I appreciate Rocket.Chat's on-prem version because it solves security concerns for us. The security it offers is the main reason we chose it over other platforms. We handle very sensitive information, so it's crucial not to have employees sharing this information over online chat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Rocket.Chat? Communication from Rocket.Chat to us is lacking. They suddenly increased their pricing tremendously, which is incredibly unfair. The initial setup was not easy at all; it was very hard and very expensive to set up. In this regard, we made great progress by introducing a chat for service. However, due to some specific issues related to the platform, the complaints and dissatisfaction of our customers are also immediate. In a way, the support that Rocket.chat provides us is good, but it is not 100% effective, considering that the issues we raise take a long time to be resolved. RocketChat also suffers in performance when loading large conversation history (when checking for information posted days prior, for example).
