RotaBot is staff rota software for businesses that run on shifts, built at a golf centre by the people who write the rota. Managers set what each day needs as blocks of time, headcount and role or area, and RotaBot builds the whole week around contracts, availability, approved leave, training and shift rules. Nobody is rostered to a role they don't hold, outside their availability or onto approved leave. When a requirement can't be covered, RotaBot names the day, role and hours and explains why, rather than hiding the gap or overstaffing. Managers review and edit the week, and nothing reaches staff until they publish. Staff then see the published week in a browser on any phone. Holidays, availability and timesheets sit in the same place, and timesheets export to Excel. RotaBot also notices the fixes a manager keeps making and, after three published weeks, asks before using them.
