Rostero is employee scheduling and attendance tracking software for shift-based teams in healthcare, hospitality, retail, and manufacturing. It replaces spreadsheet rosters and group chat updates with one system: managers build, publish, and adjust schedules, and employees see their shifts on the mobile app as soon as they’re published. Managers build rosters with drag-and-drop scheduling, bulk shift creation, and custom recurrence patterns. Draft mode lets them finish a schedule before publishing it. Departmental Shift Groups divide staff by location, team, or role, and custom permissions let each manager control only their own group. Conflict detection flags overlapping shifts, leave clashes, and availability issues as soon as they happen. Employees request shift swaps from their phones. Rostero checks that the swap is between eligible staff, and nothing changes until a manager approves it. Rostero also supports: - Overnight shifts and complex rotations - Filtering staff by skill, certification, and scheduled hours - Daily, weekly, and monthly views - Leave management - Reports that combine shift, attendance, and leave data It works for single-location businesses, multi-location operators, franchises, and enterprises.
