I love the 3D option to see the changes in my rooms as I furnish them. It's easy to use and love the results I have gotten overall in all my projects. What do you dislike about RoomSketcher? I wish there were more outside options for gardens and more variety in trees and bushes. I also wanted to do a pool house with a roof and couldn't figure out a way to add one. Sometimes the lighting is much darker than I want, when I generate a photo snapshot. The furniture library, although decent, lacks variety — especially when it comes to modern, high-end, or region-specific (e.g. European) furniture and finishes. Sometimes I find myself compromising on interior details just because the right item isn’t available. Also, while the 3D features are strong, color and material customization is sometimes limited to 3D mode only — I would love to see more flexibility in 2D floor plan styling as well. RoomSketcher helps me present properties more effectively and professionally — especially before construction or renovation is completed. As a real estate advisor, I often work with apartments that are under development or in need of visual upgrades. With RoomSketcher, I can easily create before/after layouts, visualize potential furniture arrangements, and show clients how a space could look — without needing an architect or graphic designer. It also saves a significant amount of time in client communication. Instead of sending technical blueprints or written descriptions, I send visual floor plans and 3D snapshots, which help buyers and investors understand spatial proportions immediately. The platform is so well designed, from the uploading of existing plans/sketches to the scaling feature it makes things so much easier. The interface is user friendly and it doesn't take long to get comfortable with using the software (this is coming from a GenXer who doesn't have a natural comfort level with technology!). My main dislike is that while there is a multitude of furniture options for home, hospitality and gyms, there isn't yet a segment for retail furniture which is my primary usage for this software.
