"Seamless Integration Speeds Up Data Recovery"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rubrik?

I like the seamless integration of Rubrik. It's awesome that we can update it instantaneously as part of an automatic rollout. What I think I like most about it is that it's a seamless handoff. Since CrowdStrike's focus is speed, seeing Rubrik pick up where we leave off and able to have data collection as fast as possible is really big for a lot of customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rubrik?

I think a little bit more visibility. I hear that sometimes customers are struggling to understand a little bit about what data was encrypted in the first place and know, what data had to be recovered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Backup Management and Reliable Performance"
4/5
What do you like best about Rubrik?

I use Rubrik for backup and recovery management because it's simple and powerful. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to get started and manage backups without spending much time on onboarding. I find the backup and recovery performance to be reliable, and the automation features significantly reduce manual efforts and human errors. Its centralized visibility tool is great for quickly monitoring backup health and identifying issues. The initial setup was straightforward and smooth, thanks to the user-friendly interface. What do you dislike about Rubrik?

Rubrik works very well overall, but some advanced configurations and reporting features could be more flexible and customizable. Initial setup and integration for certain environments can also take time, especially with larger infrastructure. The reporting dashboard could provide more options to customize according to team requirements and use cases, like role-based reports showing backup status, failures, and recovery metrics for specific applications or infrastructure teams without requiring manual filtering each time. "Rubrik Tackles Critical Data Security and Resilience at Scale"
4/5
What do you like best about Rubrik?

What I like best about Rubrik is that they’re working on problems that actually matter at scale — data security, ransomware recovery, cloud backup, and resilience. It’s not just another CRUD product.

I also like that the engineering side seems very infrastructure-heavy, which aligns with my interest in backend systems and distributed architecture. Building reliable systems that enterprises depend on during critical failures is genuinely interesting to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rubrik?

One concern I’ve heard about Rubrik is that, because they operate in a very fast-moving and high-growth space, the environment can be quite intense and expectations can be high. That can be great for learning, but it also means there’s pressure to move quickly and handle complex problems consistently.

That said, I actually see it as a tradeoff rather than a pure negative, because companies solving large-scale infrastructure and security problems usually operate with a high ownership culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Data Backup and Recovery with Rubrik"
4/5
What do you like best about Rubrik?

Rubrik is a lifesaver for IT teams because it makes backing up data incredibly simple. It completely blocks ransomware from deleting or changing your files, meaning your data is always safe. If a system crashes, its "Live Mount" feature lets you restore everything and get back to work in minutes rather than hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rubrik?

Highly expensive and uses a rigid appliance model that forces you to buy more hardware nodes even if you only need extra storage space. Administrators also report that the built-in reporting dashboards lack deep customization, and the platform offers limited support for legacy physical hardware or niche, open-source databases compared to its competitors. The best things about Rubrik is its zero-trust data protection and ease of use. The platform enables auto backups, which makes them unchangeable and safe from ransomware—while allowing IT teams to easily manage complex, multi-cloud environments from a single console. "Enterprise-Grade Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery in One Zero-Trust Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Rubrik?

The best thing I like about Rubrik is that it provides enterprise data protection, ransomware recovery, and business continuity. When Rubrik is in place, it feels like a zero-trust platform that brings all our threat protection together in a single place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rubrik?

Customers frequently report high renewal costs, along with unpredictable pricing spikes as their data footprint scales. The platform also favors standardized automation through SLA domains, which can make it difficult for teams with highly complex, customized backup workflows to fine-tune specific metrics. "Modern, Intuitive UI That Makes Restores and SLGreat UI and rapid restores"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rubrik?

Honestly, the UI/UX is what caught our attention first. We moved off a legacy product that still relied on a clunky, outdated console. Rubrik is modern, web-based, and incredibly intuitive. You don't need a 40-hour training course to figure out how to restore a file or set up an SLA domain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rubrik?

Pricing is the elephant in the room. It’s absolutely a premium enterprise product, and the initial cost can be a tough pill to swallow during budget season. If you are a smaller SMB, it might be hard to justify the spend.

Also, while the dashboard is great, if you need highly granular, custom audit reports for compliance, the native reporting can feel a bit basic. We sometimes have to lean on their API and script it out to get the exact data cuts our auditors want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplified Backup Management with Modern, User-Friendly UI"
4/5
What do you like best about Rubrik?

I like Rubrik's simple UI with a modern feel compared to other backup tools like Veeam. The policy-based backups make it easy to manage, automating tasks like schedules and retentions, which reduces the manual effort. Additionally, the initial setup of Rubrik is pretty straightforward based on my experience with demos and what I've worked through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rubrik?

I haven't used it deeply yet since we aren't using it in prod yet, my eyes have mostly been on things that we already look for in general. But looks like some configs, and license-pricing aren't very clear and needs a bit of studying I guess. I don't have any specific suggestions since I haven't evaluated enough. But clearer guidance on some like SLA config for first timers and more straightforward explanation on licensing could help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Rubrik?

It provide simplicity, reliability, and excellent performance in backup and recovery task. Its UI is very clean and user friendly make it easy to manage backups, monitor jobs, and restore workloads. Routine administrative tasks are straightforward and saves time for IT teams.

Its major advantage is its integration with cloud platforms and enterprise applications which allow centralized management across hybrid infra.

In terms of pricing and ROI, automation and reduced administrative task overhead help justify the investment by lowering operational effort and improving resilience. Its another positive side is its support team responsiveness is excellent and onboarding experience which is very smooth.

Rubrik, also have AI and Intelligence capabilities for ransomware detection, anomaly monitoring and proactive insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rubrik?

One of the area about rubrik is pricing is slighly higher for smaller organization or startups with limited backup need. Couple of advance feature require additional licensing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Confident, Secure Backup and Recovery Across On-Prem and Cloud"

We primarily use Rubrik for data backup and recovery, as well as to strengthen cyber resilience across our infrastructure.

Rubrik helps us protect workloads across on-premises systems, virtual environments, and cloud platforms through a single, integrated platform. Its biggest advantage is the confidence that our data stays secure and recoverable—especially in scenarios like ransomware attacks, accidental deletions, or unexpected system failures.
