Often customers create new accounts or link to wrong accounts when they sign up online and don't put their account number in. It needs to have better insturctions for customers how to create an account and not just let them sign up with a new one. This had added a lot of extra work for our customers service department spending endless hours on the phone fixing customers' accounts every day deterring us from doing our regular jobs. Honestly it has caused more problems for our department in Customer Service but for the company has drummed up sales I'm sure for people that want those extra savings coupons to clip on because these days everyone is looking to save money with the inflation of grocery costs. SecurID provides the most secure way of accessing because of hosting it inside a DMZ. Soft tokens are the better because it can be installed on handheld devices as well as desktop and laptops. The software is very to easy and reachable for any kind of user, you do not need to be a tech savant to use this one, even though it has several menus specialized on different functions. It was mandatory for agents to authenticate in order to start working from the remote server, but it had so many issues sometimes (mostly the RSA tokens) that we had to go through an easy but repetitive troubleshoot. Before current MFA solution(PingID), we have been using RSA token as MFA factor. We have providing 2FA security to all SSO integrated applications through RSA token access but not it has been decommissioned from our project and it's been more than 6 months. When I joined this organization and project, RSA was in use. The best part I like about RSA is it's simplicity. It's so simple to use. You just need to remember passcode(RSA Token) and will be get authenticated - Statiic Code. In case of dynamic code, you have to remember a fixed PIN and at the time of authentication you need to generate random code through the RSA tool installed over the system using fixed PIN and you need to use both(PIN+Passcode). There are some things which I did not like about RSA when it was in use. first was, it's console called RSA console. When I was as RSA administrator and I had to manage use RSA profile. I used to login RSA console many time(more than 40 times in a day) and because of the session expiration time was very low,it was hectic for me. on interval of 1 or 2 minitues, session had to expire and I had to login again. It was time taken for me. second thing I did not like about RSA is, a user can multiple RSA access tokens to use. It sploits our organization security. Suppose a user forgets his/her access token, they can raise request to provide another token that is fine but if user can have multiple tokens at the same time, that should not be the case. I faced many problems. When I used to manage user's RSA profiles because I was an administrator, sometimes I felt that I can not fully alter user's RSA profile and I faced sometimes user's RSA profile were automatically deleted evey they had not requested yet. When I checked in the logs found that it has been deleted by RSA console through some RSA sync jobs.
