RoofDatum is desktop software for metal roofing takeoff and estimating, enabling PDF plan imports to establish measurements that convert into material quantities and supplier documents within one workspace. Operating locally on Windows x64 and Apple Silicon Macs, it functions without cloud dependency or constant internet connection. The software features dual-scale verification to validate drawing scale before measurement tools activate. Tools capture roof components like sheets, gutters, ridges, and valleys, with pitch applied to area calculations for material quantities. Production settings configure allowances, lengths, and splits, transforming measured components into production pieces. RoofDatum generates material quantities and supplier documents directly from takeoffs. Projects store locally with options for backup or transfer. Supporting metric measurements only, it uses millimeters, meters, and square meters throughout workflows.
