Our favorite part of Rocket Matter is the seamless trust accounting. When we run invoices, it automatically credits available trust funds and invoices the client for the different (if any). The save a lot of time compared to Quickbooks which requires manual transfers and multiple accounting entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We really wish that Rocket Matter featured a client number and a matter number which would be automatically iterated and assigned. We use a four digit number for clients (e.g. 3123 for John Smith) and then another four digit number per matter (e.g. .0001 for their first matter with us) for a client/matter # on a given case (e.g. 3123.0001 for the first John Smith matter). That number is used for physical files, reference # in letters, etc. However, we haven't found a way for Rocket Matter to automatically assign these, leading us to use a separate tracking Google spreadsheet instead, which is klunky. - customer service cannot be beat, I rarely have to wait for someone to answer, and they solve my problem quickly and completely and also follow up. And everyone is so nice!

I wish I could use more short-cuts with my keyboard. Like when entering multiple time entries in a row, I wish I could accept a time entry by hitting tab to get to the "save..." button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The web interface has got to be the best feature hands down. I like the ability to customize and the dashboard of course. My favorite feature has gotta be the shortcuts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The app is pretty lacking. It does not have all the features of the desktop version and that can be a bit frustrating when on the go. Otherwise, I wish there was more intergration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do I like best about Rocket Matter? Probably just how simple and easy it is. There is no confusion because it's all mostly common sense. Even if you don't know how to do something, RM will teach you! Step by step! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My least favorite part of Rocket Matter is in the Calendar function. When you're in a month, you can only click on the days in that actual month shown in the small calendar on the side. If the month changes in the middle of a week, you can't click on the prior day to quickly toggle to those events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The hyperlinks within the system are very helpful. Also, the linking of contacts (companies to employees, ect.) makes trying to track down someone easier.

List of least favorite things (in no particular order):

- Not being able to edit invoices after they are processed (everyone makes mistakes!)

- Not being able to take a phone message to link it to the matter in a place that is readily visible on the matter dashboard

I like the layout of RocketMatter. On the main dashboard page, you can see everything from the calendar, agenda, billing time and tasks. I like that all the features are listed on the side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There were a few features that we didn't have access to unless we contacted support. There were a few issues with billing when it came to running invoices that caused some confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful part is being able to bill everything in a matter and set certain task for that matter as well. I also like that I can link all contacts for a matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only dislike is I feel like there are certain parts of Rocket Matter I don't know how to use and the training for that program isn't really understandable to people with little knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The mobile app needs some help. Not all of the desktop features are available on the mobile app. It also is hard to login as it frequently tells you your username and password are not correct when they are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
