"Effortless Music Management with Limitations"
5/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

I really appreciate the dashboard feature in Rockbot. It took me a little while to figure it out, but once I did, I saw the benefit of being able to browse and select what stations to play. There's a wide variety of music available, which is great because my team members have different preferences. This feature makes it easy to switch playlists and cater to everyone's tastes. I also found the initial setup to be extremely easy, so much that I didn't have to do anything, which was a big plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rockbot?

Even though I'm paying for the subscription, it kinda sucks that Smoothie King corporate has guidelines that I can't override, especially when it comes to playing certain types of music. I'd prefer if I had full control over what I wanted to play on my speakers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rockbot?

I rebuilt my dental office just over 2 years ago. Installed my own sound system for me and my patients. Prior to this it was a radio. I had considered using Pandora or Spotify but was advised that in a professional setting, this was legal. I was introduced to the Rockbot system. It is perfect for my office. Great quality, no commercials, and we can control what is or is not appropriate for our office. We can skip a song or skip an artist. Nice mix, so many options. Tried German Polka day once, it can be done but I don't advise it. Thursday is 80's music day and the day just flows better for all of us. I love the peace of mind that we are not violating any royalty laws, I wish my peers would take my advice and subscribe to this, it is next level for any professional office. What do you dislike about Rockbot?

Music does not repeat itself, but it seems the same song comes on about the same time every day. This may not be true as we are not tracking this exactly but sure seems this way. Perhaps it is time for us to add more variety. I wish I could play Rockbot music from my home laptop or even my car via my phone. It seems we are limited to just one source and only at the office. "Customizable Music Scheduling, Needs Volume Control Improvements"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

I like the selection of music and the selection of stations that Rockbot offers. I also appreciate the new integration with Spotify, which allows us to create our own custom lists and still have our commercials run. The ability to schedule the type of music to play throughout the day instead of manually integrating it is a great feature. It helps create a vibe that matches the time of day, providing a calmer atmosphere in the morning, high energy midday, and slowing down in the evening. This scheduling creates a particular mood in the studio that enhances the client experience. Moreover, Rockbot is easy to use and allows me to manually control the system from my computer as I oversee all the units. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rockbot?

Not being able to control the volume of the commercials. The music will play at a decent level, but then when the commercials come on, they're extremely loud, and we have no control over that. It's shocking to the clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for Legal, Diverse Event Music"
5/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

I love using Rockbot at our convention center for background music in the hallways and during events. It's easy to use with our systems and helps play music legally. There's a wide variety of music to choose from, which our clients really appreciate, especially for themed events with specific song requests. We're thrilled that we can take Spotify playlists from clients, drop them into Rockbot, and it automatically filters out any songs we can't play, making it perfect for our PG house music policy. Rockbot helps us keep everything legal and above board, ensuring artists are compensated fairly. We can also easily set the tone of an event with their vast music selection. Setting up Rockbot was super easy, and their support team was great in getting us up and running. It's been a game-changer for managing different music across our building's seven zones. The setup was a breeze; I simply told the Rockbot team what I needed, and they sent everything over, which made getting started straightforward and hassle-free. What do you dislike about Rockbot?

I wish we could pick what song plays when and stop and start songs easier for when we are in events that want a certain song played at that moment. Rockbot makes that a little more challenging for that side of things. I also liked when we could play it through the web if a device wasn't working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Music Options, Perfect for Diverse Gym Sessions"
5/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

I love how Rockbot takes out less thinking of genre and what I want to play, with different options from Rock, classic, hype music, slower soft, or fast pace to get people moving and sweating. The variety of options of music and the import option from Spotify or Apple Music enhance the experience, especially since I teach an older population. It allows me to create a playlist and upload it to Rockbot, which is great to have their music genre playing as well. Having a variety of music styles helps a lot when I teach many different session types, ensuring that I have the right music for different demographics and workout types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rockbot?

I don't like the limited skips you get. Sometimes when you let Rockbot choose the genre, it could be screaming music early in the morning, which can get annoying for some people, so I usually skip those, but if a classical jazz comes on I will skip that as well. If I do too many, you have to wait. I wish it was unlimited. The setup was tricky because we have 2 Rockbot, one that covers the turf space training area and the other for the member area. So sometimes turning 'on' and 'off' one or the other can be a pain. Sometimes the Wi-Fi disconnects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Music Management Across Multiple Locations"
5/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

I use Rockbot for all our 16 retail locations and appreciate that we can have the same music at all stores and control the content and sound. A feature I like is that I can assign users to help skip songs that do not fit our store, create playlists for events, and have full control over the music in our stores. This involvement in what is played at our stores is valuable. We switched to Rockbot because its dashboard is user-friendly, more modern, and works better for our needs. The initial setup was soooo easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rockbot?

Honestly it does everything we need. Only thing that would be nice is voiceovers for Ads so we do not have to record those in house Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Music Solution for Diverse Gym Crowds"
5/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

I like how Rockbot lets me change the genre depending on the time of day, catering to different age groups at the gym. Our elder members enjoy a chill music experience in the morning, while teenagers prefer more upbeat music. It's great that I can set it to play certain genres at specific times without needing to change every song or playlist. This feature works extremely well and our members have become accustomed to the good vibes. I love the diversity of the music genre, as it caters to all ages and types of people from around the world. No matter who comes into the gym, whether it's someone older or from a different culture, there is music that suits them, and I love that aspect. The initial setup of Rockbot was extremely easy, and it's super easy to maintain and get back online when there is an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rockbot?

I wish there was an offline version. Sometimes whenever there's a network issue in the gym, our music does go offline, but that's, you know, something personal within our gym. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rockbot: Uplifts Our Studio Atmosphere"
4/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

I love that Rockbot creates the atmosphere and keeps the energy positive in our paint and sip studios. I like being able to have multiple playlists shuffle and play all day without having to commit to only one at a time. It's convenient because we don't have to jump on and change the playlist; we can just schedule multiple playlists, set it, and forget it. I also appreciate the better support Rockbot provides compared to Pandora, which was one reason we switched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rockbot?

There are some songs and artists that are unavailable, so it would be best to have more options. When we import a Spotify playlist, there's always about 15% that we can't include unfortunately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Just Works 24/7: Reliable Playlists with Offline Mode"
5/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

I like that it just works. I setup playlists based on the vibe I am going for and it runs 24/7. I also like that it has an offline mode. Internet can be spotty where I am and it runs with an offline buffer so customers dont notice network issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rockbot?

Nothing really. If I had to find a critique maybe their hardware hasnt moved forward much in the years Ihave been with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Regularly Updated Playlists and Easy Track Checking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rockbot?

It updates the playlists regularly, so it's nice getting current music added to the gym without having to do it ourselves. It's also easy to login and check the song that's playing at any given time. I also like how easy it is to ban music. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rockbot?

It's seemingly impossible to change the playlist schedule through the app. The easiest way to do it is through the desktop, which isn't that bad, but still, it'd be nice to change the schedule via the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
