think the UX can use some improvement. Sometimes I find glitches in the dashboard or latency in UI reflecting latest changes. I like Rubrik because it is easy to use and offers fast backup and recovery. I also appreciate the cloud integration and disaster recovery features, which allow it to work with major cloud platforms for backup. The ability to replicate backup to other locations adds another layer of security and convenience. Additionally, I find the reporting and monitoring capabilities valuable. I find Rubrik to be a solid performer for cloud and on-prem backups, and it's simple enough to implement. Its management, especially with Rubrik Security Cloud, is straightforward once learned. I really like Rubrik's ransomware defense because it lets us set a baseline and comes with a warranty that instills confidence. Additionally, its strong backup capabilities are crucial for us in preventing ransomware attacks. The best part about rubrik is just how much time it saves to a team on a daily basis. The SLA based protection is a total game changed when compared to the old school backup jobs. I dont have to worry about whether a job is finished or not because the dashboard is actually clear + the instant recovery has saved us more than once when a dev accidentaly deleted the database. If I had to pick something, it's definitely the cost. Rubrik is expensive product. It is sometimes hard to justify the price of it, especially because it looks like you're paying for a lot of security features that maybe not needed for everyone. I was initially told this would work with my existing Kubernetes infrastructure, but that later changed to requiring dedicated infrastructure. Security had a fit about the change, since it effectively becomes a black box.
