"Efficient Billing"

What do you like best about Rocket Matter?

RocketMatter is easy to use for tracking time and generating invoices. Reporting is also strong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocket Matter?

The calendar function needs improvement. Notably, "all day" entries in Outlook do not show up only on the top of the RM calendar. Instead, they take up the entire page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rocket Matter Highly Recommended"

What do you like best about Rocket Matter?

We switched to RM several years ago. I love the ease of inputting billable hours, editing pre-bills, and sending invoices to clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocket Matter?

My least favorite thing about RM is that you cannot set up AutoText. Since we have a lot of the same verbiage used in billing it would make entering billable time a lot more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For our firm, we only use the billing portion of Rocket Matter. Our firm is small and a lot of the features Rocket Matter has are not useful for us.

I would like to be able to have set billing for every client as in our defense firm, every client bills at a different rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rocket Matter?

Easy to enter expenses/time. However, doesn't allow you to copy and paste for numerous time entries. Not user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocket Matter?

The billing - the inability to change dates of bills. To be able to put whatever date you want for a payment and/or bill. The reports - not enough filters. the program is very narrow on what it allows you to do.

The reports - not enough filters. Plus - just have the names of the reports and not the way they are currently named. It feels juvenile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rocket Matter?

Rocket matter is helpful for billing certain types of cases. Rocket matter helps calendar easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rocket Matter?

You have to re-type events and time entries over and over instead of being able to easily duplicate or enter multiple things at once. It takes 10+ more minutes than usual to put in multiple calendar events or time entries. The calendar interface is ugly but functional. Information is not easily accessible as other practice management systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Rocket Matter:

Use this if it's required to run your practice, but otherwise I'd consider a different program for more efficiency and organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
