RouteCalc is a web-based route cost calculator for European road freight, built for quoting rather than navigation. Enter a truck (40 t, 12 t or 7.5 t; Euro 6, 5 or 3; dry or reefer) and up to 10 stops, and get distance, driving time, tolls, vignettes, fuel litres and cost, and CO2, broken down per country across 49 European countries. Romania's TollRo charge is included on Romanian kilometres from 1 October 2026. Pricing teams upload an Excel file with hundreds or thousands of routes and download the same file with the full cost per route. Route Synergy pairs routes to cut empty kilometres. An intermodal calculator covers 1,671 terminals and 773 scheduled rail services. A fuel surcharge calculator applies contract fuel clauses on weekly EU reference prices. Developers get a public REST API and an MCP server for AI assistants, documented with OpenAPI 3.1. Free: 5 guest calculations, then 20 credits after signup, no card. Plans from EUR 14.99 per month for 80 routes, excl. VAT, all features on every plan. Runs in the browser, 21 interface languages, unlimited devices per account.
