We are a very small company with only one truck on the road multiple times a week, but the advantage of Route4me is without a doubt vital to our business. We were recently required to migrate off a discontinued lower-cost plan, but in doing so, we were very happy we did. We didn't realize how many functions we were missing out on. The customer service and training staff are great, and take the time to make sure you can utilize all aspects of the platform. Long and short, I would recommend the platform to anyone who deals with delivery routes and all the logistics that go along with it. **What do you dislike about Route4Me?** For a small company with only one truck, it is a bit expensive, but the need for this type of service outweighs the cost. **Recommendations to others considering Route4Me:** If you are looking to create, optimize, track routes this is for you. **What problems is Route4Me solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Route4me an experienced dispatcher needed to have a map and the knowledge to set up a route to be planned with no way of tracking our vehicle or alerting our customers. With Route4me this has been made extremely easy, anyone can enter the address into the platform, and Route4me does all the work, including tracking the progress and alerting our customers. ### 10. I have been a user for 5 years and before that I would have 5 google maps up and then try and make master route listed. I don't know how many times I was in the same area the following day because I couldn't fit everything on the map. Overall I couldn't do my job without it anyway but I would love it to be improved!! **Recommendations to others considering Route4Me:** It'll make your day easier if you don't trust it blindly **What problems is Route4Me solving and how is that benefiting you?** Often times when you mark a stop as done it will unmark it as done almost immediately. I would like it to notify me, also, when I punch in an address like 2000km away from my 82 other addresses. Quite often the route it calculates for me isn't the best (will have you drive all around town and come back to spots you've already been because some stops were accross the street from others, or around opposite corners). Ive been using the maps instead of stop numbers. Now if you go to a later stop before its time, it will mark the other stops as done which is pretty annoying because you have to undo the mark as done for each one you "skipped " . I'm a courrier so if I deliver package no92 at the beginning of my route, that's a lot of unnecessary clicks. ### 13. It saves us hours of time-making maps for our drivers every day, and instead, we just integrate it with our ticket generation software. **What do you dislike about Route4Me?** I think the part I dislike the most are the constant notifications that pop up on your mobile device once an edit has been done to the map. My drivers sometime complain that they have to spend a couple of minutes just clearing the notifications if I make any changes to their map while they're on the field. **What problems is Route4Me solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are saving a ton of time in map and route planning now. Before Route4Me, we were using BingMaps and manually entering in all the addresses for the day and then printing it out for our drivers. Now we just gave everyone a tablet and export the excel spreadsheet for each driver at the beginning of the day and boom we're good to go. The spreadsheet import function is worth the pricetag alone. ### 14. The only downside is that it's happened 2x in the 4 months that we've had Route4me. I have several devices, both Android and IOS and unlike other apps that do the same thing, I did not notice a difference on Android or IOS. That is important to because not everyone is on the same device. I also like the fact that you have the ability to follow the vehicles. At times, changes need to be made to routes and you have the ability to make changes immediately if needed to avoid delays or upset customers. **What do you dislike about Route4Me?** There really is not anything to dislike about this app. There is GPS navigation as well as tracking. This allows you to focus on more than just the various routes. If you are a small business the cost may be daunting because there are free alternatives. **Recommendations to others considering Route4Me:** I would recommend this app if you need a reasonably priced solution for deliveries. It works well and is compatible with all of your devices, whether it’s a cell phone, an Android tablet, or an Apple devices. **What problems is Route4Me solving and how is that benefiting you?** Delivery times were always an issue. Also deliveries between locations because at times, it would take too long to order a product from our supplier so we would “borrow” and “sell” between our various locations. We could not only monitor routes but our drivers as well. There were issues in the past with some drivers attending to personal tasks during deliveries and company time, not anymore. We could see exactly where they went, their routes, and could cut down on wasted time, resources, and costs. You also can create a list of drivers and routes for the following day, which saved time. ### 30. I like that I can separate multiple maps by area, city state, vertical, sales funnel, and owner type. I don't have 10-15 maps sitting one screen where I have to pick and choose leads out of bucket. Like the duplicate current map feature as well. **What do you dislike about Route4Me?** Notes can be a little janky, sometimes the optimize routing tool has me walking through builds or driving through blocked off streets in areas (Los Angeles residential areas bordering retail streets is is when this happens). I really don't like the variance in price between Individual / Team / Business / Enterprise. Feels like the mobile app is just not to burn small legacy users but the full features cost a lot of money to implement. **Recommendations to others considering Route4Me:** Consider if you are 1-Person operation or you manage a very large corporation's field teams and you have deep pockets. There really is no in between in terms of cost and features. Terms are great, pricing is good and bad, depends on who you are and what you want to do. As a solo entrepreneur, the mobile version definitely gets the job done. **What problems is Route4Me solving and how is that benefiting you?** Routes, fastest and best way to attack prospecting new businesses.
