I am a cold war baby and even attended college when the Soviet Union was still a formidable superpower. When I realised that the Russian Top-Level Domain registrar was offering .SU TLD domains in addition to .RU, I was sold. I own two .SU domains. They offer virtual hosting - a platform for any website with access to control panels and free SSL certificate. One can easily choose location for the website which is convenient. The one downside is the pricing of their plans and packages that are pricey and may lack flexibility. Also their customer support lacks competence, one can experience quite a few delays when communicating with the technical support team over the phone.
