For organisations that still rely on IBM Z and IBM I, and other mission critical system, this platform provides a very practical solution that integrates these environments with modern cloud applications instead of requiring extensive unexpensive migrations. Their product portfolios are also very extensive, covering application modernisation and data integration, along with workload automation, which provides security and managed file transfer. We also like and found that their customer portal is useful for accessing software downloads and licensing information, along with the product documentation. Also their technical documentation and other enterprise support resources are particularly valuable for complex deployments. **What do you dislike about Rocket Data Virtualization?** Though the Rocket system offers a very broad enterprise portfolio, its initial learning curve is a bit complex, especially for organization who are new to mainframe modernisation. And also understanding which product with a specific business requirement may need consultation with the technical user team. Some of their administrative interface could also benefit from a more modern user experience and licensing across multiple products, which is very difficult to scope at the initial stage. **What problems is Rocket Data Virtualization solving and how is that benefiting you?** This platform helped us by solving the problem of having a modernised critical business application along with the continued leverage of our existing infrastructure investment. Instead of replacing stable systems, we can securely integrate them with newer cloud applications and also modern development workflows. This platform also helped us in benefiting from modernising legacy applications and connecting mainframe and other cloud environments by improving their data accessibility, along with enhancing security and compliance as well. Their onboarding features such as automated operational workflows and reduced migration risk, were very helpful in the initial stage. ### 2.
