By capturing your registrant information online, you get back the time to actually work on your event. It is easy to use and requires no special training. ## rsvpBOOK Reviews ### 1. Works well, good technical support. **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Karen Z. | Volunteer Registrar; Otherwise, retired., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2019 **What do you like best about rsvpBOOK?** What I like best is the transaction fee: 3/4 of a percent plus a couple of dollars.. We sell registrations to our annual conference. We are very low volume and therefore pay high CC fees. Our reg fees for a 3 day conference are around $500. If you add 2-3 % to the 3%+ that MC/Visa et al charge, the fee becomes exorbitant, i.e., $40 instead of $20. Even $20 is high for most people. In my research rsvpbook was unique in this price structure. It is very advantageous for selling big ticket items. The extra $2-3 flat rate added to the percentage is a relatively small part of the total charge in this scenario. It would not be so advantageous for small-ticket low-volume items. It is pretty easy to learn and worked well for us. Tech support by email is very responsive, often in minutes, though not 24x7. You can also call but I never needed to. **What do you dislike about rsvpBOOK?** I expected there to be online documentation. There is, but it is for very old versions of the software. It became clear to me after months, that they have built in explanations where you click a question mark icon next to each feature and you get a pop-up box explaining how to use it. Further questions should be addressed to tech support. They should have made clear that was the strategy and removed access to the on-line documentation. **Recommendations to others considering rsvpBOOK:** Don't be bashful about using tech support. They are very helpful. And in a few cases, I identified bugs that they fixed--the problem is not always you. They appreciate feedback. **What problems is rsvpBOOK solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our prior registration provider was sunsetted and we needed to find a new one at not too much cost, since registration fees were already high. rsvpBook did this for us. There are cheaper solutions but they did not have the functionality we needed--which isn't a lot--but they would have been a straight-jacket because customization was so limited. The registrar for our sister conference also liked my choice in rsvpBOOK. ### 2. Customer support is amazing as well They are so helpful and will help you with new ideas to maximize your attendance. ` **What do you dislike about rsvpBOOK?** I did have some challenges with setting my event up, however once I got passed that it was well worth it! **Recommendations to others considering rsvpBOOK:** Try it in a smaller event so that you understand all the ins and outs before jumping to a convention like event.
